  1. Has your cc been charged yet? I'm sure you could go through your bank to try to cancel.
  2. Last year I decided not to renew for financial reasons but took at shot at trying to sell the whole season just to keep them going. Finally found a fan here at extremeskins in May. I was glad to be able to hold onto them another year. This year, same thing. I've accepted that it's not how I want to spend my money this year as I try to pay some things off, but will attempt to find a full season buyer just in case next year I change my mind. I'm guessing it will be even harder to sell this year. For years, it has been way too much of a chore to find buyers.
  3. Got an #HTTR t shirt via FedEx today from the team. My account rep said Monday the 16th is the deadline and then they'll be released. He's holding mine longer, though, since I asked him to as I try to find a buyer.
  4. I didn't renew my tickets but I got a voice mail from someone introducing himself as my account rep. He didn't say anything about me needing to pay. Just introduced himself and said I can call if I have any questions. Weird.
  5. Looks like I'm going to be out. No interested buyers yet, which helps confirm my main reason for not renewing.
  6. I'm debating giving up my seats this season. Just can't afford them right now. The main reason I'd want to keep them is because I saved my rewards points up for this season and use them on sideline passes for my kids. I told them last season that I'd save them up for this season so they could all get a chance. I assume if I don't renew then I lose my rewards points. I'd like to find someone to buy my season from me to keep my account alive and I get to keep the rewards, then maybe just buy one game this season for my family to attend and use the rewards then reconsider my status next season. But, as many of you know, selling tickets isn't easy and has really become the main reason I'm considering dropping out.
  7. I've had my LL seats on Craigslist for about 4 hours and only one person has emailed about them.
  8. Hmm, are they sold out for the Rams game? It says "Quantity not available" and I can't click on the Redeem button.
  9. I have 14000 yards and it costs 8000...and I have 3 kids. So I will either do this for one kid this season and the other two next season or wait to do all 3 next season. What about the one where you get to be in the tunnel? Anyone done that? I always like to make fun of Dallas for having that so not sure about that one. But it's cheaper.
  10. Anyone do the on field passes yet? I might do that for one of my kids this season.
  11. I was considering some seats with bars in front of them in 207/208, but opted not to with the concern that it would block my view. I used to be in 131. 231 will be the area right in front of the scoreboard/big screen at that end of the field. I don't recall ever noticing if the bar would be a problem there or not. Should be a really in and out for food, restrooms, and leaving the stadium. And you may already know this, but no overhang in that section.
  12. I moved from the top of 108 to the very last row in 208. I'm going to enjoy the shade, overhang protection from rain, and that my kids will be able to see without me holding them up or them having to stand on their seat. My daughter is bummed that we're moving farther back, but she always attends a late season game when it's not 85 degrees beaming straight down on you for 3 hours. Last night, there were still quite a few around 106-108 and 207-208. It's the corner near the Redskins tunnel. As you moves towards the visitor tunnel and sideline, there's even more available.
  13. Pretty sure I got an email last year about NFL Rewind, so I'm assuming that will happen again. The NFL Mobile app has an option for Season Ticket Holders to sign in and get RedZone. Until today I wasn't able to log in, but now I can at least do that. Not sure how to use it, though. The "Try It Now" button doesn't do anything and I don't see another way to access it right now within the app.
  14. It's going to take a lot to be deader than the Buccaneers game last year. Bad team playing team without many fans in the cold rain. I saw listing on Craigslit like: "Buy my green parking pass for $40 and get 4 tickets free." It was insane. I bought a green pass for $20 and when I went to pick it up the lady just gave me 3 tickets. I just drove through the Cap Center BLVD shopping center and gave a couple guys tickets. As long as the weather is decent, I think the Vikes should beat that game. ---------- Post added November-7th-2011 at 05:40 PM ---------- Loudest booing I've ever heard was for Heath Shuler. Man, fans just hated that guy.
  15. 49ers fans definitely played a role in the market for that game. There were a lot of them. I imagine Dallas, NYJ, and NE should be fairly strong markets because of their fans. But, the Vikings will be the lowest of the season.
  16. Are you answering about the 49ers prices? I was asking about the cheap Cardinals tickets. When, during the week, were the cheap Cardinals tickets?
  17. 49ers fans coming out of hiding? Not sure. When, during the week, were you seeing those prices?
  18. Assuming all else is equal (which, of course, it isn't), the reduction in seating capacity seems to have a large affect on the secondary market. Looking at the Post Ticket Market Update at the Washington Post, the prices and quantity of tickets available for this weekend are vastly different than I'd expect for a similar game in past year's. Things may look different tomorrow evening, but right now craigslist is not being flooded with cheap tickets.
  19. Wow, only 93 tickets currently on StubHub. I've never seen it that low.
  20. Agreed. I've had a few different systems over the years. I loved the buses to Landover Metro Station. They were close to the stadium and I could use a similar route as you to get back to VA. We Metro now. The main problem with that is that our kids are younger (8, 6, 4). As they get older, that walk won't seem as bad. The 8 and 6 year old do it pretty well now, but the 4 year old takes his time or kills my shoulders as I carry him for large chunks of the slightly uphill walk. It wears me out. I need to get in better shape. I park at Addison Rd so I only ride Metro one stop. I prefer to get in my car as quickly as possible because I know the area well enough to take different routes and make good time back home. It's also good to get back in the car with kids so they sleep more comfortably if they want and I can get them dinner quickly if they are hungry (I refuse to buy a lot of concessions at the stadium). If I'm attending a low-demand game (for example against Tampa late in the season in the rain), I hit craigslist for a cheap parking pass. But, at typical prices, I just can't see myself paying $40 for parking for just two people.
  21. DC9 and tshile, I see you live in Fredericksburg and Warrenton. I'm in western Fairfax County. We tend to have friends who live near us. I do. I assume you do. I know several Redskins fans in my general area. We talk Redskins. They have t-shirts. They watch the games. But, living where we do, it's very difficult to get any of them to pay me $ to make the long trek to Landover. And it's not even necessarily a traffic thing. Sure, the traffic can suck. But, it's just about the distance. It's an all day event even without tailgating. My wife and son attended this last game. They left our house around 10:30 and sat down just after kickoff. They stayed the whole game and didn't get home until about 7. Now, there were a couple extra factors there. Apparently Metro had some single-track action Sunday because of track maintenance and my wife doesn't always take the quickest routes; she takes the easiest routes. But, those times are significantly different than the norm. I usually try to leave by 10:30 to make it by kickoff and I usually get home around 6. All that to say that those of us whose circle of friends are away from the city can have a hard time selling to friends. As mentioned by others, some fans like attending games and others just don't care as much. If I lived much closer to the stadium and my circle of friends was much closer to the stadium, I think they'd be easier to sell.
  22. Doesn't necessarily have to be a large number just because they're sending out emails. I got an email around this time last year for me to upgrade into the lower portion of the UL. They only offered 3 pairs of two tickets to me. Having said that, I wouldn't be surprised if they still have quite a few to sell. I got my third "Giants Player Ticket Returns" email a few minutes ago and it said "Last Chance".
  23. So the 10% PG County Entertainment Tax has always been there?
  24. Section 423, Row 17 to Section 131, Row 17.
  25. It's the road you cross to get to that lot and the one with all the police lined up at the end. I've never seen anyone escorted out, but that could be what they use it for and would make sense to keep it blocked for that purpose.
