  1. Don't love the player but seems a great fit for both to be fair
  2. Really hope we don't end up taking Jones ffs
  3. Doesn't get much better than being a rookie QB playing under Shanahan in that good a team.
  4. I think you're right in theory but I don't think 99% of GM's would think that way tbh.
  5. Maybe but drafting Love is what pissed off Rodgers and made him leave. You kinda have to back Love for at least a season after that surely lol
  6. Long snapper. At least fill a need.
  7. Bit more hope of a QB falling to us if true
  8. Would absolutely love Fields to somehow fall to us. If not to be give me Owusu-Koramoah or Moehrig.
  9. Why do people automatically think this has to do with Scherff? Flowers plugs in at LG which was a problem position for us. Big upgrade. I like the move.
  10. Klopp terribly weak in his interview pre-match interview. Missing the point entirely by telling fans to get behind the team too. Seemed more angry at Leeds' t-shirts than the whole situation. Really poor.
  11. I'd much rather watch Burnley v Brighton in a game that means something than Arsenal v Leipzig in a dead rubber given there's no relegation. It's not about that though. These clubs still have fanbases and everything they dream of (ie getting into europe and competing against the best teams) is being torn away from them. It's a disgrace. The main thing is that these clubs aren't earning qualification on the pitch. They're earning qualification because they're rich and have the opportunity to only get richer. It genuinely sickens me to the core.
  12. Goes completely against the integrity of competition. Imagine if the NFL expanded the salary cap for only the 6 most profitable teams? How would that be fair on the rest? Premier League currently has Leicester and West Ham in the champions league spots. How is it fair on them to give worse run teams hundreds of extra millions to get back ahead of them? It absolutely stinks. It's embarrassing that the likes of Liverpool, Spurs, Arsenal etc would rather create a new competition that they're included in than concentrate on winning more games to get ahead of the likes of Leicester and West Ham who are taking chunks of their revenue by beating them.
  13. Jets finalised draft. #20 Jaelan Phillips, Miami, DE #23 Rashod Bateman, Minnesota, WR #34 Jaylen Mayfield, Michigan, OT #66 Jevon Holland, Oregon, S #86 Paulson Adebo, Stanford, CB #107 Jamar Johnson, Indiana, S #146 Demetric Felton, UCLA, WR #154 Victor Dimukeje, Duke, Edge #186 Darrick Forrest, Cincinnati, S Jets also gained: Chicago's 1st round pick 2022 Chicago's 1st round pick 2023 Chicago's 2nd round pick 2023 Houston's 2nd round pick 2022 Houston's 3rd round pick 2022 Houstons 5th round pick 2022 Still in an alternative universe, the Jets give their backing to Sam Darnold and gain a big haul instead of taking a QB early in order to continue the rebuild. Would've liked a QB to fall to me in the right spot but the value was never there. Also would have liked to address the O-Line more but I see the Jets as being solid in the tackle positions and Mayfield playing guard at the next level so should be ok. Delighted with the improvements made to the secondary especially which has been a car crash position in recent times for the Jets. Very happy overall. Also big thanks to @COWBOY-KILLA- for all the graft and @goskins10 for helping keep things flowing smoothly. Felt like one of the smoothest years yet with very few delays.
  14. The NY Jets select Darrick Forrest, S, Cincinnati
  15. The New York Jets select Victor Dimukeje, Edge, Duke @skinsfan57 OTC
  16. The NY Jets select Demetric Felton, WR, UCLA. He's definitely undersized and will probably be limited to only seeing the field on certain packages deployed as an RB or slot WR but god is he electric with the ball in his hands. Nice gadget piece for a Jets offence that's badly in need of a spark. @thelongestbreath OTC
  17. Well in that situation the trade would be veto'd though that's the point. There is consequences for each future pick traded too as long as when those who have given up picks state that at the end of the draft beside their list of drafted players. I just think 99% of trades done here are fair and realistic ones. We're basically scrapping trades because of one bad one a few years ago. Seems a bit OTT to me.
  18. Yeah true it could make things messy but the really big ones generally only happen within the first 10 picks anyway. It's generally plain sailing after that so I don't think it'd really delay much at all. No future picks just takes away from the process completely for me tbh. The more realistic we keep things the better.
  19. I think the way we have it this year is the best compromise tbh. Taking away future picks altogether makes it too unrealistic. I think maybe an option going forward would be to give teams unlimited ability to trade future picks but if say over 3 GM's deem a particular trade unrealistic there is an option to veto the trade.
  20. Can I send someone a shortlist so they can make my pick for me and I don't stall things? Live in Ireland so its 2.30am here!
  21. The NY Jets select Paulson Adebo, CB, Stanford
