goldenster95
From BearsReport.com . . . Kyle Orton will not have more than a few series against Cleveland as his final game preparation for the start of the regular season. “We’re just trying to get him in position to go into that week,” Smith said. “We can’t have anything else happen. As Kyle says, he gets a chance to play against we think the best defense in the league each day and that’s enough to get him ready for the Redskins.”
scskin
From all these reports from first Orton and now Lovie, it shows one thing, they're SCARED !!!
essex03
Alrighty rookie! Have fun with Lavar, Marcus, and crew breathing down your neck every other play... you didnt see anything like that at Purdue boy!!!

dreamingwolf
the bears D is a respectable one, but on game day the quarterback doesnt get the luxury of a "do not destroy shirt". The bears D is also not the best in the league, but it is formidable.
MLiverpool
Post that in the locker room... with all the rest... let the Skins feed off the lack of respect for the D... and crew.
bubba9497
you do know Chicago was ranked #21 in total D last year #14 pass #24 rush #13 scoring good choice of words for your players... BB material for everyone else
AzSkinsFan63
Wow they practiced with the Skins everyday? I knew Baltimore was close but how come noone reported this?
Gallen5862
I know our Defense is waiting to welcome him to the league. Our defense keeps getting disrespected. I can't wait to see what packages that Williams has for the game.

MLiverpool
I see it now... a High/Low four ways... Lavar/Washington high/low left/right... Rogers/Springs front/back... Taylor recovers what he thinks is a fumble... but its really... Orton's head... YIKES! Okay, that was overkill... but I'm looking forward to this game... and Skins football in general(preseason is like chinese food...I watch it, but its just not enough to fill me up)... Heh with everything negative that has been posted in the locker room the walls will be half an inch thicker and players will be late onto the field every game if they use everything as motivational material .
panel
I think every one is underestimating Chicago, they do have a really good defence despite their stats from last year, and receivers good enough to create heart breaking moments. With Grossman out and an unproven offense, we have the big edge going into the game, but I don't think this will be a blow out.

Due to the fact that the game is here, and us fans (and the team) is steaming to bust out of the gate, I think there is no hope for da bearsss. I think the crowd will get riled up after our D makes a few big time plays, and will our offense to score. With Clinton Portis and Ladell Betts to tire the ****s out (that's a lot of chasing) I think our O can really turn some heads. Don't want to speak too soon, but the Bears are out of line calling their D "the best."

MeNoRevs
I dont see anything wrong with what he said. He is trying to say all the right things about his organization, and give respect to his teammates, in this case his Defence. I hope the Redskins are not underestimating the Bears like the fans are here. I know it was a different team then now, but 2 years ago, a Rookie QB came out for the bears and beat us. Mr. S
the Bears are no pushover, and Orton has certainly displayed great things in pre-season. The Bears defensive line seems better than ours on paper so far, but only the game will tell. Either way, it wont be an easy game, unless Ramsey suddenly starts to have a downfield passing explosion (which is certainly possible).
kappaluvacee
From all these reports from first Orton and now Lovie, it shows one thing, they're SCARED !!! It shows me someone is smoking that green stuff....The best defense in the league, due they not read a stat sheet. It's OK, to believe whatever you want, but some things are easily verified and I know they have the resources to know exactly where their "D" stands in the league. kingdaddy
This has to be one of the dumbest quotes a head coach can make as he prepares a rookie QB for his first ever start in the NFL. Why would he give the opposition anything to get pumped up on? Lovie Smith will be gone before he puts in 3 full years in Chicago.
Leonard Washington
it doesn't seem you guys are giving the bears alot of respect either. i've been debating if it would be a good thing for us to win game 1. for the last few years we've won, and the season was typically over by week 5. maybe if we lose game 1 we'd buckle down and earn wins instead of tripping into them.
