Ron is sounding like a man who knows he’s done. That’s already filtering through the organisation IMO. Harris may need to act soon.
Personally, fire him now. Let EB or JDR finish the season. You get a look at EB (ya know..the guy who was too hard on players) you "tank" and get a high pick, trade assets NOW for DP's in 2024 (Young AND Sweat). play some young guys and see if there is a diamond there. Absolutely no downside set setting up for 2024 NOW. I can't watch Ron slowly dying on the sidelines..that is cruel.

He's just an observer. Dude doesn't do a damned thing.
Exactly..like I said..he doesn't even TRY to motivate from the sideline. He just has that blank stare that tells me nobody is home. Anybody EVER see him get angry..get in somebody's grill..JDR too..
I gotta tell you..I guarded my expectations the last 20 years...I honestly felt good about this team. THIS is the worst feeling going from a HIGH the 1st 3 games to seeing the total t*rd they put on the home field. Is it the coaches or the players...how could they be THAT Flat????
We need a Buddy Ryan clone...

IT is almost like this team has given up.

Will the Eagles lay a 70 burger on us to avenge for last years loss? They better strap on the helmets and get mean or it will happen.

Not bad for a OC calling his own plays for the first time...
Did anyone notice he made NO ATTEMPT to cover his mouth while calling in the plays!!! If opposing teams coaches do it all the time, there must be some merit in doing it. I assume a professional could read his mouthings and radio the calls in to the DC. I know the jargon is different buy if you have some tape from previous games and watch the play...you have a good idea!

It will be interesting to see if JDR stays with a majority of 4 man rushes or (hopefully) brings some blitzes to keep Allen off key. I think they can rattle Allen with pressure and make Cook beat you in the mud (which I know he can). Davis will HAVE to have a great game today...
Prediction- No clue what JDR will do to win this game. His D will win or lose the game.

How many QB hits did he take today? It seems he was constantly holding the ball to the last second and getting hit. I *know* the throws were accurate and he needed the extra time to deliver but that is too many hits for me. Playing catchup was part of it, I know so we have to not get behind and play that kind of ball to protect him. Just HOW we do that..I don't know..find a running game????

EAT THIS SNYDER!!!

The TE's need to catch the damn ball now..geez

You’re not getting a third for that dude. I’m thinking more like a sixth.
Then don't do it.....he's more valuable than a 6th to us

Cards were fired up. Had the TE not had the dropsies on that 2nd drive and we got momentum, the game would not have been close. Like Shane Falco said, quicksand is tough to dig out of...BUT..Howell made me believe. He kept his eyes downfield (a little too much) and would not waver. He had to have some after effect of that late hit...bell rung...had to.

The team as a whole has the "starts slow" stigma that we need to finally shake off. Fingers crossed for (truly) a new era in Washington.
I think that changes with Howell. Big arm and Killer attitude always looking downfield...not a "Captain Checkdown". Even if he's 50/50 on deep routes..it's like a punt on a INT and we expect the our defense to shut people down. So I expect some early long ball completions and short fields for Howell.

RG3 all over again..1st round hype..great 1st year..publicity/self adulation and over the top commercials, refusal to work withing a system that WORKED for them in the 1st year....what is with these guys??? Stupidity or just lazy?
