The Redskins didn't bring Flowers here to play Tackle they brought him here to play Guard, a position he's NEVER PLAYED so when Trent didn't show up they had Flowers playing tackle where everyone knows he's terrible. And many were saying he would be CUT before training camp was over, without giving the man a chance to practice/learn a new position. And he's be pretty good these first two weeks and I believe he'll only get better moving forward. And as far as Trent not being a mauler in the run game, you're terribly mistaken, our failures in the run gam in the past has been no push from the middle of the line with Lavaou.

For all of you who wrote Ereck Flowers off and wanted Martin to start how are you feeling now? Flowers and Penn, the supposed weak link of our OL have outplayed Scherrif and Moses so far this season and I believe that Flowers will only get better and better each week as he "learns" the guard position.

Haskins threw for 4,831 yards, 50 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2018, while Jones threw for 2,674, 22 touchdowns and nine interceptions during the same season.

WOW why all the negativity, who would you guys have liked the team to draft???? I think you haters will be surprised once Haskins learns the offense and starts to play, give the guy a chance before you start comparing him to other past QBs. "Haskins threw for 4,831 yards, 50 touchdowns and eight interceptions in 2018, while Jones threw for 2,674, 22 touchdowns and nine interceptions during the same season."

The Redskins top needs in the 2019 draft for me are LG (OG), speed edge rusher, FS who can cover and TACKLE, QB to develop and RB. For OL I want Derwin Gray - LT Maryland 6'4" 330 not fat guy to move to LG. I'm not up to speed on any of the other positions yet.

Trent Williams convert to LG, Will Shields #HOF

From what I've read in the training camp updates Christian is nowhere near ready to be the backup swing tackle so forget about moving Neseke to LG. Although I'm not sure why thwy haven't tried Cam Jefferson, Isaiah Williams or TJ Clemmings at LG, maybe they're waiting until final cuts to find an upgrade. The starting LG and the interior backups scare the bejeebus outta me, I hope someone on the team emerges during Preseason or we find upgrades after final cuts and then in the draft next year grab Derwin Gray from Maryland (6'4" 335) and plug him in at LG. -
Apke shouldn't be the backup safety he can't cover and takes bad angles, something the last line of defense CAN'T do, the only thing he offers is straight line speed. And if this were any other player that needed this much "seasoning" everyone would be yelling "why waste a roster spot on player "X" when they can't help the team right now". Blanding is a better tackler and knows how to take angles better than Apke and Fish Smithson is better than either of them plus he was on PS last year so he knows the defense better than the others as well so I'd put my money on Smithson.

I believe Arie will win the starting job at LG and I believe Timon Parris will make the 53 man roster as the swing guard.
