  1. Great poll CITR - thank you!!! One minor quibble: the list of movies does not include the all-time classic (and my favorite) Killer Klowns from Outer Space.
  2. I wish I’d known that when I was a kid. I was a C but also LS on my teams in HS/college. I must have done a few hundred snaps in games (at least) and there was only 1 bad one. Once you know how to do it, you’re pretty much locked in. As long as the ball is always delivered to the hands of the holder or punter there’s no reason to tinker with your technique. It’s been painful watching this ****show, and it’s been going on all season. It just became super-apparent this week. That worm-burner snap should never, ever happen in a game, at practice, wherever. Never. But, here we are… If only I were half my age, I’d ask to try out. 🤣 PS - old guy question: do any NFL starting centers double as LS? I ask because snapping in shotgun is basically the same as a FG. It’s a common skill. Adjusting to snapping punts isn’t a big stretch. So why do teams have LS specialists?
  3. He’s a danger to the kicker, holder and punter. If you **** up on a punt or a FG they can get hurt. After some of the **** snaps this season, Cheeseman should be feeling really bad. They really need to find someone else - someone consistent.
  4. Both he and EB made absolutely zero adjustments to the game plan even after the bye dropped a quick 21 on them as a result of three DC three-and-outs.
  5. Given the dog**** excuse for an OL I’m consistently amazed at how productive Howell can be. A weak link or two in OL is bad but not insurmountable. A good QB can still make that work. When then entire unit is the weakest link, it’s a special QB that can still be productive despite being under constant pressure. Having an OL as weak as ours limits what the entire offense can do and makes it much more predictable. I honestly think it’s amazing how well Howell has done this season, and even more amazing that he hasn’t had a season- or career-ending injury. I also like his very short memory and ice-in-the-veins approach. He really can’t be shook. We might move on from him but I’d love to see him with an OL that has 2 or 3 real starters (or even 5). I hope he stays and keeps progressing. Hail.
  6. ES - have a scroll through this topic and be amazed, as I was, by how many of us (me notwithstanding) came incredibly close to the final score. Well done ES!!!
  7. Sarcasm is all I have left after being a Skins/Team/Commanders fan for nearly 50 years. 😞
  8. C’mon man. This team will draft a long snapper with that pick.
  9. I would have found someone who could find the right football people, then gotten the **** out of the way. 😀 If only I was an incompetent idiot who got incredibly lucky once, I too could’ve ****ed this franchise up beyond redemption and made you all hate me too. 🤪
  10. In this case it’s good to hear him call out coaches since they are by and large total garbage.
  11. Sadly it’s a birthday I share (including the year) with someone I despise. Any ideas who that might be?
  12. Someone should post them in the locker room.
  13. Thanks for the laugh. I’ve been steaming all night. ****ing Commanders. And it’s my birthday too you useless ****s!!! 😡 But this makes me laugh. I was in a band that did a lot of touring and played tons of shows. One time we played a showcase where colleges come to see acts they might book. This guy was on right before us. It was a real Spinal Tap moment. Thanks again! 🙂
  14. Every Dallas possession results in a TD and all take 6 plays or fewer. Every. Single. One. Sam is pulled to avoid injury and Dallas feasts on Briskett. Cowpukes 140 Commies 0
  15. Unleash the Sex Dragon. Bring in Rex “**** it - I’m going deep!” Grossman as HC.
  16. I just turned it off and said **** this ****. I’m sure lots of people did the same but this is the first time EVER for me. Please blow this clown show up. Fail to the Commanders FTTC
  17. Howell goes 52/58 for 475 yards, 7 TDs and 0 INT. Adds another rushing TD. JDR’s amazing defense just can’t stop the Giants and gives up scores on several drives with less than 5 plays each. Poor clock management ultimately does us in when we squander 3 TOs in the 3rd quarter and then run out of time as Howell leads a late drive. Final: NYG 59 Wash 56
  18. I honesty think this will be a big improvement! 👍
