General Mass Shooting Thread (originally Las Vegas Strip)

Anyway, I was reactionary and posted some half-baked thoughts and misinformation. To get this thread back to its intent, I was thinking about it the other day and imagine being a citizen of another 1st world nation and following our news and all these psychos and their slaughters are constantly dinging on their news app? I was attempting to put myself in that position the other day and examine it from a perspective that is far removed from our way of life. Even being Americans, we simply can't escape these nightmares even if we all know the next mass killing can't be before too long. It's so disturbing that this is our reality and unfortunately a level of familiarity has simply left us jaded. -

Hey my friend, I know about Fred Doug. Difference of opinion or not, I am quite educated thank you very much. No need to get condescending hermano. -

Thanks for the correction. Now that you mention it, I do recall something about a robot carrying a bomb in a parking garage. My mistake Gotcha. I stand by my view that it's ridiculous to compare that concentrated evil to what has happened in our country. For the record, I am not ignorant about the dynamics of what we have done here but I do see how our previous transgressions could have inspired much worse down the road. -

This **** is getting ridiculous. 6 million Jews were exterminated in 4 years, in heinous fashion. Our atrocities you're referencing are like a whole century. It's still a despicable part of our history but be real about how one political movement killed 17 million people in a handful of years and compare that to our worst decade. It doesn't make it ok but you and your ilk are extremely disrespectful to that genocide by watering it down with comparisons to the U.S. I would love for you to get on a mic and tell Holocaust survivors that America had the first iteration of Nazis, . You citing a new yorker article doesn't make the claims anymore substantial. All of your hyperbole continuously confirms your severe lack of wisdom. -

Go. Get. Desean. No Kirk but Smith would probably be more comfortable airing it out with his tracking. Plus, it would open Reed up again if we had Crowder or Quinn in the slot. Doctson could focus more on sticking with intermediate and red zone routes. -
Let's face it, our uniforms will just be the standard we've always worn. They've never even tried to tweak the jersey's design. These burgundy on whites we've been wearing are slick. I like those best. The gold pants ran their course and they were absolutely terrible with the whites. That looked soft. Maybe they'll get an update when we build a new stadium, lol

I still don't understand why we don't use the team font in some capacity for the numbers/ names. It would be a great way to update the uniforms in a drastic way but still hold onto tradition with the rest of the jerseys. Unless . . . they put a spear on the side of the sleeves with the 70s stripe pattern subtly there...

I really thought Crowder would be able to get underneath IND defense and make some plays. -

This is what I came to the thread to say. No doubt Doctson will have a few games with 100+ 1 TD this season. Even if it comes against a banged up/ less than stellar secondary. Then, fans will be on his nuts for a couple weeks. If he has a poor game wither through not playing well or not being a big part of the team's particular gameplan that week, a lot of fans will be just as critical. I understand he was drafted to be a #1 and that has certain expectations but one game isn't enough to think he will have a terrible season. It seemed obvious Doctson wasn't a huge part of the gameplan and Jay's offenses always have spread it out. Once the O-line seemed to be dominating early, maybe Doct losing targets was the sacrifice to going with what was working? Maybe he just sucks and the coaches don't trust him? Either way, I know he'll come up big somewhere this season.
