  1. ^^ So you're the only one that drives the car that has a problem? But seriously, though, I hope someone is able to detect what the problem is. Like you, I know very little about cars, so I always feel like im getting hosed everytime I go to a dealership. Maybe you could start leasing a new car every few years? That way, the chances of something going wrong with it are pretty slim.
  2. Clown? That's a little harsh. Guys get injured. Its a part of the game. Why not just insert Kris Medlen in his slot? Hell Medlen has pitched pretty damn good in Jurrjens' absence. Better yet, is Tommy Hanson available?
  3. Don't sleep on the Braves, people. Halladay's perfecto is great and all. But the Phils got shut out by the Mets 3 straight games before that. Meanwhile the Braves have won 14 of their last 18, and are 18-8 in May. Just 1.5 games out, baby!!
  4. ^^ Dude, it probably wasn't repairable. And it doesn't take much to screw a bumper up. I'm assuming you're talking about a plastic one. The nice guy needs to man up and make you pay for a new bumper.
  5. ^^ That sucks. That guy was definitely colorful.
  6. Dude, I was sorta joking.:pfft: And yeah, my problem wasn't easy to dissect, given what information I gave. Its all taken care of now, though. No worries.
  7. No chance we get Gerhardt, bro. And don't insult me, by calling me a Mets fan. Braves for me. Yeah, I know, we suck so far.
  8. I find it amusing that folks haven't figured out yet that Bayless is a moron. He's also on the Tebow bandwagon. Go figure. He's entertaining. But he's way off on alot of stuff. Sometimes I think that is by design.
  9. Well supposedly the issue is the cam crank sensor. Gonna cost me a pretty penny. Edit: They also found a leak with my radiator. Just great.
  10. Its actually my gf's car. So im not sure when she last had them changed. But don't the Maximas around that year have those expensive ones that you don't change that often?
  11. On my way home from work last night, I was stopped at a redlight. All of a sudden, I noticed my car had cut off. I look at the dash and I noticed the oil light, as well as the check engine light were on. So anyway, I try and start my car. It wouldn't start. I wait a few seconds and try again. This time it starts up (hesitantly). I then proceed home, which was less than 5 minutes away. On the way home, the car seemed to drive normal. And there were no oil light or check engine lights lit up. I get home, and pull it into the garage. I checked the oil. The oil level appeared normal. Also, I had my oil changed at the dealership about a month or so ago. And I noticed that when they were putting the oil in they must have spilled some, as it was sprayed all over different parts of the engine. Not sure if that matters or not. Does anyone have an idea of what my problem could be?
  12. I was just about to post this! ...Same ole sorry ass Pirates.:pfft:
  13. I don't play fantasy games where there are drafts. Can't stand them. I play in one over at espn. I was one of the top players in it the first week until the Braves lost 17-2 last Monday. (had the Braves pitching staff)
  14. I just added him to my fantasy team. Only thing is, that doesn't take affect until Monday.
  15. If you would have seen the catch the Rockies CF made late in the game you would have really appreciated this one. I'm a Braves fan. But you have to tip your hat to Jimenez tonite. He was awesome. Still was throwing 98 mph to the last batter! And don't be fooled by the 6 walks. He was in complete control in this one. The walks never really came close to hurting him at all. *A sidenote. I actually picked the Rockies over at SFTC. And I've never once gone against the Braves.
  16. Just messin with ya, man. *I would take Hanson over him any day.
  17. From the time he first was with the Yankees to this go around are too entirely different circumstances. Then, he was one of their main guys, if not their ace. The stage did seem to big for him at the time. However, he's now the Yanks' 4th starter. There's not near the pressure on him, as before. You're jumping the gun here. Like you already stated, its been one start. Relax. If at the all star break, he's 4-8 or something, then you can let loose.
