Paging Fred Goldman.... (he's still alive).

Is it any easier for the Goldmans to get their money now, from his assets, through the court system ?

Or is it still "protected" ?

Also, just realized it's interesting, it's been almost exactly 30 years, almost to the day.

Before looking it up to verify, I feel like the arrest happened around April of 1994

  2. I been getting what appears to be a glitch notice (probably triggered by my laptop issue, and not the site) when I try to sign in sometimes,

saying "You do not have permission to..."

So next time I get that, I can't get happy and assume it's a glitch, but rather it might be everyone's permanent response to sign-in attempts.

I would avoid jumping to too many conclusions regarding the ship. Yes it is certainly possible the ship had issues. But this also happened on a highly-maintained, billion dollar warship.

Someone brought up a good point earlier that was not followed up on, regarding barriers.

But my first question is, could a barrier be engineered to stop something like that from hitting the bridge.

Actually I don't think the barrier would necessarily need to stop the ship from hitting the bridge support completely.

Even if it crushed through the barrier(s), is it possible it could at least slow down the momentum enough so that the

force is not enough to collapse the bridge support ?

I hope you interrupted that act, and stopped them from re-producing.

Every little bit helps, from each of us citizens.

And you could take it a step further, by neutering/spaying them in the process.

I havn't been around much, so I don't know if it was discussed a lot.

But ever since we signed Ridgeway, and moreso now, I been wondering if they view him as next year's replacement for Payne, if he departs FA

I havn't watched him up close, so I could be wrong

With Heinicke official I will have to trust that the staff knows the vibe of the locker room and Sam Howell's readiness enough to make the decision to move to Heinicke. Hoping for the best.

Rick Walker said they'd lose the locker room if they started Howell.

John Keim said there's a significant gap between TH and Howell, and to "not even go there".

They're both right. It shouldn't even be a question.

    He's the #2 QB for a reason.

Even the most critical people towards TH, have said that at worst, he's a "high-end backup".

So, why pass on a high-end backup, for a super green rookie ?

  7. Interesting, the Packers, or at least their media, wanted to draft Jahan Dotson.

They lost Cobb for this game.

I bet they REEEAAALLY wish they picked Dotson now

Jahan Dotson Could Give The Green Bay Packers’ Passing Game An Immediate Lift

    "SCOUTING REPORT

Green Bay is desperate for speed, and Dotson had one of the fastest 40-yard dash times at the NFL Combine (4.43). That speed, combined with his terrific route running, allows Dotson to create natural separation with virtual ease.

Dotson’s hands are outstanding and he has a full highlight reel of breathtaking catches. After a one-handed catch against Ohio State in 2020, Dotson proclaimed, “I approach that (ball) as a million dollars. It's a million dollars in the air. If you want it, you go get it.”

Dotson’s versatility will be attractive to many teams. He can play X, Y or Z receiver, has lined up at running back and could be a star in the return game."

Yup, but somehow I always find it insulting, because we just plain suck :)

    Heck, we're gonna play Heinie...

    Remember that:

TD called back for giving up by diving?

Ugh, that was painful to watch.

I'll make up for that play, with this one from the same game...

  9. For our emergency 3rd QB, I think a good choice would be Carson.

    Carson Strong, that is.

By the time we get to our 4th QB, the season will be shot anyway. Might as well see if he can be a future backup.

Plus, he went through the Eagles entire Training Camp and Preseason, so maybe he can offer even a smidgen of intel

6 weeks saves the #2 pick.

    4-5 weeks does not...

    Unless I can't math properly.

I think it's difficult for anyone to estimate with accuracy, since it's based on snaps, not games.

And snaps can vary from week to week, depending on TOP, length of drives, etc.

For example, Wentz' snaps each game this season, have ranged between 57 and 77 snaps.

Six weeks is probably a close estimate, but remember it's just that - an estimate. It could easily vary by a game or  more.
