  1. KC has officially signed with Vikings. Does that mean he'll finally come off my Skinz B/R feed?
  2. I guess you saw something in KC that read franchise savior. Because for all the shade you keep throwing at Alex Smith I'd of thought Kirk was taking us to the promised land every year. Check his stats, they declined every year he was here. Heck you could even say at one point he put up numbers like Jared Goff did this season. Of wait, that's right McVey isn't calling the plays. Maybe you miss the games where he'd choke consistently against the NYG. Hey remind me of the game where Kirk came out on fire and put a team away early as opposed to stuffing the stat sheet the entire second half because he couldn't get it going in the first half. This revisionist history where KC was elite enuff to carry a team or elevate team play enuff to win in his own division is funny. Can't break the bank on one dude then talk about how badly he needs help.
  3. It's a loose loose scenario ?% of the time with some ppl on here. All this complaining about BA making all these bad personnel decisions. We picked up a QB with a better career record for less money. Most would even say equivalent QB's. I guess I'm one of the few that got tired of watching KC finish the season w/ a horrible loss to a divisional foe. The only team on the division he had a winning record against was Philly. Heck, he's still third at best in the NFC North behind GB and Detroit. Jury's still out on Chicago. The same ppl who are complaining we aren't making enuff moves or are waiting on BA to make a bunch of bad moves forget that keeping Kirk wouldn't have allowed us to make any moves. Board starting to feel like ppl only wanna ***** and gripe. Their only concern is what can they complain about next. Might have to take a break from this self induced hysteria.
  4. As far as dallass not really. Dez's star had burned out. Last season showed Dak isn't Romo and had a long way to go to get there. Load the box and force Dak to beat you with his arm. That's alotta money for a WR that can't take over a game.
  5. Dude is a beast, but that's cancelled out by his bone headed stupid plays that loads to suspensions.
  6. So, do we make a run at Poe? Not interested in Suh and thinking S. Richardson is out range for us.
  7. I think Roullier did pretty as a rookie on a makeshift offensive line. He def wasn't the weak link. An off-season to get stronger and he's got game action under his belt. I say pencil him at starter.
  8. If you're not gonna try to keep Brown then you might as well bring back Compton. Spaight was ok but not remotely in the ball park of Brown inside the box. Plus was banged up in what would qualify as a healthy season for him. Gotta upgrade significantly at NT to cover the weakness at ILB or get a stud ILB.
  9. Spot on observation. Happened to have him on my fantasy team his first three years and just manged to keep track of him. I don't think at this point he's better than Crowder. Even taking into consideration the injuries he still had Rodgers throwing him the ball and Jordy on the outside. Adams as of late. That's enough talent outside that he should have been able to put up better numbers.
  10. Saw the comment that Cravens isn't up for trade. Hopefully it's just tactics. I just don't see how he fits back into this locker room. Feels like we're sliding back into that constant chaos mode. Which would be certified by signing Wilkerson.
  11. Read a post them saw several more about him next season or being on the roster. I just don't think his body can handle it. Time for him to move on. He might fit in a rotational social reserve role on a team that could afford that luxury. It's just not the Skinz.
  12. I've noticed ppl still referencing Phil Taylor as a option. Right now he'd be on the same list as Keith Marshall. Gotta stay healthy first. The team can't count on having him in the starting lineup
  13. I'm not sure if it was true but I read he didn't want to play NT here and that's what got him the boot. That and he left here w/ bad blood so now he's got no suitors. Gonna take a hard pass on that one.
  14. Idk about the CB situation. I thought it was a foregone conclusion Breeland was gonna walk after they gave Dunbar the extension. I expected Dunbar to take over and Moreau to unseat him eventually. The Fuller trade mixed things up but they're throwing Holsey's name out there. I'm sure we'll pick up another DB to add depth but I think the primaries are set. At OLB I can't see us not trying to keep Murphy. Preston has yet to show any consistency. He disappears somewhere between weeks 3-15. I just don't see anything special from him coming off the edges. He doesn't set hard edges against the run and still doesn't have one pass rush move that he's perfected. I guess he's better in coverage than Murphy. But that's only an assumption based purely on age. The F/O head already told Gallette to hit the streets in no uncertain terms. I think he'd like to stay but the brass isn't trying to pony up much more than vet min. Zach Brown was huge for us in the middle last year inspite of the injuries. His speed and athleticism was a major upgrade from years past. I like Compton but he's no Zach Brown. With that being said bring him back for depth. Because bless his heart, but we can't be serious trying to plug the middle with the likes of Vigil, Martelle, Clemons, and whatever effort guy we can pull off the streets. I just don't think you can have a good defense w/ out a legitimate field general in your front seven.(Preferable MLB) And last but not least. We got a stable of broke down backs that don't do anything one thing specifically well. CT is the firecracker. We still don't have a true featured back. For the love of all football sanity don't even regurgitate the dude's name who just got cut by Tampa. Their backfield is as bad if not worse than ours. I've heard it whispered about transitioning Kelley into a FB. I'd give Perrine another season to figure it out. I'm most intrigued about Keith Marshall staying healthy and making it through a training camp. F/A tires I'd kick, Isaiah Crowell and Micah Hyde.
  15. LB nerd here too. W/ that said...... Resigned Foster already. Wasn't but on Foster until he was next to Brown. Together they were impressive. Brown running down anything on the edges and Foster getting dirty between the tackles. My only knock on Brown is his lack of coverage skills especially w/ that speed. Watched Roquan Smith in the playoffs. WHOA. Money spent on Foster do you pay Brown or make a play for Smith? Have you seen any game footage for the kid from Boise State? Ranked #3 MLB behind Johnson and Smith. Vigil played w/ a lot of heart but I don't think he was as solid as Compton. Do we bring Compton back for depth? What's your take on Preston Smith? Does he flash enough to pick up the 5th year option? Do you start him over Murphy? Who starts opposite of Norman? Can't see us spending in the neighborhood of $16 mil a season on Breeland. I honestly don't see that much difference in him and Dunbar. Over all he's better but Dunbar is cheaper and locked up. I expect Moreau to challenge Dunbar or lock up the nickel. Something along the trajectory of Fuller. Any chance Cravens sticks around? I think the secondary is solid is Nicholson can stay on the field. If we don't get Brown I think we go hard after Bennie Logan. If that happens do we still go after Payne or the best available LB in the draft?

The irony. I grew up in SE VA. Always thought the Skinz belonged to VA just played in DC. LOL

I don't see anything to salvage. KC doesn't want to be here for whatever reason. We got another QB at least equal and cheaper than what we had. The KC era is over. I'm just ready for the Skinz to move on. As if the whole situation didn't look bad for the organization before. I don't think holding KC hostage will improve our standing around league. Def not w/ free agents. I don't see anything to salvage. KC doesn't want to be here for whatever reason. We got another QB at least equal and cheaper than what we had. The KC era is over. You gotta be a Chief's fan or something. Because the irony of talking about a scrambling QB getting injured is not lost on us.

I think if more ppl took the time to wade into the weeds they'd realize how we turned this Cousins affair around in the team's favor. No I don't like giving up a hometown future stud in Fuller. But big picture is QB. Cousins is gonna demand something in the neighborhood of 5yr/$140 mil. I was ok w/ him but didn't think his skills equated to those numbers. We signed Smith to an extension. Really only tied to him for two years. Enough time to draft this year and bring along a long term solution. If we thought Carr and Stafford opened up the market. Wait to see what happens when Drew Brees, Matt Ryan, Aaron Rodgers, and Tom Brady reset the market.

Upon further reflection and normal ES over reaction. You're right. I'd of thought the 3rd was enough as well. Moreau has shown good potential in limited play. I think Breeland is gone. Moreau develops and eventually moves ahead of Dunbar. But I think Cravens still has a chance in the league. KC has veteran leadership in Peters and Berry. Not a bad spot for a talented kid in need of a fresh start. I can't see the Skinz locker room vibing w/ him. If Nicholson can stay healthy that leaves Swearinger down in the box where he excels. I don't see where Craven fits even if they brought him back.
