Joncevensen
Thats a very classy move by the team. Hopefully everyother team steps up to the plate and contributes a sizable amount.
pR0JEkT 21
I read a little bit ago that Dan Snyder flew Robert Royal to New Orleans in his private plane and then flew him and his family back and that hes going to give his family all the financial support they need until they get on their feet. Once I find the link I will post it! Thats something really nice that Dan is doing!

Thinking Skins
Have the other owners donaited yet? This is one time that I wouldn't mind somebody trying to outdo Danny. If someone came in and gave $750,000 it would be well spent.
Blondie
I hope some of the money people donate comes to the families here in Texas. There are over 250,000 evacuees here...needing everything. Good job Redskins! Blondie

Gallen5862
Blondie the states that are helping with the hurricane evacuees will also get federal assistance. Fox news talked to a congressman and there will be another 40 billion dollar aid packet in congress. The congressman from Louisana said the other states get federal money because those states declared emergencies as well.
triple6mafia
I think the arizona owner gave 25,000. I'm surprised, but happy that Dan would do that.
O.S.F
I was actually a little "upset" that the NFL donates only $1M. Obviously, Mr. Snyder felt the same way...
ksun247
Little Danny Boy with the BIG HEART doing a lot of good to help those in need. Who says we don't have the best owner in the league...JOB WELL DONE!!! Mr Snyder.
redman
Have the other owners donaited yet? This is one time that I wouldn't mind somebody trying to outdo Danny. If someone came in and gave $750,000 it would be well spent. Word out of New Orleans yesterday anyway was that Saints owner Tom Benson would refuse to refund the money prepaid for season tix on the grounds that the disaster was an "Act of God" that was excluded from the rain check provisions of the contract.
chiplohmillers#1
Are you kidding me a classy move. Snyder banked in 150 million last year, your telling me the best he can do is half a million. He and the rest of the NFL should be embarassed especially since a member of the company is in trouble. Danny will make 500 grand in intrest on his investments tonight while he is asleep. Nick Cage was able to pony up a million Snyder cant even match that. As far as Nick Cage, he doesn't have huge debt service on a stadium.
PCS
Fact is he donated. And a bunch of money at that. Maybe not as much as he could, but still a very nice amount of money he didn't have to donate in the first place. And this is not his first assistance in this tragedy either. Sigh.
