After Joining this board last week and looking around on other boards, its funny how Skins fans are so quick to call our WR's old and washed up.

Below is a list of WR's that I know plenty of skins fans would love to have over Patten, Thrash, Jacobs,Brown and Ferris

Isaac Bruce 33

Joe Horn 33

Terrel Owens 32

Harrison 33

Jimmy Smith 36

Eddie Kennison 32

Keneen McCardell 35

Muhammad 32

So if Glenn at 31 and Keyshawn at 33 are washed up then these other teams WR are washed up if that is Redskin logic.

Just my :2cents:

I think the emphasis would be on the "washed up" part, not the "old" part. Saying Terry Glenn is younger than T.O. does not make him good. Terry Glenn had 24 catches for 400 yards and 2 TDs last year. If he does that again this year, Cowboy fans will probably be referring to him as old and washed up.

I'm sure your team would love to have them too.

I don't think age really has anything to do with it. Can't say anything negative about Glenn as long as he can stay healthy. I never thought Keyshawn has been that great EVER(and that's before he was a Cowboy). He's got decent hands and is a great possesion WR, but has never been that HR hitter that his mouth (and many of his supporters) make him out to be.

Glenn got hurt last year, hence the low numbers... When he was in Dallas' offense was doing ok...

If he can stay healthy, with Keyshawn, Price, Crayton and Witten out there catching balls, Dallas has a formidable set of receivers (and a formidable receiving TE)

Acutally i doubt many skins fans would want a majority of those guys. Maybe in thier primes, but i dont think Smith, Kennison, McCardell or Muhammad, are better then our wide outs; if the skins put one of those four i listed in place of what they had now they would not be any better at that position. And i wouldnt and again many teams fans wouldnt want TO because of his BS. :2cents:

come on. the clear difference between the players you listed is continued PERFORMANCE.

Isaac Bruce and Keenan McCardell have continued to perform at a very high level as has Muhsin Muhammad.

I didn't see Terry Glenn or Keyshawn put up numbers worth talking about in 2004.

In fact Glenn was sent packing from GB pretty quickly.

Age is not the dominant issue UNLESS that player also happens to be slowly trending downward in productivity.

Peerless Price, whom the Cowboys also signed, is another player I could make this argument about. That last season in Buffalo that allowed him to go the Falcons embodied numbers he has never reached since.

People can project those types of numbers for him going forward but may not be realistic.

be nice to cowboy fans, they have no real hope, let them hold onto anything that makes them feel better. after they get swept by the iggles and skins they will come back to reality. peter king has them all reliving the 90's. /end sarcasism

Swept by the Skins?

Interesting notion considering we've taken 16 of 17.

And the Eagles? Well, have fun choking again.

Kissing the butts of Skins fans here wont make them like you anymore.
