jonjeff
I'll take Moss. He looks like he can break it every time he touches the ball.
roboas
Thats good news. Beyond the stats, he gave us a huge edge this week by converting on third down and picking up some huge YAC
JWB
Could someone plz get video of those two dropped td passes that coles had? I want to run those as my signature. They were classic Coles. You guys should have heard everyone at this New Jersey bar when he dropped those.
ksun247
Who woulda Thunk it, KC had a defense? that :loser: Coles gets everything he deserves for acting like a baby this offseason :nana: ...He should have had better numbers, especially with KC blowing them out. The JETS had to throw, whereas the Skins didn't. Glad we got Moss. WE WON is all that matters.
SouthernSkinsFan
I thought this was interesting comparing our two new WRs with the two that were let go. I think you'll like this: Rec./Yds/YPC/TD/Result S. Moss - 4/96/24.0/0 Won D. Patten - 3/19/6.3/0 Won L. Coles - 6/66/11.0/0 Lost R. Gardner Did Not Play Lost So far, so good! Now if we can just figure out who's going to be throwing the ball to them. That will be discussed in many other threads over and over and over.... By the way, does anyone know why Gardner did not play? The injury report I looked at did not show him listed. Art
Boy, did Pennington morph into Kurt Warner with those fumbles or what . Good to see Moss look pretty good today.
JerseyGator
The valet stole Gardner's car - for a home game no less.
Uptown Skins
Moss is defintiely more of a gamebreaker than Coles was. I would like to see Moss back there return a few punts.
SouthernSkinsFan
JG, you're kidding me, right?
jimster
I would like to see Moss back there return a few punts. I wouldn't. - There are a lot of fast, hungry WR's with good hands out there that didn't make rosters because of their size. That is who I would rather see back there - and could play an occasional play at WR. At least Chad Morton knew when to fair catch, when to not let it bounce behind you and didn't fumble. JerseyGator
Yes, that was a joke based on a true story from last year.
Neophyte
That is 24 yards per catch for Moss and 11 yards per catch for Coles for those of you keeping track at home. One man is doing better than last year and one man is doing the same.
iheartskins
"Advantage Moss" 6 Fumbles, 6! Are you kidding me with that crap. And Coles with those drops. I have to say, I laughed a bit when I saw that.
SouthernSkinsFan
Thanks for clearing that up. I must have missed that story. I'm still very curious as to why he did not play. Anybody know?
tr1
Moss just looks better than Coles...and he tends to catch the ball with separation. One gets the sense that he can break one at any time.
SonnyJ
Don't forget the long PI call that Moss drew, also. That's just as good as a catch, in my book. Coles sure wasn't getting those for the team last season.
pR0JEkT 21
:point2sky Moss is definetly the better player, its wierd that we didnt see Patten do much today..anyways Im happy we got the win even though it was sloppy, cant be playing like that next week thats for damn sure. We need to beat Dallas..! Good job Moss and all the Redskins!
TaylorPickSix
yes i love moss and patten. soooo much better than LaToe and 50/50.
SouthernSkinsFan
Wow, I just discovered that Rod Gardner was INACTIVE for Carolina today. One would have thought he would at least had a 50/50 chance of playing!

BornSkinsFan
The formerly disguntled Washington Redskin and "Chad Pennington's favorite target" had a less than stellar day today. A couple of dropped passes (one in the endzone), six receptions for 66 yards with a long for 22 yards. The former New York Jet and current Washington Redskins on the other hand...
