  1. London or Dubai would be okay with me. Go away, DannyBoy. Go far away.
  2. Just drove to Potomac Shores for a soccer tournament. Can’t imagine making the drive on game days. Might as well go to Richmond. Done.
  3. If you're considering Club Level, one strategy to think about is contacting the team after the preseason games. I did that last year, and there was LOTs of availability. For example, section 302 (low level row) was offered for $1,999 per ticket -- 8 games. Why pay for preseason games when there are lots of club level options following the preseason?
  4. Ah ha -- That makes sense. Thank you!
  5. Anyone else sell tickets on the NFL Ticket Exchange this year? I sold my Eagles tickets last week (will be out of town in January). Since it's been a week since they sold and I haven't received payment, I started fishing around the website to see estimated payment times. The policy says payment is made 7-10 days AFTER THE EVENT DATE. Can this be right? Do I have to wait until mid-January 2022 to get paid? Talk about double-dipping for the team -- they have both my money and the purchasers money! If ever there was a reason to move to StubHub, this is it... Please tell me I've got something wrong here.
  6. What happens if my seats are in the first 8 rows? Do I have the option of a refund, or does the team just unilaterally move me? My decision to renew was based on seat location.
  7. They moved me to section 101 two years ago after I informed them I wasn’t renewing. I barely break even on the games I sell. Hard to believe it’s come to this. F. Danny.
  8. Exactly why I unload all of my tickets by May. Unfortunate and sad.
  9. I got a call and text on Friday asking if I really wanted to give up my tickets.
  10. Had 9 seats, only renewed 4. Sucked in for another year...
  11. For reasons I’ve never really understood, the secondary market is strongest when the schedule is announced and then again during the draft. An astute season ticket holder could sell the entire year during that window and then pick-up similar or better seats at a steep discount closer to game day.
  12. I was able to pick up 4 in section 101 late in the upgrade season. Demand is at an all time low.
  13. Times have changed a bit... By Thomas Heath Washington Post Staff Writer Thursday, February 10, 2005; Page D05 Washington Redskins fans who wish to vault over the 75,000 names on the waiting list for season tickets to obtain prime seats at FedEx Field for the 2005 season can pay $7,500 to join the team's new Touchdown Club, the Redskins announced yesterday. The Touchdown Club is Redskins owner Daniel Snyder's latest effort to increase the club's revenue. It is modeled after similar programs operated by the Philadelphia Eagles and Miami Dolphins and includes mid-field lower bowl seats as well as a catered pregame party, pregame field passes, parking and a trip to a Redskins game in either Philadelphia or New York. _____NFL Basics_____ • Scoreboard • Standings • Statistics • Team index • NFL Section "The purpose of this is to provide a variety of stadium amenities," said Redskins spokesman Karl Swanson. "We looked at the Eagles program, which is a success, and decided it could be adapted well for us." The Touchdown Club follows the lower-priced TailGate Club, which the Redskins started last season. The TailGate Club was criticized by some fans as a money-making enterprise that didn't live up to its billing. Some complained it was not worth the price. The TailGate Club includes a one-time initiation fee of $1,295, plus a $490 season pass for all 10 Redskins home games. In addition to lower-level seats, which are scattered throughout the lower bowl, TailGate Club members have access to a cordoned-off pavilion area just outside the stadium, where food is provided and fans can listen to music and watch wide-screen television. Swanson said the 150 Touchdown Club seats were taken from roughly 400 lower-level seats set aside for corporate hospitality. Under that program, groups of 20 or so fans can rent a corporate tent for around $20,000 per game, including lower-level, mid-field seats, pregame and postgame catered parties and other amenities. Swanson said none of the seats was subtracted from the general admission pool. Season ticket holder Alan Martin, a lawyer for the federal government, sits in the corner of the upper bowl and said he would love the opportunity to move lower. But he said the price of the Touchdown Club and TailGate Club is too high. "We like lower-level seats, but we're not going to pay for that kind of stuff," said Martin, contacted by telephone yesterday. "If I could get lower-level seats for a reasonable premium, I would take them. Dan [Snyder] is constantly thinking up gimmicks to make more money, but that's his business." Snyder has expanded the capacity of FedEx Field to 91,665, the most in the NFL. There are about 66,500 general admission seats.
  14. For the love of all that is good and holy, please please please also remove the “dream seats” - they ruin the entire 100 level.
  15. Dropping a pair in section 103. I’m done.
  16. Dude, protect your barcodes!!!
  17. Anyone want my seats for 2017? Section 103, row 25. Face value. PM me.
  18. Stubhub, day of the game -- $25.
  19. ...and yet, it takes less time than posting to this message board
  20. The offer I received was $1,999 per seat.
  21. Agree 100%. Club seats are always available. There is no point in buying them before the two preseason games.
  22. I'd be shocked if there is still a waitlist. Teams don't normally remove 20K seats if there is a multi-year waitlist for season tickets.
