SkinsFanFromAsia
This guy is definitely a keeper. If you notice the way he runs even when he gets gang tackled he still moves the pile foward. The Rock may have a better camp right now because he is getting alot of reps with the first team. Don't get me wrong I love the Rock but Nemo has alot more potential as far as being a bruiser. Anyone disagree?

Mr. S
I wish we could keep both, but I dunno how itll work out. Nemo does tend to move the pile a lot, and Gibbs likes bruising backs. If we dump both Dyson and McCants and keep Moss/Patten/Thrash/Jacobs/Brown, we will prolly keep both running backs
Phat Hog
I can't see Nemo going anywhere - another team will grab him from the practice squad.
flexxskins
Don't get me wrong I love the Rock but Nemo has alot more potential as far as being a bruiser. Anyone disagree?I don't necessarily disagree with his potential. Anyone who knows me here knows that I have wanted Nemo in a Redskins uniform since I saw him at the combine. I went to my first training camp this off-season and even got a chance to converse with the guy a little bit. Believe me when I tell you that he is a genuinely nice guy. The thing that had always struck me as being a little strange was..."why did a 250lb RB who damn near ran a 4.4 40, last until the 7th round"? Well, as much as I like the guy, I think that I am starting to see a couple of the reasons in why he lasted so long. The biggest thing that I had noticed was his vision. It just seems to me that he has a little trouble in finding running lanes. Balance. For a 250lb RB Nemo goes down a bit too easily. Sometimes it seems like that he is surging/leaning forward so much that he goes down with the slightest of touch . I remember seeing him a couple of times hitting a hole, but falling foward, when actually, with his speed, he could have burst into daylight for a big gainer. I am still a Nemo fan and hope that good coaching will help him prosper on this team. But because I want the Redskins to win more than my wish for any individual to make the team...Rock is starting to look like our 53 man roster type back. However, this is just IMHO.P.S. Yes, I copy and pasted my statement from my own thread "Coaching Nemo".
js79
i would be more sold on him if he didn't fumble as much
d0ublestr0ker0ll
Ok guys, don't get on me about spotlighting his one fumble 2 weeks ago..but if you watch him run he likes to carry the ball in one arm a lot. He almost fumbed a couple times last night. Very lucky to hold on. But Aikman and Buck didn't even notice. This is correctable, but right now Rock has to be our 3rd back. Otherwise, why not put the cat at FB?
The Sir
We don't use a fullback in our system. And I'm not sure how great a leadblocker Nemo is. I think we've found a role for him and they'll find a way to put him on the team. He seems to be a pretty good special teamer, so that might be enough to keep him active on gameday. rdskn4eva
If Nemo is not our short yardage back, Ill be upset. To me, he is exactley what we need. We stole this guy in the draft. And hes good in Special Teams!! :dallasuck :dallasuck :dallasuck :eaglesuck :gaintsuck
hands11
The kid has potential. I was tring to figure out who he reminded me of. Then last night, on one run, I figured it out. Small little chop steps as he hit the whole. Lowers his shoulder and runs over people. Then it hit me. At least on the one play. And actually if you remember this player early in his career, I think he had some fumbling problems. And he didnt alway read the play correctly and got gang tackled. Anyway, it hit me. He reminds me of a young Stephen Davis, only hes bigger and probably a step or 2 slower. Davis was actually a burner for 230.
Hollywood2k3
Yeah I like Rock, always have....but this kid Nemo is SERIOUS! Watch him when he runs, HE initiates contact and I LOVE that about him....he's a hard nose, grind it out guy...I think we should keep him AND Rock
