  1. They just got confused on which former Redskins coordinator was getting it.
  2. He may actually be smart enough to know that beating the Giants is the equivalent to stealing candy from a baby. To brag about it makes the bragger out to be a complete asshole, because no one likes to hear about the mentally handicap being taken advantage of. I'm probably giving him too much credit though. He is an Eagles fan after all, and a cowardly one at that.
  3. Actually, it is quite the opposite. As I said earlier in this thread, JM would have been a fool to take that job. The Colts are the worst run franchise in the league. Any coach would fail there at this point. Ego has nothing to do with it. JM never officially accepted the job; it couldn't legally be offered to him until after the SB. When it was, he declined it. Belichick is going to mentor him, most likely to take over the Pats when Bill retires in a couple of years. Josh will be a much better HC his second time around, and will be part of an organization that knows how to win and is one of the most competently run in league history. He would have been a fool not to take advantage of the opportunity he has been given.
  4. That's why I am of the opinion that there is no fan-base more deserving than them to never get a SB victory.
  5. They're assholes. Pure and simple. ****ty fans, ****ty city. I can't stand them!!! This tweet is one in million pieces of proof of how despicable their fans are. **** all of them. Go Pats!!!
  6. I will be the biggest Pats fan ever in two weeks!!!
  7. Minnesota appears to be playing on the belief that it is their destiny to go home and play in the SB. That last play of last week's game really went to their heads. They are a joke at this point.
  8. Pete Carroll had some success, especially with the Pats, and then had a lot of success at USC, showing some growth. Even at the Jets, he didn't create a dumpster fire like McDaniel did in Denver. Tebow will be a huge stain on his resume unless he can achieve a lot of success at his next stop.
  9. If he goes there, he truly is a fool. This will be his second go around, and after his failure in Denver, a second failure will all but guarantee he won't be sniffed as a HC again. The Colts have failure written all over them.
  10. All of this talk about Belickick leaving NE is crazy. Even if there is some merit to the BSPN article, he's not going anywhere. Hell, he and Brady and Kraft are the type of guys that will agree to continue to work together to spite the haters. McDaniels knows he's not getting the Pats job because it won't be available. He's probably eyeing the Tennessee job and will be named their HC within a day or two of NE's season ending, assuming that they get in their token minority interview to satisfy that joke of a Rooney Rule before NE's season ends. He'd be a fool to consider Indy. That team is a joke, and Luck was overrated before the injuries.
  11. It is completely amazing how he still has a HC job, never mind that job. He is 0-7 in the playoffs after 15 seasons and his teams are constantly undisciplined. It is ridiculous. I wish I could be half as incompetent at my job and keep it, along with getting paid a fortune to have it. Sheesh!!!
  12. Looks like Del Rio may be in trouble! http://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/21921030/oakland-raiders-preparing-pursue-jon-gruden-possibly-offer-ownership-stake The Oakland Raiders are preparing to pursue ESPN analyst Jon Gruden with an offer so strong it could even include an ownership stake in the teams, according to league sources. Gruden will be tempted to accept it, according to sources, but would prefer not to make any decisions until the regular season finishes Sunday and the Raiders make a final determination on their current head coach, Jack Del Rio, who signed a contract extension last summer.
  13. That was actually a really cool video. Thanks for sharing!
  14. I agree. Plus, though some around here like to throw out the "excuse" word, truth is that this team would have played much differently and probably be in a much better spot if it wasn't for all the injuries. I think that is taken into consideration by those making the call on Gruden.
  15. Perfect fit for that classless, garbage owner and team. **** Mara and the Giants.
  16. He didn't win them ****. Both of those SB's were won by dominant defensive play and two of the luckiest catches you'll ever see. HE is one of the most overrated QB's in the past 20 years. Outside of those two SB seasons, Eli has never won a playoff game. He has made a career off of his family name, and been overrated because he happens to be a Manning. Now, the Geno Smith part is a complete joke. Anyone being benched for Geno should be put on suicide watch. As bad as Eli is, he's better than Geno, but the backup QB on my high school team was better than Geno, so that's not saying much.
  17. Nobody is saying that? I'm not trying to be snarky, but sincere in asking, you don't listen to sports talk radio much, do you? I have heard plenty of people, and I have read posts on this board where people have attributed a lot, if not the bulk of their success due to the crappy division they have played in. They do exist, and they do live among us. One could argue the reason that their division has been so bad is due to desperate moves to try to compete with the Pats. All three of those teams have spent so much on defense to slow Brady down, but their offenses have paid the price most years and some of their defensive moves didn't pan out, cough, cough, Mario Williams. The Pats haven't just dominated their division in the past 10+ years, they have dominated their conference, and pretty much every NFC division they are scheduled to play on a given year. Getting bored of their dominance still doesn't take away the facts and is no excuse for some people to try to undermine their achievements. If this had been the Redskins, I'm sure boredom would not be a factor of this message board.
  18. Exactly. Doubters should ask Peyton Manning how overrated the Patriots have been and only won because of a weak division. It amazes me the length that some people will go to to try and discredit the Pats. It's like when haters try to put down Gibbs and the Redskins using the excuse that SB 17 and 22 were won after shortened seasons, so they shouldn't count or at least should have an asterisk (Schefter has been on that rant several times). The Pats, love them or hate them, are really just that good, as was Joe Gibbs and the 1980's, early '90's Redskins.
  19. I take it you haven't heard the Colts' hometown crew. They are absolutely horrible. By far the worst I've ever heard.

Is Norman thinking of playing for DC United?
  21. Sorry, man! Captain America should always feel special!
  22. I think this violates the spirit of the media/fan relations that teams and players are required to take part in. The Giants should be fined $36 million over the next two years in cap space and lose a few draft picks in the process.
  23. Vance Joseph hired as HC in Denver. Another spot closed. Wade now available?????
