In Fitzpatrick’s bouncing around career, has he ever had an opportunity on a team with talent on either side of the ball?Not saying Washington is loaded, but the defense is a LB away from being elite and the offense really just lacks (outside of QB) a #2WR, #2TE, and maybe a LT (along with O-Line depth) from being at least solid. Saying if he wasn’t asked to be Fitzmagic all the time, maybe he wouldn’t be Fitztragic some of the time. He’s a smart dude, that’s now seen a lot of football. Like the post above, I also was thinking about how Joey T did it for us later in his career. But, he was set up with a strong run game, playmakers, and a great defense built around the D-Line.

I feel like the Texans sent that out deliberately towards Washington. They want to trade with the NFC. But, this is the beginning of the negotiation. Washington could come back and say, “No. two firsts. A second and two thirds and a fifth.” Houston scoffs. Eventually, something in the middle is agreed upon. Maybe two firsts. A second. Two thirds and Payne. Honestly, it’s gonna be difficult retaining all these D-Linemen anyway as their rookie deals start coming to an end.

What if we really tried but couldn’t get Watson, because our efforts motivated Jerry Jones to sign Dak, and then trade him and some draft picks for Watson? 😳

It’s like our 21st century Kelvin Bryant. Like a pass catching RB,but even more on the catching end than the running end. Does two things immediately for the offense. Can create matchup problems similar to the way a great receiving TE can do and seems to create big plays.

Funny how any helmets/jerseys/uniforms look better when a team is winning. Personally, I’d like the burgundy and gold to me more... well... burgundy and gold. To be a deeper darker red (like a red wine) and a truer gold (like Notre Dame or Navy). Then simplify the pant stripe and modernize the helmet stripe too. White jerseys and burgundy pants was our tradition through the glory years at home and I liked that it was the opposite of most teams. It made the burgundy jerseys a rare treat too. But, I’m fine with doing the opposite if they updated the look a bit.
