Spaceman Spiff
I received this fwd the other day that talked about if people boycott the biggest gas company, Exxon/Mobil, gas prices will come down. I'm not really sure what to make of this. I can see how it would work and how it wouldn't. Anyone have any thoughts on this?

GrimReefa
Hmmmm...how to make gas prices go down... First off, get everyone to buy smaller, more fuel efficient cars and car pool/use mass transit more. That'll bring down demand, and that's the first thing you'll want to do. Second, and this is more long-term - support political candidates who'll support developing alternative energy sources. Developing alternative energy for the home means more oil for gasoline, and an alternative energy source for cars would solve the problem directly - not to mention cutting down or cutting out carcinogenic emissions and greenhouse gasses from being released into the atmosphere. Guest sith lord
How can we really boycott? We all depend on gas/fuel in our everyday lives. Off topic, kind of, it amazes me that Bush hasn't really caught any heat over this.
