  1. Did @Skinsinparadise or anyone else watch the interview between Logan Paulson and Adam Peters that’s in the Commanders Dan Quinn Welcome video?

When Logan asked Adam about the process for hiring Quinn’s staff his answer sounded like a confirmation to me that Quinn had a staff list, but it is also being supplemented by others/Adam in a collaborative process.

It made me think of Keims cadence and tone when talking about Chip Kelly being in the mix but probably not the ultimate hire. I wonder if guys like Fleury were added to the list by Adam but still mutually agreeable with Quinn given the shared connection to Kyle.

Remember when all the tough 1/6 rioters started crying about how awful prison was?

    I expect that x 100000 with trump

although dude eats fast food on the reg so maybe he won’t have complaints about the food.

Jail has worse conditions than most prisons and federal prisons sometimes have good commissary's. Alexandria's jail food sucks, but it has okay commissary. PWC sucks for both and down in Southern VA like Central Regional Jail in Orange County the breakfasts are like cracker barrel quality but everything else is a hillbilly hellscape where you gotta fight mother****ers for basic **** like toilet paper, bed sheets, and pillow cases.

  3. My wife and I use Zig Zag ultra thin rolling papers. We just get the 900 count box every 3 or 4 months.

I haven’t smoked a blunt in over a decade. One of my grow homies, sent me some Virginia gold tobacco seeds though (I think that’s what their called). He grows and makes his own tobacco wraps.

Trying my hand at growing clones. Pretty cool to have arguably some of best plants ever in my garden. Some of these clones come from plants that are over 20-30 years old.

  4. I don't know why people are so depressed or whatever about Stromberg's camp. From what I've heard recently from Logan Paulson, he's been working with the 2's and the 3's, switching back and forth with Tyler Larsen. Larsen is physically stronger than him right and did a decent job for us when he started, but Stromberg is still pushing him. Give the kid some time to get stronger.

  5. It was interesting hearing Logan Paulson go into some detail on the struggles of the o-line earlier this week. S. Charles has been getting his ass kicked by J. Allen, but he’s specifically struggling with twists and stunts because he wasn’t being aggressive enough with his punches. This matches with my pre nfl evaluation of Charles which was high athletic upside, but his hands and feet aren’t in sync and he is passive at the point of attack. His style is more to absorb a defender rather than use his hands to disrupt and gain leverage.

Chris Paul isn’t as athletic as Charles, but he’s more aggressive and consistent.

  6. I feel optimistic about our team being improved and having a much better season even if it’s not necessarily equating to a much higher win total.

The bar is so low at qb and center from last year and they have both been shored up from starters to depth. We look like we finally have a secondary that can compliment our d-line and as low as everyone is on our LB’s they will still be better than last year because Holcomb missed most of the season.

We have a much friendlier and capable offensive system for all players. An emphasis on screens, 3 and 5 step drops instead of 7 step shot plays all the time. Nuanced details applied to plays that engineer easier reads and throwing lanes. An offense actually tailored to our players strength and weaknesses instead of this static plug and play bs.

I also think our defense started slow these past seasons because our offense was so mediocre and easy to figure out. They are getting tested earlier and they will benefit from joint practice with the ravens.

  7. We really could have used that third round pick from the Wentz trade to have picked up more o-line like Wanya Morris. Hopefully, there are some decent post draft cuts we can look through. I really do think we will see an improvement from last year, but the bar is so low when you go back and look at the games Doug Martin or Schweitzer started for us at center.

Here's how I see our o-line compared to last year.

    • Upgraded center and center depth (Chase barely played and who knows what toll his injuries have taken on his athleticism and ability to anchor)
    • Upgraded right guard if Cosmi can stay healthy and marginally better depth when he doesn't.
    • Hopefully marginal improvement at left guard at least athletically
    • More consistency at right tackle
    • Same left tackle, but more wear and tear?
    • QB with faster release
    • Much, much better protections and play-calling from EB over Turner.

  8. In 2012, I was in Costa Rica and working on self-development and healing depression/trauma through meditation and studying neuroscience. While working through some heavy stuff, I came to a deep realization that I was both myself and everything around me. That I/We realization caused something to click inside me and gave me crazy sensitivity and synesthesia, followed by waves of pure euphoria, better than any kind of drug I've tried before.

All day, the euphoria kept building and building, feeling like black chains of liquid pleasure wrapping all around my body. It started affecting my mind and behavior, and then it started effecting the people and especially women around me. Pure pleasure was radiating and leaking out of me and women who became aware of me started responding to it as well in strange ways. While at lunch, I locked eyes with a waitress and my mind started creating this picture of us walking towards each other and smoothing into each others arms and when I came too, everything I'd imagined was actually happening. It was so amazing/crazy that I had to pull away, while doing my best to play it off because I was worried about getting her in trouble at work and I didn't want to violate my marriage.

The attention felt like I'd become a super model, but the pull I was creating was deeper and more primal. I kept having to avoid creating these moments of connection or push away the impulse to seduce random women at the airport. The female guard searching me kept running her hands over my body, then while waiting to board this woman left her husband and started hitting on my dad and then this one guy who looked a little off/disabled started freaking out and had to be handled by security. All the craziness was stressing me out so I did my best to contain everything going on inside me and control myself till I got back home.

After the day was finished, much of the euphoria and stuff started calming down, but something had forever changed inside me. It's been over 10 years now since that experience and ever since, I feel a constant charge of electricity all over my body. Like when I touch my skin, I feel conductivity first, then skin. But, I can also read the charge via interoception and create micro push/pull force with it. For 5 years I've been dealing with terrible physical injuries and nerve damage from a weight lifting accident that doctors can't fix, but I have almost fixed it myself with this ability I gained and the hours of work I've put into developing it.

  9. Y’all know there is a difference between being a racist and having racial prejudice right?

Racial prejudice is your brain being dumb and making snap judgements based on the immature bull**** internalized from society and can be improved by practicing what MLK preached and that’s judging people based on character. I mean actually practicing how to identify character and re-wire your brain to respond to character based emotionally competent stimulus rather than the low hanging fruit of skin color and stereotype.

A racist is a dunning Kruger who is too dumb to know their brain is being dumb and builds a whole belief system and identity around myopic racial prejudice that is anchored in a false sense of superiority.

so you can add npr politics team and Nate silver to the list of people saying what I was saying immediately following the election

drill down and you find it’s not republicans policies that lost elections - its ****ty trumper candidates that lost

this is great news for republicans. It’s not great news for democrats. They prefer to believe it’s policies that won them the day, and don’t want to even toy with the idea that if non-****ty candidates were run they’d have lost more races.

This is myopic as ****. Why can't it be both? Are you really trying to say policies around abortion or cutting SS, didn't have a negative impact for the GOP? Or the student loan forgiveness wasn't a positive policy for Dems galvanizing the younger vote?

    Everything is a mixture.
