Coker was on MMA Live today. Said Fedor would be fighting in May. Overeem would be fighting for SF 3 times over the next year. Named some other Dream fighters he wants to bring over.

Lets see...Sweeps,trips, singe leg, double leg, judo throw, roman greco throws and trips. To be quite honest, I don't see pulling guard from a standup position to be that successful at all once you fight experienced MMA fighters. I may work on newbies to the sport, but rarely do you see it work with pro's with experience. well, besides AOKI.

These comments came after the Dean Lister fight where the guy didn't try to do anything. BJJ is just not about pulling guard, but they're sweeps, trips, single and double leg take downs, theres judo throws, Roman Greco trips,etc. EliteXC was rumored to offer a standup bonus. And we saw what happened to them. Back to the WEC. What they put out is fine, but far from PPV material. If I pay 45$ I want to see more than two weight classes. Outside of Sactown with Faber, they would be hard pressed to sell out a show.

WEC's Kitchen Sink is still undercard fodder. MFC puts on better shows than WEC. Sorry, I can't keep watching the same 145-155lbs guys fight over and over.

Don't forget. Spike will start airing "The Best of Pride" tonight. There will be some epic fights! If you have never seen PRIDE before, you're in for a treat! Foot Stomps FTW!

I don't think Maynard or Edgar will get a shot at BJ. I think newly acquired Takanomi Gomi will fight Maynard or Edgar. I think the UFC wants Gomi vs. Penn again but will probably have Gomi fight one of these guys first, to get the UFC fans familiar with him. If Gomi loses, than the winner can face BJ. Either way, BJ will destory whoever they put in front of him

Why is PED's even an issue? Nevada has been drug testing forever and Pac-man has fought there almost a dozen times or so. Bottm line is Mayweahter hasn't fought a legit contender in his prime in 5 years.

Are you serious? Who cares about the Ratings? Um, let see. The Network, The people who sell ADs, TNA. No Ratings=No Ad Dollars. How do you think they get their money? Their not the WWE who can sell out 10-15K Seat venues. But now they can become more legitmate. Do you remember WCW back in the 80's when they had their weekly show in a TBS Studio?? Then with Nitro then went big. I'm pretty sure thats the same business model TNA is going for.

I haven't watched wrestling since the Monday Night Wars when WCW was kicking RAW's ass. I just grew out of it. But last night I accidentally turned to TNA at 6pm and saw Hogan and all the old boys and got my nostalga going. So I immediatley flipped to USA knowing the WWF,er, WWE would be doing their best and I see Bret Hart returning. Looks like the Monday Night Wars are back. I won't be watching but it's good to know pro wrestling is trying again.

this is good for MMA overall. Coker is smart and would not get raked over the coals. He's a good businessman and I hav the utmost faith in him that he will succeed. M-1 have have a large stable of up and coming fighters from around the world that Strikeforce can use in their ShoMMA series on showtime. This is great news for MMA fans. The only downside is Dana White is gonna counter program the **** out of them!

Mir has the experience and If this fight goes past the 3rd round, Mir will win by submission. Nobody knows about Lesners cardio, so it should be interesting. I always pull for technique over brute strength
