  1. I know this. That's probably why I already said that I know this.
  2. Remember those earlier posts about him being the greatest rookie of all time? Well, if you use assists...
  3. Oh, and thank you, Mr. Referee, for a truly terrible goal tending call.
  4. There are other players on the court that affect who wins. But yes, David might have been better than John Wall. We'll have to see how Wall does from here on out.
  5. The Bullets did, though. Well, at least the trophy. Not so sure about the cup. Well done, sir. I said "might." :pfft: Okay, just know that nobody else is.
  6. Seriously, John Wall might be the best rookie of all time. I'm not even kidding.
  7. Damn. I was hoping Cuban would win and turn them into a circus. Oh, and anyone hear A-Roid talk about his home run after the game? He said he had talked with "the captain" the night before, and had decided to just try to get a base hit. "The captain" being Derek Jeter. They've been on the same team for how many years now? Who the hell talks like that? Does he seriously not refer to him as "Derek," or at least "Jeter"?
  8. I need to remember this for our Giants games this year:
  9. :rotflmao: :rotflmao: That's hysterical, TEG.
  10. I'm a pro-DH guy myself, despite the fact that I was "baseball homeless" until the Nats came to town, and thus have paid closer attention to the NL. I don't care if having pitchers bat adds to roster management strategy, watching NL offenses struggle through their pitcher spot every couple of innings isn't fun. It's the exact opposite of fun. I mean, hell, we could outlaw the forward pass in the NFC to make things more challenging for offenses in that conference, but it would be boring as ****.
  11. I don't know what's reviewable in hockey, I just like their process.
  12. I'm thinking baseball would be best served using hockey's system. A live feed from every game is watched by officials at MLB headquarters, and they can instantly signal the umps at any game if there's a major call that needs to be reviewed. There'd have to be an arbitrary definition of what a "major" or "game-changing" call would be - I don't think you could ever include balls and strikes, even for an extra-innings game in the World Series - but I'd rather see something like that implemented than NFL-style challenges. (I think I'd like to see both pro and college football use the NHL system, too. The biggest problem would be the speed of the game. Teams can hustle to the line and get the next play off in a matter of seconds. Questionable calls in hockey and baseball generally involve a bit more lag time.)
  13. That's one of the damnedest shames I've ever seen.
  14. Man, what's happened to Philly's offense?
  15. Might have spoken too soon on that one.
  16. Well done, Mark. This should definitely be stickied.
