  1. I looked a few weeks ago and was surprised we don't have a CTE thread. It's a broad and potentially interesting. I just don't want to do it. I had a talk with my mom a bit ago discussing my "condition". I shared this with her. I'm on TBI #4, 2 were 'severe' 😂 *From government study
  2. I don't think he will be that blunt. He doesn't need to. I am SHOCKED though that we haven't had a legit attack on someone associated with the court yet.
  3. Fruit of the poisonous tree? Too soon?
  4. Yea. But you can make that statement about anything. I'm just saying Garland isn't as much to blame as others imply.
  5. @China let's see if this works. May take a few editing attempt but the tweets are numbered. Add: I want to emphasize that I don’t 100% agree with her. But she makes some very good points and cites facts.
  6. If you still can't find a way to read the thread, give me a thumbs down and I'll post the whole thing so you can read it. Then we can discuss. Is that fair?
  7. Not sure why you can't see it but the second thread is about 15 tweets that goes through it. Yes, technically the FBI Director falls under the AG but Biden had made clear he didn't want Wray fired because he was Trump's appointment. If you want to blame Garland, may as well blame Biden. And also the way our judicial branch is set up. Lots of blame to go around but if you wanted a more proactive AG, you need to look at the person who picked him. Blame Biden for anything at your own peril though.
  8. I'm waiting to see who's roster spot he takes.
  9. AG has done a few posts about blaming Garland you may want to check out. She doesn't say he is blameless, but a lot needs to be pointed at others and our system of "justice". This one is longer but does a good job of breaking it down.
  10. If he was capable of doing what was best for him, he wouldn't be in this mess!
  11. Thinking about going to the Nats/Os game in DC May 7 or 8. Game starts at 6:45. I've never been down there, what's the area around Nats park like post game? Safe? Fun? Thanks.
  12. Watched The Accountant last night because I saw they were making a sequel and never saw the original. Holy ****, that was bad! Why are they making a sequel?
  13. I'd start with something like 50 states based roughly with equal populations.
  14. Thanks. The broadcast didn't show a zoom in which surprised me. But it looks like Santander thought it was going out and turned away. It hit the top of the fence and bounced back in which then Mullens had to field it.
  15. Bottom of the 3rd 2 outs; did Santander pull up intentionally and goad the guy into trying home? Or did we just get real lucky?
  16. I never understood what we called people douche bags. I prefer to use the term douche nozzle.
  17. Yet for some reason changing the manner our votes count, which whether for good or bad reasons is the very basis for the design of our government, makes more sense than revisiting some arbitrary lines that were drawn before had any clue what physical size we'd become.
  18. I'd rather see a massive redrawing of state lines before a switch to just pure popular vote.
  19. Reading this thread reminds me why I don't bother participating in this conversation much. @tshile seems to be representing my general position pretty well himself. I just want to add one point; in the spirit of non-racist "states rights", i support states allocating their votes how they see fit. If the people don't like it, they need to affect that change.
