GoDannyBoy
Maybe have Moss return punts next week, because we will need the extra yards.
EberKain
Having our best WR return punts is the worst idea I have ever heard. If you want a speedy guy to return punts, might as well keep Brown...
PapaDRoc
Having our best WR return punts is the worst idea I have ever heard. If you want a speedy guy to return punts, might as well keep Brown... ??????? Moss has returned punts his whole career, and has been very successful doing it. With 3 career punt return TD's. I'm not sure how Moss returning punts "is the worst idea I have ever heard." LWC
I'll pass on Edwards. He's on the small side as well. I'd like to get a WR at least over six feet!
MidPennSkin
Just before today's fumble, Brown was carrying the ball like a loaf of bread, way away from his body, and just before he ran into the pile. Do that and you are almost guaranteed to fumble when you get hit. He should know that by now. I vote to cut him.
method man
If Hall indeed has some sort of injury we can use that roster spot to sign a temporary replacement instead of cutting Hall (who showed today he is one of the top kickers in the NFL) or another Skin. If Hall is indeed fine, we could see what Parsons can do in practice.
RDSKNfaithfull
You think Danny has influence over this? You must be a member of the media. Actually Danny has all the say in this Gibbs has said it himself Is it too late to put Young Antonio on the practice squad:doh: Danny Smith that is
nuposse87
i wouldn't mind edwards, but I was shocked when dyson didn't make the team. He doesn't have terrible hands and isn't god forsakenly slow so he woulda been a good target in the red zone.
typhoonseas
i didnt read through the entire thread, but did anybody catch the recap of the giants game? i think chad morton ran back a punt for a touchdown. now i know he didn't do much while he was here, but it's frustrating to hear he's being productive somewhere else while we might be cutting our primary returner.. i hope we get our special teams issues settled sometime soon. Hollywood2k3
I'd give him one more chance to step up or step the hell outta' that Redskins uniform. We simply can not have those costly turnovers!!
Joe Sick
Antonio Brown: Can't break tackles to save his butt - one touch and he's down. Fumbles at awful times - if we are riding on our D again this year, we have zero room for error Shows poor decision making skills in fair catch or not Doesn't look to be an option on offense Cut him - I like the message it sends. Now, as to who we should sign in his place, I would vote Farris. We need a WR who mainly plays teams, and I don't think that Dyson fits that description. Another option is to put Taylor Jacobs back there.
flexxskins
I've been calling for this for sometime! Even if he didn't fumble, he's just not cutout to be a return man because he doesn't have the kind of running style to take kicks up field. But then some of you think he would make a great WR.... Wow, thats just a bad statement if I ever saw one. If the man gets cut, it won't be because "he doesn't have the kind of running style to take kicks up field". It will be because he can't seem to hold on to the football and is unable to play the other position that the coaches want him to play...WR. Bonez3
His potential is so limited and the role he plays on this team has such dire consequence that he is a enormous liability. He hasto be released, unfortunately. I like the Betts and Thrash role. or..... Don't we still have Moss- ahh, he is important, but not to the point where we have to protect him at all costs. Unfortunately for the Skins, we don't have luxury to afford turnovers on S.T.'s. I think the risk is worth the reward.
Dr Pepper
I wouldn't cut him just yet, dang give him a couple games at least. I do think he made a couple mistakes on when to fair catch, as long as he doesn't fumble the ball he is as good as Morton was, with more potential. Is it him or the blocking on special teams thats to blame. When you got guys in your face soon as you catch the ball even on kickoffs, hard to get anything going. Betts actually got some blocks on his one returned.
Mr. S
not sure, just that I think our whole return teams unit needs a lot of help.

Major Harris
it's funny, cuz way back in march or april when gibbs was glowing about brown's amazing speed, there were people on this board wondering why he couldn't be a legit WR. i said then that, watching him at WVU in college, i knew he had no hands. he goes from being a potential gamebreaking WR (to some on this board), to being cut w/ one fumble. RDSKNfaithfull
Bad hands, too small for the pounding, Stupid decisions, runs East and West. He should have been on the practice squad
SkinsLegacy44
I've been wanting him CUT since he coughed up that punt last year in Dallas. HE STINKS!
CrabR
cut him, he has shown nothing except in the Dallas game last year. Call up Rich Parson, he showed he could hold on to the ball and he had a few good KO returns
long_shot
I would have cut him during the Ravens game... if you're a returner you have to at least be a capable backup at another position and he just can't catch.... If Gardener was 50/50 Brown is 20/80. Bring back McCants or Dyson.... we have people who can return jsut as well as Brown is doing if not better... Nighthawk
I'd like to jump on the "Cut Antonio Brown" Bandwagon. For spending sooo much time on Special Teams in the offseason and keeping guys on the rosters just for their special teams play, I haven't seen much of a difference. Maybe we need to cut the coach. Danny hasn't fired anybody in a long time. Danny needs to fire Danny Smith. One Danny is enough!
EberKain
???????Moss has returned punts his whole career, and has been very successful doing it. With 3 career punt return TD's. I'm not sure how Moss returning punts "is the worst idea I have ever heard." When he was doing that, was he the best reciever on the team? In my eyes, he is our best guy by far. Alot of guys get hurt returning punts, plus, he returns one and then has to go out and run routes at less than 100%. Having your #1 WR return punts is a bad idea any way you slice it.
