SlinginSammy HOF '63
OK, for those with a fixation on meticulousness maybe not authentic, but they are NFL shop's definition of authentic. They don't appear to be like the multitude of counterfeits that are all over ebay. Maybe you could turn the 98 into a Lamar Marshall jersey: Redskins jerseys

Maybe you could turn the 98 into a Lamar Marshall jersey: Redskins jerseys The jerseys may be the same as those sold on nfl.com, but they're still all fakes. Here's what the seller says in his listing: "You can rest assured that any jersey thet you purchase from us is 100 percent AUTHENTIC...Wear the authentic jersey worn by the game's top players." Haha, what a joke. There's not one jersey in the list that looks even remotely like the jersey that the game's top players are wearing.

The only way to get a Portis authentic I think is to mug the lil guy. If you want a Cooley try dressin up like a cheerleader

Well I have a team issued #98, sewn, no name on the back, but it's an Adidas. It'll be on eBay soon. www.authenticlettering.com supposedly can make it a Marshall for around $30. I dunno if you saw, but that link has a graphic thats says they no longer do jersies not purchased from them. How much are you selling your jersey for, or hoping to? And, maybe more importantly, how did you aquire it in the first place?
Walking Deadman
I don't care if the jerseys are "Fakes" or "Authentics" but I got a very nice "authentic" Arrington throwback and a Mitchell and Ness "Authentic" D. Williams throwback on ebay for about $50 each after shipping costs..... Good jerseys are available for cheap on ebay if you just wait, find reliable sellers and get lucky. How much are you selling your jersey for, or hoping to? And, maybe more importantly, how did you aquire it in the first place? Yeah that graphic has been there for a long time. What they'll do is sell you the nameplate and sell you the letters of the name you want, and then you have to sew them yourself, or get your GF or tailor or mom or somebody to do it. Buy your letters and nameplate here: http://authenticlettering.com/individual_lettering.html Click on the link that says Please Use This Price Chart I'd call them though, don't email them. Place the order by phone. Make sure everything is straight, regarding year of the jersey, color, etc. For example, the 2001s have the pro brite shine, the ones after 2001 don't. That kind of stuff. If it doesn't look exactly right, it will look fake. You don't want that! I'll probably ask something like $129 for my #98. It's a size 46 I believe. I got it by paying good hard american currency for it. ;-)

Like a sports memorabilia store or what? I got a sean taylor "authentic" from the skins store and realized sometime later it wasnt exactly authentic, but Im still happy with it because its very very very close, and now signed I kinda want an actual portis jersey but wouldnt even know how to go about gettin one short of writting him a letter which wouldnt work

And probably so does everybody else who's an extremeskin member. But a true game worn Portis will cost thousands. What you have to do is settle. Get a different one, besides Taylor or Portis. Besides, everybody has Taylor and Portis (the fakes), so give some of the other guys some lime light. By the way, I happen to have a #97 on eBay right now. It's blank, but it could be made a Wynn jersey easily enough. Again, it's an Adidas though. Or maybe you can find an old 26 somewhere. For example, I have a #56 game worn, but it has Bonner on the back, and it's from 1989. But there's a certain integrity to it as it is, and I don't want to mess it up by changing it to Arrington, if you know what I mean. SamSneed36
Well i dont necessarily even want a jersey WORN by Portis, I just dont get why either the redskins or reebok dont sell an exact copy of the jersey worn on the field? Why not atleast have it as an option on the website so even if they arent widely popular they could just make it and ship it on an individual basis. For 300 youd think the NFL wouldnt try to pawn a fake off as the real deal

Duke
no chris cooley -.- Yes Chris Cooley authentic jersey, not my size though. I emailed the seller and he said that I had to put money upfront. Then, he would send the order to Reebok and had it shipped to me in 4 weeks. You can choose size and color. I don't want to wait that long, so I got a Jurgensen one instead. :applause:

I don't care about the worn thing either, I just want one that's REAL. I think they (nfl.com and redskins.com) don't sell genuine authentic team issued jerseys because it's much more profitable to sell cheap fakes.
