  1. How about a compromise name? One that will piss off a division rival AND fans at the same time? I propose:

    Washington Football Cubs

It's just enough like Washington Football Club to be a slap in the face to both fans who like AND hate the name. But at the same time, it'll make "New York Football Giants" somehow sound even more stupid than it is now. Plus people can't complain that it sounds like some stupid college team because it's already the name of a professional sports team.

It's not quite as bad as Wizards, but it's dumb enough to keep people angry for decades.

Hey, you're the one that wants your baby wolf support animal. Not us.

Speak for your ****ing self. I would love to have a support baby wolf. The fact that you don't makes you suspicious as hell.

he’s not acting like someone that realizes his administration is the last wall standing between American authoritarianism.

Because he doesn't believe it. It's really that simple. He's the guy who watched what the R's turned into while he was VP (or at least were much more willing to become vocal about their beliefs), and he still thinks that people like Mitt Romney and Liz Cheney are the "real Republican party" who believe in compromise and actually governing.

I know we just saw the epitome of what happens when someone with no experience takes over the highest office of the land, but now we're seeing the exact opposite: someone who has spent TOO much time in Congress holding that office. You served in Congress for what, 40 years or so? and this is the result. Biden served with some of these people. He's probably good friends with some of the people who publicly denounce him at every opportunity. He is either unable or unwilling to believe that these people that he worked with for so long really don't give a **** about him or their constituents as long as they can score imaginary points against him for opposing him.

At least that's how I see it. I could be wrong, but I don't know how else to think based on his words and actions.

I've often stated "Show me a Christian who insists on a literal reading of the Bible, and I will show you someone who has never read the Old Testament."

When people talk about the Bible insisting on putting homosexuals to death or some other crazy ****, I like to pose the following:

Here are 4 acts described in the Bible, and 4 punishments. Can you match the punishment with the sin?

    (1)Cursing one's father or mother.

(2)A woman stops a fight between two men by hitting or grabbing one of the men by the testicles.

(3)Lesbians aka "women who lie with women"

(4)Kicking a pregnant woman in the stomach so that she miscarries (primitive version of abortion, apparently)

Here are the punishments in order of severity (least to worst)

(A)Not allowed to serve as an archer in the army

    (B)Pay a fine

    (C)Have a hand cut off

    (D)Put to death

Added the letters and numbers to make it easier. But sadly I know the answers here:

    1-D

    2-C

    3-A

    4-B

What are the top 5 moments in U.S. history not usually mentioned in any U.S. history classes?  I would prefer racial history because of the impacts they may have on my kids as it is a part of their cultural history which I wasn't taught growing up.  However, I like history.  So I am curious what isn't taught.

3 race-specific events that occurred because "former" Confederates got mad that blacks had power and decided to do something about it:

    New Orleans Massacre of 1866:

    Colfax Massacre

    The Wilmington Coup/Massacre:

A couple that aren't race specific, but are class related so often intentionally overlooked:
    Haymarket Riot:

Coal Wars-specifically the Battle of Blair Mountain:

60% of cars searched by the dog.

They usually only bring out the dog if they have suspicion. And i guess 40% of the time they just want a BS reason to search your car.

100% of the time they want a BS reason to search your car. 60% of the time they either got lucky, or were able to fake enough evidence that it's the same thing.

  7. Got my 2nd dose 2 weeks ago, so I'm officially fully vaccinated! Feels so great mentally. I'm also still annoying the **** out of everyone I know to get shots, so congrats to everybody in here still getting their first or 2nd shot.

Did ratm and rtj announce that? I had enough friends going I was going twice... but wasn’t actually following it...

I was hoping to go see Rezz @ red rocks in September. I’ve got it all picked out and racked up so many travel points over covid it won’t even cost anything, but it’s looking like I’m scrapping it and looking for something else now. 🤷‍♂️

The show in Pittsburgh got moved to 2022, I just assumed it was the whole tour because it would be too late in the year to start it when everything opened up, but I don't know if it's everywhere or just the first % of shows?

Booking one for the end of summer

I'm really hoping Riot Fest (in September) doesn't have a push back to next year. Already lost Rage Against the Machine/Run the Jewels to 2022.

So I'm going to guess that we're not taking a QB. If we wanted one we wouldn't wait until the next to last pick. Pretty surprised that both Newman and Buechele are going to go undrafted most likely.

Next to last pick isn't the worst time to take a QB. If you want to make sure you get one and don't want to gamble on the UDFA market, that's about as close as you can cut it.
