  1. using vipbox. Awful quality put doing the job.
  2. Still think they'll be there. Would be absolutely delighted to be proven wrong though. Leicester are a decent side as well. Credit where it's due. What a signing Ulloa has been.
  3. With an attack that good I don't think a dodgy defence will hold them back too much. Like Liverpool last year.Agreed its too early for a real assessment but it's just what I'm thinking unfortunately.
  4. Hate to say it but Man utd look a lock For the top 4 this year. They've bought very well.
  5. I'm the ignorant one? This is an internet forum GHH all I'm doing is giving my opinion All Liverpool fans have this built in opinion that they're the best supporters the world has ever seen. I'm saying that is just simply not the case. Most non scouse football fans who watch English football outside of the 'Sky Generation' would back me up on this. Thats the truth. Ehh I don't think you understood what I was saying here.. It's pointless talking about quotes from Nedved, Del Piero etc. when they've not experienced the likes of Elland Road. Ferguson has so I think his opinion h
  6. I know exactly what I'm talking about. Anyone can play the throw out a quote game (also Del Piero, Nedved and Ballack have never played in Elland Road making that statement a bit less relevant) You said "But give us Utd or the Derby or a big European night, and there truly is NO place like it." Here's what Alex Ferguson said about that. A man who's witnessed both sets of supporters many times. Heres the link to that quote if you don't believe me http://www.dailystar.co.uk/sport/football/273597/Sir-Alex-Ferguson-Anfield-trip-not-worst Not sure if you've heard this but her
  7. Fratton Park and Selhurst Park are examples of places I've seen rocking in the Premiership in the past 5/6 years. We're going off the point a bit though. What you originally said was how nowhere compares to Anfield on a big European night. Elland Road definitely did in the big nights against Real Madrid, Valencia, Deportivo etc, although i've never experienced it first hand Dortmund looks insane on European nights as do a number of eastern european and even Celtic do it well when they're there. From my experience Anfield looks great before kickoff as ye belt out YNWA and wave your sc
  8. Having a big fanbase doesn't necessarily mean its a good one to be fair. Man Utd easily have the biggest fanbase in England but it doesn't stop Old Trafford sounding like a library most weeks. I'm talking in terms of passion, atmosphere etc. I know you've been lorded over the years for it but thats what happens with the big clubs. The media like to hype up the clubs with large fanbases, it sells. Ye haven't been copied on everything over the years either.. Tin hat on. I'm aware this won't go down well
  9. Think you're ever so slightly biased It's pretty clear for a big game in Anfield the day trippers get their scarves out, sing walk alone then stay pretty much silent for 90 minutes. Elland Road has inevitably lost a lot of its boom in the last few years but it'll get back to those heights when we make our return. This 'Liverpool fans are the best, nobody else compares' with all due respect, is total nonsense.
  10. Villa will do alright this year. I really rate Lambert as a manager They're organised so well that they won't concede enough to be out of games. Also Fabian Delph will be (already is) a fantastic player. Leeds bring them up well.
  11. For radio download the TuneIn Radio app. You can get ESPN 980 from there once you have an internet connection. Not sure on how to get a video stream though.
  12. Liverpool agree an 8.5mill deal for Remy, Leeds sell McCormack to Fulham for 11mill. Real Madrid sign Kroos for 20mill, Liverpool sign Lallana for 25mill. Transfer market makes very little sense these days.
  13. Serious buzz over here in Ireland for the McGregor fight. In fairness to him he's a smart man. Earned nearly every bit of this hype through simple talk. Sold out the O2 Arena over here in minutes and theres huge anticipation for it. Can only be good for the sport really. I've seen him a couple of times walking around Dublin. Supposed to be a genuinely nice guy. Hope he pulls through.
  14. This summer is reminding all too much of the summer of Roque Junior, Camara, Olembe, Domi, Sakho etc. No idea what could happen. 11million for Ross McCormack though. We've robbed Fulham there.
  15. Great question. Footballing giants of the Conference Premier. A division lower than the mighty Accrington Stanley...
  16. In non-world cup news, Leeds have just announced their new manager...Dave Hockaday who got the sack at Forest Green last season. Nothing surprises me with this club anymore.
  17. What we reckon for the world cup so lads? My prediction... Winners: Argentina Runner Up: Germany Golden Boot: Aguero Player of the Tournament: Messi I'm fully convinced this is the year Messi puts Argentina on his back and takes them to the final at least. If he wants to be in the conversation for the greatest ever he has to deliver. Personally think Spain have too many players passing their prime. The likes of Xavi and Iniesta aren't the same players as they were 4 years ago and I have worries about their central defence. Sneaky feeling Germany will beat Brazil in the semi's
  18. They are encouraged not to but if a judge can't separate the two fighters he can score a round 10-10. It's rare enough but there's no rule saying they can't do it.David Haye had the first two rounds down as draws last night. That's how close it was at times.
  19. Groves most dominant rounds were the 7th and 8th (till he got hit) though in my opinion. He may have been winging shots but he was having success in those rounds. Sadly left his chin open once and got tagged. The first 4 rounds were nearly too close to call. Felt Groves had a lot to give in the remaining rounds to be honest. Would have loved to see it go the full 12.
  20. Had it 3-3 with the 1st round being a draw going into the 8th. Gutted for Groves. He was going from strength to strength in that fight I felt but one sweet punch was the difference. Thats boxing though.
  21. Can't wait for it. My money is on a Groves win by decision but I dont really think anyone has a clue how it'll pan out. Hoping Groves does the business anyway.
