A tight end by any other name

Ok. Thank you!!!! @TK Can you bring this issue to the Front Office (or better yet, Mr. Snyder's) attention?

A tight end by any other name

I'm thinking this is PROOF the cowturds are tampering. Why else would they have a page set up on their website for him unless they spoke with him and have an agreement. Does anyone here have any pull with the Redskins front office? I would LOVE to have Mr. Snyder use this and get the girls under investigation. If guilty, I think they should lose a first round pick!!!

Well, apparently Austin Hooper is a Dallas Cowboy already. Which is strange, since FA hasn't started yet. https://www.dallascowboys.com/team/players-roster/austin-hooper/

What Offer Would Change Your Mind on Trading Down???

This isn't a counter point, rther a point of clarification to something I keep seeing thrown around: Because there is no CBA at this point, there is no difference between pre and post 6/1 cuts and trades.

Please tell me they focused on Desean Jackson totally screwing them over by not getting surgery so he could collect a paycheck all year. Dude still kills them even when he is on their team lol

Well, if we trade down with Detroit first it could be #3

What Offer Would Change Your Mind on Trading Down???

I was thinking what Kingdaddy said.... swap with Detroit to get exta picks and still get Young. Stafford is no longer a franchise QB and how often do you get a top 3 pick with QB need as a? So it was my surprise when I saw mocks with Detroit taking some CB instead of a QB. I guess it makes sense what Warhead says, if Patricia is on the hot seat, he might draft someone to win now. But are they really that close to contending? Wouldn't his job be safer if he did the right thing and draft one of the two top QBs?

Congratulations Kendall Fuller and Bashaud Breeland.

I thought Mr. Snyder listens to the fans though. Wasn't it the fans that kept him from hiring Jim Fassal?

What Offer Would Change Your Mind on Trading Down???

So Basically, we were the only ones this century stupid enough to make that boneheaded trade. The rest of the league learned from Hershal Walker and the value of draft picks

It looks like the Eagles will not hire an offensive coordinator https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28640570/eagles-promote-press-taylor-add-rich-scangarello-andrew-breiner-oc How awful doyou have to be to not get anyone for that job lol

Thoughts on Greg Olsen potentially signing here? (M.E.T.)

I still think that if the price is right, he would happily play here and give 100% effort. Gets to continue with Coach Ron, gets to be in amazing city. Chicago is a big city with a lot going on in its own right, but name one sky scraper-less city with more art, money and power? Maybe the Vatican?

What Offer Would Change Your Mind on Trading Down???

Maybe it was a 2021 first, which honestly will probably be more valulable than either of Miami's other two firsts

No Secondary. No 2020 2nd round pick. Thanks Bruce "Jelly of the Month Club" Allen! Apparently you are the gift that keeps on giving.

Thoughts on Greg Olsen potentially signing here? (M.E.T.)

Olsen had his best year in TDs in 2009. Then after in 2010, you are correct, they traded him and used that pick and another to get Brandon Marshall. But when he got to Carolina, that's when he became a key player in the offense. So, you are right. Kinda.

If Young is transformative like Suh, then I agree. No trade

And we can make that happen IMO. There are a lot of TE's hitting the FA market. Plus I can see Rudolph being a cap casuality. Jacob Hollister (RFA), TE, Seahawks. Age: 26. Eric Ebron, TE, Colts. Age: 27. Blake Jarwin, TE, Cowboys. Age: 26. Greg Olsen, TE, Panthers. Age: 35. Jason Witten, TE, Cowboys. Age: 38. Tyler Eifert, TE, Bengals. Age: 29. Nick Vannett, TE, Steelers. Age: 27. Marcedes Lewis, TE, Packers. Age: 36. Blake Bell, TE, Chiefs. Age: 29. Charles Clay, TE, Cardinals. Age: 31. Dan Arnold (RFA), TE, Cardinals. Age: 25. Seth DeValve, TE, Jaguars. Age: 27. Nick O'Leary, TE, Jaguars. Age: 28. Ricky Seals-Jones (RFA), TE, Browns. Age: 25. Luke Willson, TE, Seahawks. Age: 30. Levine Toilolo, TE, 49ers. Age: 29. MyCole Pruitt, TE, Titans. Age: 28. Logan Thomas, TE, Lions. Age: 29. Daniel Brown, TE, Jets. Age: 28. Clive Walford, TE, Dolphins. Age: 28. Sean Culkin (RFA), TE, Chargers. Age: 27. Scott Simonson, TE, Giants. Age: 28. Garrett Celek, TE, 49ers. Age: 32. Darrell Daniels, TE, Cardinals. Age: 25. Ross Travis, TE, Jets. Age: 27. Anthony Auclair, TE, Buccaneers. Age: 27. David Morgan, TE, Vikings. Age: 27. Bradley Powell, TE, Bears. Age: 31.

My ideal scenario: I would love to get him...... as our #2. Obviously he would fit in, since he knows Coach Ron. But at his age, we may not be able to count on him as our #1. But what if we can get a boneafied top tier #1, via draft, FA or trade, to go along with him? All of a sudden Haskins will have speed in Scary Terry and Simms with power mismatches in TE1 and Olsen

Thank you for your reply. I don't follow college so I don't know who to best compare him to. Over the past 10 years, here are the DLinemen drafted top 3 over the past 10 years 2019 (2) Nick Bosa 2018 None 2017 (3) Solomon Thomas 2016 (2) Joey Bosa 2015 (3) Dante Fowler 2014 (1) Jadeveon Clowney 2013 (2) Dion Jordan 2012 None 2011 (3) Marcell Dareus 2010 (2) Ndamukong Suh (3) Gerald McCoy 2009 (3) Tyson Jackson Out of that group, Suh is the only one that transforms a defense. After that, I'd say the Bosa's are the next best (along with McCoy), as top tier rushers. I was just wondering if we could get something that gets us close (see, the Vikings scenario), while also addressing other areas.

What Offer Would Change Your Mind on Trading Down???

Dear Mr. Snyder: This is just a thought exercise, I am not suggesting we do this. So I was thinking, while it would be nice getting someone like Young to add to our already talented DLine, are we putting our eggs in one basket here? in 2013 Dion Jordan was a cant miss, blue chip, you take that guy prospect. While still in the league has has not produced at the expected level.... only 10.5 sacks on his career. We have quite a few holes to fill, and maybe it makes sense to take a shot gun approach. Trade down a few times AND trade for a player. Some teams are rebuilding and have a ton of draft capital. The Raiders have 2 first round picks. The Dolphins have 3. What if we traded down with one of them and picked up a second (to replace ours that we lost) and a 4th? THEN we address the TE position. This could go one of two ways: 1) Get a decent TE from a team desperate to shed cap space. I'm looking at the Vikings. What if we Swapped 1sts, took Rudolph AND Everson Griffen. He is a 13 million dollar charge to their cap and as I deailed before, they are 10 million over on their effective cap space. Its like sneaking in the Brock Oswiler trade into a deal for a TE, giving them relief while giving us another quality player on the line. If we do this, we still have a first round pick, although later, an additional 2nd, an additional 4th AND Griffen. 2) Trade the pick to a TE heavy team looking to get younger. I hate to say it, but this fits the Eagles to a T. They have two really, really good TEs. But their team is old and their GM i sunder fire to get younger. What if we then trade that pick for Zach Ertz? And you know what, I hope they say no, and then we say "ok, what about Dallas Gotert?" He's young, hes on his rookie deal, and last year he finished 9th in receptions, 10th in yards and 7th in TDs among all TEs. He could be a stud as the #1 TE and Philly would like it because they would see it like turning a 2nd round pick into a first round pick!! If we do this we then have Dallas Gotert, a 2nd and a 3rd. Young could be a HOF player. Or he could be Dion Jordan. Honestly, we should pull the trigger on him but if we don't, we really could fill out our team as I showed above.

Welcome to the NFL Dwayne Haskins QB Ohio State

When Alex Smith went down, I was destroyed. I thought we would be in QB hell for a long time. Who would have thought that in one year, we might actually be in the best QB position of the NFC East teams. Giants: Might be the closest to us with a rookie QB, but honestly, Haskins has looked better Eagles: Yeah, Wents is good, but he's always hurt and EXPENSIVE. Cowboys: Yeah, Dak is healthy, but he's average at best. Shut down Zeke and he can't beat you with Cooper, Gallup and Witten as weapons. Pathetic! And hes about to get really, really expensive lol!
  23. Kirk wishes he was Aaron. Hell, he wishes he was Case Keenum lol!
  24. Hi Mods.... I hope this is the right spot for this thread. Apologies if it isn't (I checked several forumns and didn't see it, so I hope its not a repeat either). I was going through our rivals Wikipedia pages to do some research and I found something interesting.... basically the Cowturds BLACKMAILED us into giving them a franchise. Their owner went behind our backs to buy the rights to our treasured fight song to get GPM to vote yes on an expansion team in Dallas. So my question to you is.... was it worth it. Should have GPM told the future Cowturds owner to "go pound sand" and vote no? Before you answer consider this: We changed the lyrics anyway. No more references to scalping. No more "Fight for old Dixie". What if we said no, then gave it a slightly different tune with the new lyrics. Then No Dallas and we STILL have our fight song!!
