    2019 Comprehensive Draft Thread

Haskins threw for 4,831 yards, 50 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2018, while Jones threw for 2,674, 22 touchdowns and nine interceptions during the same season.

    2019 NFL Draft discussion thread

WOW why all the negativity, who would you guys have liked the team to draft???? I think you haters will be surprised once Haskins learns the offense and starts to play, give the guy a chance before you start comparing him to other past QBs. "Haskins threw for 4,831 yards, 50 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2018, while Jones threw for 2,674, 22 touchdowns and nine interceptions during the same season."

    Cut-Down Day

Not sure but I would guess numbers crunch as they already had a pretty good OL.

    Cut-Down Day

The Raider cut OL Denver Kirkland 6'5" 335# played LG at Arkansas I think, I wanted the Redskins to draft him now I want the Redskins to sign him and dump sorry ass Tony Bergstrom. We need a stout backup OG.

    2019 Comprehensive Draft Thread

The Redskins top needs in the 2019 draft for me are LG (OG), speed edge rusher, FS who can cover and TACKLE, QB to develop and RB. For OL I want Derwin Gray - LT Maryland 6'4" 330 not fat guy to move to LG. I'm not up to speed on any of the other positions yet.

Trent Williams convert to LG, Will Shields #HOF

From what I've read in the training camp updates Christian is nowhere near ready to be the backup swing tackle so forget about moving Neseke to LG. Although I'm not sure why thwy haven't tried Cam Jefferson, Isaiah Williams or TJ Clemmings at LG, maybe they're waiting until final cuts to find an upgrade. The starting LG and the interior backups scare the bejeebus outta me, I hope someone on the team emerges during Preseason or we find upgrades after final cuts and then in the draft next year grab Derwin Gray from Maryland (6'4" 335) and plug him in at LG.
  8. Hankins was cut by the Colts because they're switching from a 3-4 to a 4-3 front and they didn't feel like he fit their new scheme, had nothing to do with him being lazy or anything else.

    What to do with LG

If we wait until the 2019 draft I want Derwin Gray OG from Maryland 6'4" 335# power lifter.
  10. Apke shouldn't be the backup safety he can't cover and takes bad angles, something the last line of defense CAN'T do, the only thing he offers is straight line speed. And if this were any other player that needed this much "seasoning" everyone would be yelling "why waste a roster spot on player "X" when they can't help the team right now". Blanding is a better tackler and knows how to take angles better than Apke and Fish Smithson is better than either of them plus he was on PS last year so he knows the defense better than the others as well so I'd put my money on Smithson.

    What to do with LG

Carolina's not cutting ties with him I was just suggesting we inquire as to what the price would be, because I'd rather have a young up and comer that a guy at the end of his career.

    What to do with LG

I have an out of the box solution to the LG problem, see if the Panthers would be willing to trade LG Taylor Moton a second year guy that I wanted the Skins to draft two years ago. He'll be on a rookie deal for two more years and he is projected to battle for the starting job in Carolina and since we have 11 picks next year I'd offer one of our 3rd and a 5th and see what they say.
  13. I'd see if Carolina would be willing to trade second year second round pick Taylor Moton LG to us.

    What to do with LG

I had a thought, Laken Tomlinson the Guard currently with SF49ers was someone I wanted the Skins to draft, he's young 26 I think and he's a road grader but he's in the last year of his contract and SF isn't going to resign him. You know the Shanahans like small light in the pants lineman (that's why they traded their huge RT Brown to the Patriots during the draft)so I would trade a 5th rounder next year for Tomlinson and bring in Jari Evans and maybe Robinson as well.
