  1. Diego Sanchez is a scab that won't pick off. So tired of watching him get beaten up and still win fights simply because he doesn't get finished and he gets inspired by his own blood.

I cannot stand his personality and I cannot stand seeing him collect UFC checks merely for his scowl. Ross Pearson dominated him.

I agree with you for the most part but that fight with Gilbert Melendez was almost worth it...not worth all of the ****ty decisions but worth watching his scowl and annoying interviews.

Plus with a figure like that you know he's never seen a weigh room, much less tried PEDs  :P

  2. Well, to be fair, Diaz may not the same as we remember either. That Paul Daley fight you mention was three years ago. And it was Paul Daley.

Three years ago, Silva was front kicking Vitor's head into the 11th row of the Mandalay Bay Events Center. We all know about the injury, but it's not like Nick has been active while Anderson has been rehabbing.

If you look at Anderson Silva's Instagram it looks like he's been lifting a lot of weights and eating big. I didn't pay a ton of attention to his weight between bouts when he was fighting regularly, but this is probably the biggest I've seen him. A lot of his workout videos are him in the weightroom too.

  3. I don't think anyone ever has picked Machida to lose ever.

I'm pretty sure a decent amount of people picked him to lose to Jon Jones. Although I doubt anyone picked him to be choked unconscious..still the best Jon Jones win so far IMO.

Also, I don't agree with the asterisk crowd. Maybe in the rematch (although Weidman dominated him before the injury), but the first fight was a legit win for Weidman.

    legit.

  4. That was right up there with Bones beating Shogun for challengers destroying a champion.

Better IMO because Barao was in his prime, Shogun was already sputtering at that point.

    *edit:

Top three fights were incredible finishes btw, one of the better cards I've seen in a while

  5. Outside of the main event, one thing I definitely can say about last night is that Luke Rockhold reinforced the fact that 185 is the most exciting division in MMA these days. I can't decide if a rematch with Vitor or Jacare would be best for him. I guess personally, a rematch with Vitor would be what he wants but for the division a rematch with Jacare may be best. Personally, I'd like to see him fight Anderson (Rockhold would lose IMO) but I think it would make for a fairly exciting matchup. Although, I doubt we'll see Anderson fight until 2015 and I hope he gets a tuneup fight when he returns.

Also, love watching Jim Miller these days, I hope he gets Khabib like he wants.
