I'm unimpressed. Tepper sounded dishonest over the Ron Rivera firing. He said Ron Rivera is a good coach....but he fires him.... during mid season based on performance. Sounds like politician running for congress being interviewed by his own secretary.

His "processes" talk didn't really explain how/why this would make a difference than the current structure. Not saying that was a bad segment of the interview, but it's hardly anything for us to be jealous of or not. He doesn't really tell us anything.

  2. Unsure why some new owners here think changing the team name and uniforms is a top priority.

With the assistance of the NFL, hiring a consultant to make the initial big decisions on hiring the big heads of public relations, advertisement, front office. Then have those new hires make all the decisions without my permission for the Redskins moving forward.

Then get on board with Renovating FedEx with my own money and renaming it to Redskins Stadium or Jack Kent Cooke Stadium  in 2027. I'd turn it into a amusement type park and not charge for parking,

Just out of curiousity, where did you stand in the years leading to his departure?  I'm just interested to see if any of Kirk's biggest detractors are willing to own up.

Actually, I stood more with Kirk than against when he was here. But in his final year here, I supported the skins for dropping Kirk because money was too steep and he didn't seem to want to play here. Looking back at it now, we really screwed this up. I think the team should have done way more to work with Kirk because he's done a lot for us.

To me, it's more clearer now to see that our offense has significantly regressed after we lost Kirk. Certainly there is other components that plays into the regression of our offense such as the destruction of our good wide receiving core which is another story..

they were ok.  lets see what they do against minnesota thur.  that same defense, on a field that is NOT a slip n slide, will get ambushed. 400 yds , 30 + points.  stop with the defense talk.

As I said, we've seen worse performance in slip n slide conditions against worse teams. 49ers played in the same conditions. Im sure Vikings will have a better performance than 49ers did. NFL is a week to week league.

It's gotta mean something positive for us at least for today. Hopefully it's a sign we are trending up, defensively at least. I guess my expectations are much lower than the average fan, I expected us to get creamed, regardless of weather conditions, but we had a realistic chance of defeating a damn good team at the end.

wow.  you don't even realize how much the field & weather had to do with that.  You're gonna be all shades of dissapointed/surprised when Minnesota puts up 400 yards and 30 points on this bad defense on Thursday.

Wow. We're we born yesterday? I've seen skins give up more in worse weather conditions in just the last few years. Why is the rainy weather suddenly an excuse? Give credit where credit is due.

You all are nuts.  Why in the Sam hell would Tomlin come here?

If, IF he gets canned by Pittsburgh, he goes on tv to get fluffered for 5 years while his perceived value continues to rise and then he gets to pick his spot.

or, he comes to this **** hole.

Remove your blinders, Skins are getting a has been or never was.

If the paycheck/power is enough, Tomlin or nearly any coach looking for work will sign. We've seen it in the past. I remember back in 2000 on ESPN, Marty publicly stated he would never work for Daniel Snyder and.....a year later he was working for Daniel Snyder. I'm sure Joe Gibbs thought the same thing prior to 2004, Mike Shanahan as well. Money and power certainly changes a coaches mind.

Dan bought the team for $800 million. He could probably sell it for $3 billion today. $4 billion if a new stadium is ever built.

    He's happy.

It's baffling how the value of our horrid franchise has increased that much....

I'd have to back to Norv's first season, 1994, to remember a worse team than this one. And that was a salary clear-out, rebuilding year.

I dunno man. I think the 94 team is one of the best of our cellar dweller seasons. Most of the games lost in 94 was by a touchdown or less. They remember they weren't good enough to win, but they didn't make it easy for most opponents.

I'd say it's a tie between our 2013 season and this season so far.

    What the **** is this?

You've got a guy posting about real life tragedy, with people's clothes being melted onto their skin and you come at him with this ****?

One trash person laughs at his posts, another complains about memes when it's not memes, but what seems to be actual photos of his neighbors devastation, and then you top it off with some dense ass attempt at victim blaming?

Some of the people posting on this site disgust me.

RELAX. If you're going to quote me, please talk to me directly, not to an audience. :)

Not speaking for user twa, but where does twa think the tragedy is funny? He laughed at a Asbury post, but it wasn't at the victims. I stand correct on my response to AsburySkinFan.  Look at his recent posts, I think it's fair amount of evidence to make the claim of playing for teams.

Funny how @twalaughs at this and yet it actually happened 10 miles from my house...literally this exact scene...to the letter.

This is your GOP, they don't give a **** about people, it's profits and military they care about. If the rich are hurting then the government opens her legs wide, if it's the average person then the whore house is closed for business. Oh, you have some land that a wealthy developer can make money from? Well, now the government is against you taking away your right to your own land, making you a serf to the corporate greed.

    Nothing has changed.

Talk about playing for teams. Wow. It's always the other parties fault with you, isn't it?

I stand corrected, it must have been because Dan loved what he was telling him. He was reaching out to the fans, he was trying to bring respectability to at least some of the "entire organization".  So, if Dan wouldn't allow someone to handle a portion of the organization, what makes you think he will let someone handle the entire thing, oh wait..he has and does..his name is Bruce Allen.

One other thing. if we had an owner that would speak to the fans and explain why certain people were let go or the direction the organization wants to go we wouldn't have to speculate.

So why bother speculating anyway? Something to talk about in the off season? I don't understand.

I really don't care hearing the reason why this employee was fired which is probably more professional to keep it behind closed doors. Maybe its me, I only want to see the solution on resolving a issue. Will it make a difference if Dan or Bruce speaks publicly about any issue? Not to me. No drama needed. Just fix the issue.

And you're right, Snyder has been willing to let others run the show for better or worse , so it's not illogical to suggest him hire a consultant on a short time basis. To be fair, Snyder has been willing to try different things and take new ideas into consideration.

Tried that with Lafema and crew..fired in less than a year because he didnt like what they were telling him.

He was a COO that handled the business side of things, not a designated consultant for the entire organization and I'm unsure where you found the information as to why he was fired.

I am not fooled by this management anymore when it comes to FA or the draft.   There is no player out there that is good enough to turn this around that the Redskins have a chance at getting.  The Chiefs aren’t letting Mahomes go.  No decent free agent would dare come here except to get paid and Redskins are cap strapped and can’t even be a major player.  Drafting in mid 1st round won’t bring in an impact player plus I can’t even trust that they can identify an impact player even if it ran them over in a tank.

First....he needs to build a world-class facility like the Viking just moved into last Spring which cost Wilf $1 billion.  Build it and they may come because they will see the commitment plus it will give off the vibes of a first class operation.  Dan should have done this years ago.  Their facility is a joke and any talk about passion for winning is nonsense every time I drive past Redskin Park.  It’s a joke when something that important gets neglected and then Dan goes off and buys himself expensive toys.  He is showing is real priorities.   Me first, team second.

I like the idea, I can't see a world class facility turning anything around unless we are a college football team trying to bring in good recruits. I can see plenty of good players coming here if we show them the money. Good players will still be good here if they fit the system and have a good supporting cast. I do agree with FA which has been obviously  terrible.

It doesn't matter what spot we have in the first round draft, there is still plenty of amazing talent left by 16 or 32. I actually can't complain about our Draft in the last two seasons.

Dan needs real consultants for the entire organization for 1 year to spot all of the problems with solutions. Maybe it that can help Snyder change whatever is wrong with our organization if HE decides follows through with the solutions given. Because terminating Bruce and finding a replacement doesn't give me any confidence our team is going to improve.

I don’t think the article is meant to be an uber serious, in-depth investigative piece.  Just look at it.

That said, are there any other professional sports teams in the big four, that have the amount of vocal fan displeasure as this one does right now?  The reasons they provided certainly play into it at some level.

Yes. Oakland Raiders to name one.

Play into some level? Sports teams have had similar problems. Seems like a 6th grader could provide more logical reasons than the author of this article, instead of using outdated facts and complaining about the name of our team.

The websites reasons is not the same as most of the fan base reasons.
