Tommorrows MVP

It looks like this game is going to be a slug it out, ball control game. So the best bet for MVP would either be Portis or someone on the defense. However its a new season and for all we know this could be a shoot out that ends up being 42-35. :whoknows:My pick for MVP is going to be none other then Sean Taylor. I think tommorrow he will have a monster game in both run support and in coverage. Ron Turner likes to go deep and he isnt going to change that completely because he has a rookie starting.

Sean Taylor

6 tackles

1 forced fumble

1 int

1 Sack

I think if we win, it'll be because of Portis and if the Bears win, it'll be because of Orton. The Bears will look to stop the run as their primary objective, and if we can control the clock and run it down their throats, we will win. I don't see Ramsey winning the game for us. Portis can run on these guys, and if he does, we'll win, and he'll be the player of the game.

On the other side, if we lose, it'll be because Orton beat us. I have full confidence that we can stop Thomas Jones, and I think we'll get somewhere around 17ish points, so if Chicago has a chance to beat us, it'll have to be through the rook. If we shut down Orton, which we should do, we'll win. If not, then he'll emerge as the player of the game in a Bears victory.

Do you actually think a rookie QB is going to put up 35 against the Skins D? San Taylor is a good pick for MVP. We should get 3 or 4 picks in this game, I'll go with Marcus Washington to have a huge game.

No i dont personally think that. The point was it is a new season and no one really knows how the game is going to play out.... thats the beauty of week one jitters.

To piggy back off RWJ, if the Bears stack the line then I think Patten has a great shot to be MVP. Here are my reasons.

1. Ramsey looked to patten early and often in the preseason

2. Tillman most likely will shadow moss.

3. Patten has unreal hands and catches all the underneath routes.

4. He is more then determined to prove his worth as a wide reciever.

Throw in a few playaction bombs and he could very well have a monster game.

7 catches 144 yards 2 TD's :applause:

Santana Moss. Gibbs will revert somewhat back to the short passing game (you know, those damn WR screens). Unlike Coles, Moss has function of all 10 toes, and will actually turn a couple into huge gains. In addition, he'll get locked into one on one coverage at least once, and score a TD of 40+ yards.

EDIT: Damn! I thought I was being original.....Teaches me to read through the entire thread before posting...Regardless, I stand by that pick.
