it's the knicks and wizards by a mile over any other organization

Even the "dysfunctional" Lakers shed Magic and traded for Anthony Davis and are on track to succeed now. And that's WITHOUT Kawhi.

Again, that doesn't mean much anymore. The Knicks had the most ping pong balls for the lottery too. The Suns had a lot too and drafted like 8th. 😐

    Not anymore.

Then why have the lottery then? This has always bogs my mind how the NBA thinks this is fair.

  2. According to David Aldridge of The Athletic, the Wizards are in talks with Isaiah Thomas.

This would be a great spot for Thomas to get his career turned around with John Wall still rehabbing his Achilles. The Wizards just added Ish Smith on a two-year deal worth $12M, and with Tomas Satoransky joining the Bulls in a sign-and-trade, the starting spot is up for grabs. Thomas still needs to prove he's healthy and his last few stints with the Cavs, Lakers and Nuggets have not gone well, so that will make Thomas more of a late-round flier in this scenario.

At this point, I can't see the purpose in hiring Danny Ferry.  He's definitely not the worst GM out there, but he's not that good.  If we're not going to hire Troy Weaver, then just let Sheppard keep doing the job.

I can talk myself into Bryant, but not Portis.  Bryant is everything you want from the position except rim protection and defensive awareness.  Big flaws, admittedly, but the offensive game and the energy and positive contributions to the culture are there.

Portis isn't any good.  He doesn't really do anything well except hit threes and free throws for a big.  But that's not that valuable compared to everything he takes off the table.  He's a sub-replacement level player and we should let him walk.

Agree with your assessment but the irony is Portis may receive more interests from other teams. Why?

CNN Anchor: The Problem at the Border Didn’t Begin Under Trump

Obama in 2014: 'Do Not Send Your Children To The Border'

Anchor John King stated that the current border crisis existed before the Trump administration came into office on CNN's Inside Politics.

"This particular issue is not new," King said on air. "This is an interview going back to 2014 with the then-Democratic president of the United States. There are some Democrats who come to the table and say, ‘Trump created this crisis, this is all about Trump.'"

"It maybe escalated under Trump," King said, "the numbers are certainly higher under Trump. But this has been a problem the United States government has had to figure out a solution to for a very long time."

He then played an excerpt from a 2014 interview with President Barack Obama where Obama addressed the issue of holding children at the border.

"The problem is that under current law, once those kids come across the border, there's a system in which we're supposed to process them, take care of them, until we can send them back," Obama said in the 2014 interview.

"Our message, absolutely, is don't send your children unaccompanied on trains or through a bunch of smugglers, that is our direct message to the families in Central America," Obama continued. "Do not send your children to the border. If they do make it, they'll get sent back."

King pointed out that President Obama was called the "Deporter-In-Chief" by some of his Democratic opponents. But he reiterated that the border crisis is not a spontaneous creation of the Trump administration.

"This issue has been unresolved, different pieces of it, for 20-plus years," King added.

Once upon a time, a poster named @MEANDWARF started a thread titled “Happy Sunday People”.  It was a thread to spread the gospel through bible verses.

Now, I could go into a thread that MEANDWARF started and talk about how much of a sham religion is and how there is no God and that people who follow him are brainwashed.  But that would have been a total dick move, and I don’t often like being a dick.

    Stop being a dick MEANDWARF.

Oh so this is just a Praise A.O.C. thread.

Rename the title then.Anyway, my bad.

Yeah I no longer do the HSS thread due to limited interest.

    Later!
