Eh, this conflicts with Keim’s latest pod with JP. They were both talking about Garret Wilson in the first round and said Ron and Co. are not opposed to adding more talent at WR. I’ll go with them over Sheehan.

Yeah, I didn't mean to imply I thought Melton was undervalued, only that he had bad QB play in Vederal and Sitkowski the past three years, so it opens up that possibility.   The majority of athletic players that failed to put up a lot of college production won't be good pros.   However, sometimes the player is pretty good despite their lack of college production.   For example Stefon Diggs played with below average QB's at Maryland and it hurt his production (along with some minor injuries).   He fell to the fourth round.   I don't have enough technical knowledge to really evaluate receivers, but you can find guys undervalued because they didn't put up a ton of college production due to things that were beyond their control like poor QB play.

One thing that leans me more towards the positive on Bo, regarding his poor QB play is that he had double the amount of production compared to any other receiver on his team. He made the most of the cards dealt his way and when you factor that on top of his high athleticism and technical skill from releases, to head fakes, and ball tracking/control he comes across more so as a potential diamond in the rough.

  3. Here is another sleeper I think you all would like that kind of fits in the Deebo Samuels role. He’s got a great release game and that’s huge for transitioning quickly into the NFL, plus he runs a 4.34 and has a sub 7 three cone.

Davis takes the Collins role. Muma is a green dot MLB. Th he guy he replaced 2 years ago, is having an awesome career with the Bengals and mums is better.

I was listening to Jim Nagy from the Senior Bowl and from talking to people around the league, he unfortunately thinks Muma won’t be available at 47. The success of Wilson and the fact that he’s a similar mold with a better athletic profile have people taking notice.

Has anyone looked into D’Marco Jackson as our MLB? I love his intensity and his ability to click and go. No hesitation in his game, he reads well, runs a 4.55, and is smart as hell. He’s already working on his MBA.

Thanks for posting this. The main takeaway from this article was the below imo.

    Quote

Cap space isn’t an unsolvable issue for the Commanders. With the $7m available after adjusting for Deshazor Everett and $13m from a simple restructure of our new starting quarterback’s salary, the team could enter free agency with $20m in available cap space, which wouldn’t be so bad.

That is not how I took it nor do I think how it was intended. At all.

commentary on the world on general not her specific view.

Most people unconsciously project their personal beliefs when speaking in generalities. You can think what you want but I’m not giving her the benefit of the doubt and she argues in bad faith so I sure as **** am not trusting whatever her clean up explanation might be.

There has been a lot of people unconsciously telling on their prejudices or degree of racial apathy with this conflict.

I think you are misunderstanding the posts.  The original point was regarding a comment about this being the first war covered on social media.  I posted a tweet about wars being on social media for the last decade.  There is debate about whether wars in places like Syria “count”.  Some think Syria wasn’t as “popular” on social media because it was a civil war.  I, and I think Cowgirl, are claiming the real reason is because society cares less when the war is between non-white people.

You are right that the racial apathy is disgusting.  But that wasn’t meant to mean we are apathetic towards it personally but that society in general is.

The way i took it was she was saying/admitting racial apathy was her reason and then she projected that apathy onto the rest of the US with the “we” talk. I took it as a Freudian slip.

I think this right here is the main difference.

I can’t quote cowgirl because I have her on ignore. But damn, the racial apathy she just admitted to is disgusting. Do y’all really just give less of a **** for people who don’t look like you? Maybe it’s because I’m mixed with so many things but I can’t fathom being apathetic because of race. I can be callous towards people for hollow character, but this racial callousness is deeply disgusting and disturbing.

And who's responsibility is it to indoctrinate (inspiration) and enforce (punitively) these values/principles/ideals?

    Parents, business, the state?

Each of those are rabbit holes.

Everyone who has a shared interest in progress and the maintenance of civilization, those who have developed and matured and reflected on those harvests of self-individuation, internalize and become bastions for these truths by what they accept and reject in the world. What they choose to support and what they don't, whether that comes in the form of soft boundaries or harder ones, codified into law.

The success and failure of how humans understand and apply these truths are happening in real time. We're all supposed to internalize it, because it makes the most sense and leads to the best and most fulfilling kind of life. Why wouldn't you want that unless you are unhealthy and your chemistry is off? And if so, there are ways to help you change and get healthier, or if not, contain/exile you (jail), or destroy you if you care so little for what is around you and become destructive/cancerous.

In a way you are basically asking, where are the leaders? Or who should lead? The plan is for us to grow into a nation of leaders. Well... that's the best plan.
