For the record, Ekeler sucked last year. Let’s hope he plays better.

Staley had Nathaniel Hackett vibes as a head coach- the whole team played like trash.  Love Eckler as a situational back (potential starter) and he's going to teach our young backs how to improve their game and careers immensely.

Him and Terry gonna be BFFs - I'm calling it right now.

  2. Just peeped Panthers' message board and their fans are definitely more miserable than us right now 🤣

The Frankie thread is exploding and everyone is super pissed they didn't match our offer - Makes me super stoked about the signing

He’s lost his long speed and some of his quicks, but he can catch the damn ball out of the backfield like no one’s business. And I assume he can pass protect. And he doesn’t give away the play at the GL if you decide to have him in, he’s been a TD hound in his career. He’d be a nice checkdown for Maye imo, at the right price

Not only that- he's an insane asset in the leadership department.  Not many vocal leaders on this team and the only way to usher in a new regime/culture is with guys who can connect with everyone on both sides of the ball.  He's a role model, super popular, and one of the hardest working dudes in the NFL.

You put him in a Chris Thompson-type role, and he's gonna be a great compliment to BRob/Rodriguez at a much lower price-point than guys like Saquon/Jacobs/Jones/Henry

Also- I'm back on hillbilly island and have internet TV, not NFL network. Anywhere I can watch the combine?

Google “NFL Hunter” click on “NFL Network” then “Link 3” then close out all the annoying pop-up ads. Its working great 👍🏻

I’m really impressed by Penix. We know Williams will be off the board quick… but if Penix is there I’d think long and hard about it. If not there will be offers and I’d think about those, too. Trade back + Fuaga?

Lots of good options as long as we don’t **** it up.

If we go this route I’m definitely hitting up @Jumbo to change my name to PenixEnvy

  6. No team in the league will give up anything higher than a 3rd and maybe toss in a JAG player or late pick for Chase right now. We have zero leverage and he’s a super high risk/reward guy for anyone that signs him long term.

Tez could potentially fetch a 2nd from a contender (that will look more like an early 3rd) looking for that extra ‘push’ into the playoffs but that also seems kinda far-fetched.

I personally think all this leaked stuff in the last few hours feels alllll too familiar. No one in our front office has a relationship with anyone else in any other building, so they pathetically dribble out “rumors” last minute as a way of communicating with the rest of the league (and fans) like “heyyy I’m still here- please notice me!”

We all know the trade window will close, nothing will happen- Chase will walk and have 22 sacks next season for the Lions, Curtis Samuel will have 1900 yards for Dolphins, and Barton well… Barton will be a a fairly decent special teams gunner somewhere

  7. @SkinsFTW Man I’m so sorry to hear that you and your family are going through all that. I flew into town this week to see my Uncle who was blindsided by Stage 5 pancreatic cancer a few weeks ago.  There is only bad news right now and things have gone downhill quickly— HOWEVER he’s still got the same sense of humor and inner personal strength that you seem to have.  Y’all are the type of the people that miracles are made of man. Keep fighting that fight baby!

Now, I’m going to briefly weigh-in on my experiences with ketamine for those who are unfamiliar with the drug in social

    settings.

First off, I’m 37- about to get married this time next year and have mostly left my 3-day benders in the rear-view mirror (with exception of certain exceptions 😏) but K has never been my personal thing.  Try too little and it dulls the buzz from booze- try too much and you are seeing polygons + prisms refracting on the floors/ceilings and nothing you say sounds as cool outloud as it did 5min ago 😂

It’s pretty popular in NYC with the House music/Burning Man/underground

club crowd- but it’s definitely not considered a “young person” drug of choice that college kids/posts grads are out there clamoring for at downtown hotspots.

I mention all of this because I was super surprised when I read the reports that Dwayne had K in his system.  It’s definitely not something that I think would be on the radar for most 25 year old NFL athletes. I would be totally shocked if any of his teammates were sniffing/supplying ketamine- so I’m over here stuck with a lot of questions about the girl that he left

    in the car…

Either way, I feel terrible for his family and also grateful for the fact that no one else lost their lives during that horrifying and preventable situation.

  8. My gut (and his former coaches at DeMatha who I've know my whole life) tell me that he loves football.  Like, really loves football.  Anybody who follows this team and thinks otherwise is a total clown in my opinion.

I'm as frustrated as every one of you by his on-field performance, but let's not forget how much worse it felt when ST21 was getting booted from rookie symposiums/arrested/skipping offseason-workouts/etc.  Even when all of that **** was going down, it was plain as day (to me at least) that he loved the game.

This kid deserves some time to mature as a professional athlete regardless of where he was drafted overall.  Imagine trying to realize your full-potential in an organization that doesn't even have a team name and has league/federal investigations pending 😅  Who even WANTS to be the face of all that?

Chase, Go GET that MONEY and bounce before your soul/talents get crushed into a fine powder and added to the 12-Gallon 18K Gold URN in Snyder's office that holds the ashes of all his player's careers.  And, Please take our friend Terry with you before it's too late.

A Jailbroken Firestick is your answer.  One time purchase, no monthly fee (unless you add programming) and you can watch any game you please.  Honestly works great.  look into it.  You don't have to do it yourself as you can purchase them already ready to go.  As a side benefit you can watch all the movies, or basically, anything you want, anytime.

My buddy just sent me one in the mail last month... It's a game-changer for sure.  Every PPV fight, Sunday Ticket, 24/7 channels( that include Simpsons, Seinfeld, Always Sunny and hundreds more) just running episodes with no commercials all day, and not to mention HUNDREDS of Adult channels for the wife.

So curious if you guys who play FF think Brown could end up relevant this year? Reports seemed positive of the chemistry with Fitzmagic...thoughts on his upside/production this year?

I think Brown might have some big games early in the season while Samuel's recovers from injury.  They don't seem to want to rush #10 back too soon, so I see Dynamo doing some damage until he returns.  From there, his Fantasy-value will be a Desean Jackson boom-or-bust situation.  I have a feeling that he will start the season really strong, slow down a bit from weeks like 3 to 10, and then just come shooting out of a cannon to end the season.

I would say he's not a dude you draft right away... But when you crack open a brew after your draft is complete and immediate realize that you drunkenly drafted 5 tight ends (again!) and there might be someone sweeter in the FA pool... Dyami could be a sneaky move.   Really all depends on the health of our receiving core as a whole, but #2 is going to get his chances.

The Landon hate really displays how bad our fanbase can be. Landon is an above average safety and an enforcer. He isn't a perfect NFL player therefore he has weaknesses, but if he's played to his strengths, he's a well-documented effective player. Why does he get the flak for being overpaid? The one who cut the check deserves all the blame on that one.

The Landon "hate" really only fired up recently when the perception became that he was unwilling to switch to LB if asked.  (All we can really go off of is that he tweeted "Not Happening My Guy" in response to someone online asking if he'd be switching to linebacker.)  Truth is, the guy is going to play wherever JDR tells him to play and great coaches will come up with their own name for a position to make the player feel special.  "Hey #20, you're gonna go in there as a TigerNinjaHammerHead in this particular package.  You up for it??"

*Sidenote... Didn't know about the 3 baby mama's all within a week or so-- or that he suggested to one of them that she apply for food stamps for their son.  Hope he has grown (outside of football) since those times and those kids feel loved/appreciated by their pops.

  12. I'm of the opinion that Vrana's off-ice behavior had a lot to do with his consistency issues. A few months back, I was Face-Timing with this girl (my buddy was hooking up with her at the time) who "hangs out" with a ton of different DC athletes.  (Yes, she was a total smokeshow!)

Anyway, she was telling me how much Vrana and another young talented player with consistency issues who I won't name here (should be pretty obvious) both absolutely love their cocaine.  From the sound of it-- they both go pretty hard on the booger sugar.  She told me some pretty wild stories about away games that made me nervous about both of these guys' long-term futures.

Perhaps the organization caught wind of some of these activities and decided to move forward?

Wonder if Detroit would take our 3rd round pick we got from SF for Kenny Golladay? He's only 27, is 6'4 and would be incredible to put next to TMac. If they didn't I would trade them our 2nd for him for sure. Look at the difference Stefon Diggs made for Buffalo and they paid a fortune to get him. This move seems like a no-brainer unless your worried about Golladay's injury history.

Golladay is an unrestricted free agent so the Lions won’t get anything from him unless they Tag-N-Trade.  In the event that they did this, I would assume they’d be looking for a late first or a 2nd + 3rd.

I’m more of a Marvin Jones Jr guy for this team. He’s got size, speed, jump ball skills, and he’ll come relatively cheap.  Draft one of these blazing slot WRs in the draft, and all of a sudden you have a very dangerous WR core.

They once won Super Bowls, now they celebrate plays during games in which they actually lost. 😂

  15. Admittedly, I'm not @KDawg when it comes to evaluating OL.   Instead of wasting my time watching tape on Charles, I've been trying to catch some interviews in order to figure out who the guy is.  I even went on LSU message board soon after the draft to try and get more intel on why he slipped.  (My verdict from them was that they pretty much supported Saahdiq 100%, but also came off too Homer-ish on EVERY THREAD/TOPIC for me to take anyone seriously.)

According to Tigers' fans, his suspension was because of weed.  He wasn't suspended 6 games in a row... He basically seemed to only get benched against non-SEC teams.  This makes me think the big article that came out citing an "anonymous team source" was absolutely on point.  Sounds like the guy was letting down his coaches frequently and the suspension wasn't due to one incident.

In terms of the interviews I've watched... And I hate to say this... Charles kinda reminds me of myself when I see him give certain smirks while answering.  (I'm a 35 year old partyboy who prolly coulda been Trey Quinn 1.0 if not for the latenight fiascos.)  Hopefully I'm completely wrong and he learned from his mistakes.

Last note:  When it comes to Trent... It kinda irks me when people think that a guy like TW is approaching the end of his career at 32.  My buddies and I all agree that he's got at least 4 good years left in the NFL.  If guys like Donald Penn/Jason Peters can rock it out into their near 40's, TW has a few more pro bowls in him for sure.

Sucks we lost him the way we did, but Charles high-ceiling is nice consolation prize to look forward to.

You should come to Redemption. It's a Skins bar at 53rd and Second. Every (Regular Season and Playoff) game it's the only game. About 100-120 of our Skins brothers and sisters going nuts I come in every week from Long Island.

p.s. forgive me if you already know about it.

Redemption is an AWESOME time!  I only went once a few years back and some made friends that I still have today.  Will shoot you a private message during the season when I'm out that way brother!

I've been living overseas for several years and have never had any problem finding a link to any game I wished to watch live.  I've posted links here each year and if you search my link for the reddit forum for NFL streaming links you'll find them a few hours before game is broadcast.  Also, if you have KODI there are plenty of resources to watch all games live without spending an arm and a leg for DTV. Now, I used to pay a truck full of dollars for DTV Sunday Ticket too.  Not anymore.

You're a beast Shredder!  I'm up in NYC and went a little crazy last year.... I bought a VPN package (PureVPN, which I still own and highly recommend) and NFL Gamepass Europe (which actually streams regular season games) but the feed was garbage.  You started posting these reddit streams and they are FULL HD at 60fps with zero lag.  Unreal.  Thanks homie.
