Wow, can't believe Zach Wilson has climbed that high. I mean he has top 20 numbers against a pretty cupcake schedule for sure but 1st round NFL talent? Interesting because of how average he was last year.

To be fair, of the top 10 quarterbacks that finished the season last year in QBR, only 1 was a top 5 draft pick

Watched two games of Franks so far. Franks isn't even on the radar, like a 7th round dude. I'd take Trask any day.

I've seen Purdy play enough I wouldn't waste a 3rd or 4th pick on him with all the other needs we have. Maybe if he's there in the 6th. He's not bad but nothing special. Colt McCoy was a better college qb.

I agree with most of this, I’d only take Darnold if it didn’t take much to get him and we weren’t top 2. The big question is if we are like the 4th/5th pick in the draft and in position to pick a top talent at one of the many positions we need would you still take the risk on lance. If we were like between 12-20 I can see taking the risk but top 5. I don’t know. What would you do with a top 5 pick?

I honestly wouldn't be against Darnold. If we don't have a top 2 pick we're basically stuck with the potential gamble on Trey Lance. Not sure if I would take that gamble even though I would root him on like crazy if they did. Other than that the qbs in this draft are pretty blah. Trask from Florida maybe in the 2nd/3rd round, definitely would pass on Mond, Purdy, and Costello.

Lawrence or Fields if we are 1 or 2. If not, this is where the coaches have to make the big bucks. Not really a good offseason for vet qbs. Don't want to give Dak the contract he wants and not even sure Cam wants to play with this terrible team. We might be stuck in 2021 just rebuilding the team and running out Allen or some other mediocre vet. I guess maybe Lance, but I'm not sold on him like Lawrence and Fields. And the rest of the qb class in the draft doesn't look that appealing to waste a 2nd or 3rd on.

Let’s see what he can do with a qb that can make plays. Rams game he did more getting Allen out of the pocket. Now just have to scheme up some plays downfield. I’m sure he was just trying to get Allen some easy throws and get the rust off and unfortunately lost him before they can open up the playbook. He’s been dealing with statistically the worst qb in the league 2 years in a row. Give him a chance with a better qb.

Man, there's really no quarterbacks I would want that won't be drafted in the first round. None that I would even take a risk on. And if we have the 5th or 6th pick are we really going to take a chance on Trey Lance at that spot? Because Lawrence and Fields will most likely go 1 or 2. And then free agency is lacking in qbs also. If we don't get Cam, we are pretty much stuck. So the question is, is Trey worth the franchise qb treatment at 5 or 6? I haven't seen enough NDSU games to know, all I know is it's scary to draft qbs based on "talent" alone. That's how Trubisky and Daniel Jones were drafted.
