mdl70
A friend scored a couple tickets and will be making the trek out with us for opening day. Personally, I think he just wanted to tag along since we have a parking pass. Anyway... He said he heard on the news this morning something about one of the Beltway loops closing down around 10pm or so Saturday night through 10am Sunday morning. I can't find any mention of this at all. My dad and I usually crack our first beer at 9:50am or so for a 1pm start time. Has anyone heard of one of the loops closing this weekend? If so, which one? Not that I expect this will affect anyone except the die hards, but it would be nice to know in case there is some extra traffic on the road due to the closures. Thanks. MoeRedskins
I just started taking the cut through the District to get the stadium for the preseason and it was great. Leaving Tyson's Corner at 5:30, I never got to the stadium later then 6:30, you can't beat that on a friday in rush hour.

I guess just to be on the safe side we'll do it again on Sunday.
