    Ha, those look like absolute trash to me now, but when I had them in elem school I thought they were the best joints around. In hindsight, I guess it's no real surprise that FILA never became a bigger brand...

    I think a lot of the concern about Wall comes from the fact that sometimes he just doesn't look like he knows what he's doing. Too often he doesn't seem to be in control (whether it be himself or his team.)

    The problem for me is that I wasn't encouraged at any point by his play. Iman was locking up stars this past season...Singleton didn't even strap mediocre guys up. But, here's to hoping he shows something this season...

    I guess the most disappointing part is that he was supposed to come in to the league with the ability to guard 1-4. All the draftniks talked about how good of a defender he could be from day one. I get that it takes some folks more time than others to adjust to the NBA game, but I wouldn't say that his performance last year was promising.

    Ha...I thought we'd gotten a steal based on Singleton's draft projections. Hopefully, he'll at least improve defensively this season.

    Shumpert was taken right before Singleton...but, I agree with you. I saw nothing to be excited about from Singleton last year. I was disappointed by basically every aspect of his game... I haven't completely written him off yet, but he's not one of the guys that I'm looking forward to watching this coming season...

    They asked Singleton. He said he would go with Harri Barnes "We feel like he can play the 2 or the 3, and that's what we need help with," says Singleton. "We know he can shoot, and with the Wizards being more of an open offense, people can't focus on him; he'll fit right in with us." (Barnes scored 17.1 ppg and shot 36 percent of 3-pointers.)

    I remember reading that the Wizards were a team that thought Harri Barnes could play the 2...maybe he's the choice if Beal is off the board. Not a big fan of Barnes at the 2...

    Okay, so all we need to do is find a way to get A. Davis, Barnes and Thomas Robinson in the draft. All problems solved, right?

    It would be interesting what they would come up with to modernize the Redskins look...But I wouldn't be for any kind of Arena League type of uni change... They probably could make some cool looking jerseys if they used black/burgandy/gold...
