I've lived in Oklahoma for 4 years and never thought I'd see what I've seen.

Everybody is getting their weed card, street dealers have gone out of business.  You got to know somebody who has their card, or have one yourself.

Pot shops everywhere. I ain't no hillbilly, but I thought this was the hill that Billy liked to camp out on the most.

    I'm loving these wax pens.

They've said for years if you want to put the drug cartels out of business then legalize and tax pot.

Don't you want handguns banned too?  Not trying to start anything, just asking, if I'm wrong, apologies in advance

    LoL!

For the record I'll just ask you to quote anywhere I said banning handguns or even AR's. I am however very much in favor of strict licensure, registration, and sale denial based on various criminal/abuse/illness criteria.

I dont involve myself in political or policy debates, so don't take this as a position on gun control one way or the other.

But, I was able to go to a gun range and shoot an automatic weapon for the first time in my life this past year.  I shot an Uzi with a few 20 shot clips on auto and semi-auto.  The only situation I have ever thought about wanting a gun for self protection is imagining what I would do if a zombie apocalypse broke out, so I don't think much about this stuff.  However, I did walk away from the experience thinking that there is no way I would want an automatic weapon over a semi-auto if I had to protect myself.  Those clips are gone in less than 3 seconds on auto, and you can't hit crap after the 1st shot... At least with the Uzi.

It's true across the board with full autos, most are too light to keep on target which is why they are used for suppressing fire, ie keeping the enemy's head down while your team can reposition. Even then the training is three round bursts. Rambo was pure mythology, but the M-60 is fun as hell with a nice long belt of ammo.

For home defense, inside the house a handgun is the preferred. A rifle inside is often too cumbersome and lacks agility, they also have too much wall penetration which means you're likely to kill whatever is on the other side.

And there you see the problem with the "arm the school" talking point.

In order to have one "good guy with a gun" at one school shooting, you have to put thousands (10s of thousands?) of guns, in thousands of schools.  And keep them there, just in case they're needed.

And those thousands of guns will slightly increase the risk to students, themselves.  "Aw, ****!" will, occasionally, happen.

    - - -

Also, gee, who would have thought that when you put an AR-15 in a school, you should budget for a safe to keep it in, too?

Dude, this is the NRA's entire plan, you know how much money this would add to the firearms market?

    I bet the NRA does.

Remember the NRA is the gun industry lobby. What a stroke of genius to convince people that adding guns everywhere will make us safer.

Rafa Benitez left Newcastle because their owner wouldn't spend money, gets replaced by someone with one of the worst Premier League managing records whom said-owner gifts more money to spend than he ever gave to Rafa.

    So basically Dan Snyder....ok.

  6. Oh Chelsea. 4-0

I'm glad that they didn't start Pulisic until this was already out of hand. He'll now have about 25 min against ManU without the pressure of a loss on his shoulders.

  7. So I just got off the phone with my mother (Florida), she got her dispensary card and went in to fill her scrip. They gave her some gel and she tried it for the first time on Tuesday.

I haven't laughed so hard in a long time, apparently it hit her hard and she was stoned for hours. She was tripping so bad that she called her friend who is an addiction specialist who talked her through her high! Apparently she was worried about the paintings and rugs she made (she didn't make any) and felt there was a dark tunnel she didn't want to go down etc. The next day after she "recovered" she wrote a "Karen" letter to her doctor complaining about how bad it was!

I told her next time she needs to call me!

So they are against inter-racial couples...keep that in mind Supreme Court when we allow companies to refuse service based on religious belief..

    Jeremiah 2:21-25

21 Yet I planted you a choice vine,
        wholly of pure seed.
How then have you turned degenerate
        and become a wild vine?
22 Though you wash yourself with lye
        and use much soap,
the stain of your guilt is still before me,
    declares the Lord God.
23 How can you say, ‘I am not unclean,
I have not gone after the Baals’?
    Look at your way in the valley;
        know what you have done—
a restless young camel running here and there,
24     a wild donkey used to the wilderness,
in her heat sniffing the wind!
        Who can restrain her lust?
    None who seek her need weary themselves;
in her month they will find her.
25 Keep your feet from going unshod
        and your throat from thirst.
But you said, ‘It is hopeless,
        for I have loved foreigners,
and after them I will go.’

Oh good, and a Zionist, because the image wouldn't be complete without full fledged irony.

    Leviticus 20:24

But I said to you, "You will possess their land; I will give it to you as an inheritance, a land flowing with milk and honey." I am the LORD your God, who has set you apart from the nations.

Funny how this racist supports genocide and territorial invasion when it has a divine mandate, but when it's brown people from Juarez that's evil.

  9. All rested up and it still makes sense to put killing devices under the same types of governance as we put commuting devices.

1st Amendment isn't absolute and neither is the 2nd.

You have to get approved for a permit to express yourself through protest, but not own an AR. Want to carry an AR with a 100 round magazine a busy street? No problem.

Perfectly legal right up until you decide to shoot 35 people in 30 seconds. Bear in mind the car you drove there is not only registered, licensed, and insured, but you also had to prove to the government that you knew how to operate it safely, and if you decided to drive that car through the crowd you've decided to shoot up, you might kill a couple people at most.

Maybe you will make more sense after you get some sleep.

Right, training, testing, restricting, licensing, registering, and insuring a device that takes you to work makes absolute sense, while doing the same for a device that's sole intended purpose is to kill is absurd.

You got it buddy. Because if that's your logic then you're seriously fried.

can a felon buy a car?

Can you sell a gun across state lines?

Yawn, this is the ****ing problem, people like you would rather play ****ing games than solve this thing.

    To drive a car:

    Driver training

    Driver testing

    Driver licensure

    Auto licensing

    Auto insurance

    Annual renewals

To own and use a gun:

    Nothing

The day you wake up and realize that this is where we start is the day I'll start taking you seriously. Until then you're just another troll on the internet.

Personally, I don't care which you choose.

    G'nite.

What kinda idiot would think regulating two totally different things the same way would be good?

Agreeing to such idiocy would make me one too...I'll pass :807:

    LoL!!

What kind of idiot would think that guns should have less regulations on their ownership and use than cars?

    Oh, yeah, you.

I bought a drag car at 15, no licence.ins or registration required

I bought a motorcycle and have never had a licence and obviously no ins or registration required.

want me to post a stupid graphic like you?

Did you drive them on roads?

in other words use them to get around in?

Tell ya what, let's agree that guns should have the same regulations as those cars you bought. That way you can't use them in public and are only able to use them in hyper controlled environments like shooting ranges and your garage.

Of course the level of obtuseness continues.

they aren't unless you count manufacturing, autos are much more complex.

That's funny, I can by an AR-15 from a yard sale with zero registration or license. But I can't drive a car without registration, insurance, and licensure.

I know you love being obtuse on purpose because I suppose you think it makes you look clever and smart, but even you know you're lying.

Oh yeah, I forgot that I can order all my parts anonymously and from third parties to make my own ghosted AR all online, so the gov't won't even know it exists.

But yeah, go on telling us how much more guns are regulated than cars.

  15. Harry Kane gets a brace to finish off Aston Villa!

    Tottenham 3-1 AVFC

The Etihad has been christened properly.

Bad news for Liverpool with Alisson Becker reportedly out for several weeks.

Happy for Sheffield getting their first EPL point.
