Also when I went to the preseason game I notice they were scanning the barcodes to every parking pass coming in.  This seemed to be causing a delay and backup getting in.  I don't know if they were doing this last year but I remember when I had a parking pass you just had to show it and they waived you in.  So if you are using a parking pass I would advise getting there early

I have always had my parking passes scanned since they began issuing parking passes with bar codes. I always arrive early, so I haven't experienced a delay. But I can imagine that is an issue when you get close to game time.

Those rows in the back were not for sale at all last year.  Not even on stubhub. I think row 16 was the furthest up you could buy.  It looks like Skins are selling to ticket brokers again and it looks like they are starting out with high prices for these seats and SRO seats.  Skins must be pressuring them to start out high.

I know the Redskins said they were not selling those tickets but there were dozens of people in every section at every game last year. Either they bought tickets or they were squatters. But if squatters, why sit way in the back and not up front in the obstructed view seats where there is little if any obstruction.

I'm talking about the seats from row 15 on up in the 200 level.  Check them out on ticketmaster they are priced over $200 each.

Then that's not the Redskins selling those tickets. At $200 per ticket is way over the face value. Someone has bought tickets and is trying to make a profit. A serious profit.

I'm  in row 7 and my tickets are $131 each. And in the past, the obstructed view tickets sold by the Redskins was about half that.

But as I said, seats in the middle of rows 14-about 19 can be excellent seats, and a real bargain if there is a true sellout . 🤣 No real obstruction. But you really have to sit in the seat you want to verify there is no obstruction. That's why the Redskins used to let people come to the stadium and sit in the seats before buying a single season pass.

I could swear I saw people sitting in them last year.  I think maybe the Skins were not offering them as SEASON tickets, but I could be wrong. I seem to recall Lafemina and Co. saying that those seats were prone to be occupied more by visiting fans (shrug)

I did notice on Stubhub that the upper level SRO seats are available for purchase. Those sections I believe were closed/roped off last season.

You weren't imagining that. I saw quite a few people sitting in those obstructed view seats behind me all season long. Not a lot....but a fair number of folks. Just as many Redskins fans as visiting fans IMHO.

Not sure where else to put this question so I’ll ask here. I’m currently looking at buying tickets for the jets game and I found some in lower level section 214 row 1. Now I know some sections in the 200 level are limited or obstructed view curious to know if anyone knows whether these seats would be limited or obstructed? I don’t wanna buy them if they are.

Avoid the first 3-4 seats at each end of the row. The railings slope upward and are often at eye level when you are sitting in your seats. If you are real tall, it's not so much of a problem. Personally, I prefer to start in row 2 or 3 because of the metal railings. On the other hand, you get a little more leg room and a ledge to put your drink and  food on.

True obstructed views are only on the visitor side and begin in row 14. Rows 13 down are fine.

If it were me, I would avoid section 214 or any other corner end zone seats. Just really bad angles to watch the game. Either look for sideline or the true end zone seats. Watching from the end zone lets you seen all the running and passing lanes open up. Very unique view of the football game. A pain when the teams are at the other end of the field but you do have the Video screen directly in front of you. Lots of fun when the Redskins are coming at you.

I noticed on ticketmaster the Redskins have began selling the terrible obstructed view seats behind row 15 in the 200 level again.  They had stopped selling these the last two years because they were so terrible but I guess they started reselling through a third party again.  The prices are pretty steep so there will be a lot of angry fans in the 200 level of the visitor side this year.

They are not all terrible. Some are actually quite good, particularly those in the middle of rows. The problem is the "good" seats vary from section to section as you move around the stadium because of the angle you are sitting from the pillars. If you are way back in the section, then the overhead view of punts and kickoffs will get cut off. Depending on what you pay, those seats can be a bargain. Remember, obstructed view seats ONLY exist on the visitors side. All home field side 200 level seats are some of the best seats in the house.

Doesn't apply to me...but what if someone doesn't OWN a computer. There's no way a person should be required to use technology to access tickets they've already paid for. There should always be a fall-back option, in other words actual physical tickets to be used at the gate.

Oh come out of the dark ages. There are free computers all over the place; local library; coffee shops; your friend's house; work; etc. EVERYTHING is going digital. Yes, it is a transition phase. And the Redskins are having difficulties. They have said they had issues with their ticket company printing and shipping the tickets in a timely manner. Their contractor apparently failed them. There ARE options. One can always go to the ticket window at FedEx if you really can't find a computer and don't have a cell phone. Do you REALLY have no friends that could help you; someone with a cell phone or computer? Or do you just enjoy ****ing? Geez.....

Oh, by the way, several NFL and NBA (perhaps even MLB) teams ONLY use digital tickets. They do not even offer a paper ticket option. Although I would bet any team would be happy to print them out and mail them to you if you really are off the grid.

Not sure if you can access parking with a digital pass. In the past you couldnt

    I did last year.

Not every person owns a cell phone. I don't. A "digital ticket" wouldn't help me whatsoever.

Then use a computer and go to your account and print out your ticket. Yes, we should have our tickets by now. But there are other solutions than just ****ing.

  7. Just use the Redskins app. Your digital tickets are right there if you completed your payment for your season tickets. Sign into your account and follow directions. Geez......

I don't have my paper tickets yet either; nor an email.

I will say, I started this season in the Green Lot and now after being upgraded to orange I paid my final invoice today.... I now have purple parking. This is amazing. Less walking but more traffic! I can't wait and I am not being sarcastic. I have been waiting for purple parking for years!

It could be less traffic for you, actually. You now have more entrance lanes than green parking which means you often can coast right in to your parking lot. And if you are on the lower level, you likely will get out to your car before the hoards leave thus letting you leave the parking lots ahead of most folks and on the highway with fewer cars. Dealing with pedestrians ignoring the parking attendants and jaywalking is a pain. But once onto your main road, you can have little traffic getting onto your highway of choice.

But it is interesting that they are upgrading you from green to purple. Do you have premium seats like Club or better; or just regular STH seats?

I live about 35min or so from Harrisburg, I guess there are a bunch of us coming from this direction. I have 1 ticket also, I don't know anyone else who really cares. It's a big commitment going to every game, time, money etc... It would be nice to have another ticket sometimes, but most of the time it would be hard to find someone that wanted to go along for free. I just can't justify the cost. I generally like going to the games by myself and I've become friends with the people I sit next to. Also coming from this direction I like where the stadium is at. I know it's an unpopular opinion, but as far as I'm concerned they can just keep it there.

I live in Hampden Township near Harrisburg and have been a season ticket holder for 17-18 years now. It is an easy drive down. Better than what most MD and VA folks have. I guess I am an eternal optimist and hope this year will be a playoff year. There are some of us who just will not give up on the team.

Hey man I live in Dauphin!!  Do you ever go to Zembies?

Most away games that are not on local tv. Probably at Zembies 5-6 times per hear to watch Redskins games with my friends. We sit in the back because we are not smokers. The bar gets kind of smoky. Hail!

I got a text too the other day.  So now I've gotten 2 calls and 1 text in a week period.  A little excessive if you ask me.  Also pretty sure I never gave them permission to text me.  If I don't know you personally you shouldn't be sending me a text message.

Federal law is that if you do business with someone, they have a right to call and text you. You usually can always opt out. Just call the Skins Ticket Office. I'm sure they will remove you from all marketing calls and texts.

Has anyone heard how we will be getting discount through Fanatics? I want to order and elite jersey but want that discount

When you receive your season tickets, you will receive a discount code. In the past, it was always 25% off.

  13. I am a little shocked there has been so little communication about upgrades on this thread. In the past, it was pretty active during the upgrade period. Doesn't bode well for filling the stadium with Redskins fans this season.😟

I moved yesterday from 238 to 203 row 4. Last year was my first year in the lower level and I loved it. It is a game changer for me  to get out more timely since my drive is so far. These are close to being perfect seats for me. The 200s on the home side line at the 50 are my dream seats.

Exactly! I park in the handicapped lot and I can leave and miss all the traffic. HUGE advantage!!! I have to drive back to Harrisburg PA; so I have a long drive also.

    Hail!

    I lied.

Me, Mrs Skinsfan and friends of ours, who sat together in 237, took those 4 seats in the last row of 204.

That puts us closer to the 50, still under cover, and no one behind us. That also puts us closer to our tailgate, (5 minute walk), and we're near a bunch of our friends that we tailgate with.

    Perfect seats!

I used to sit in section 238 and then 239. I considered those seats in 204 but I am near the 40 yard line on the visitors side and didn't want to drop back to the 5-10 yard line. The 200 level on the home side are definitely the best seats in FedEx IMHO. Congrats. Lets hope lots of others buy season tickets. I really don't want another disaster like the Eagles game last year.

  17. A little disappointed. I was hoping to move back to the home side this year. But no good Section 200 options for me. I moved down one row in section 220, directly in front of my old seats.

For those looking for good sideline seats, there are quite a few available; although I would have expected more. Here is what I can see between the goal lines starting from the 50 yard line and moving towards the goal lines:

    Home Side:

    102 - 1

    141 - 1

    103 - 36

    203 - 2

    140 - 36

    139 - 96

    104 - 106

    204 - 7

    Visitor Side:

    221 - 6

    222 - 8

    120 - 8

    220 - 27

    123 - 6

    223 - 37

    124 - 42

    224 - 48

    119 - 47

    229 - 18

    128 - 84

    228 - 19

    125 - 58

    225 - 36

  18. I know people always complain because they didn't get something shiny that the new season ticket holder is getting. That's called marketing. EVERY company does it. The Redskins are no different. STHs, like me, already have season tickets. They do not need to entice me. They are trying to entice those who used to be STHs and who have never been STHs. It is quite logical and I never understood the hate. Also, current STHs may want to buy additional tickets. So yes, offering season tickets to existing STHs is perfectly logical too.

I also got the email offer. Some have expressed concern why they are offering seats in the lower bowl before letting us STHs a crack at an upgrade. When I looked for seats, the best seats were in the end zone. None on the side lines. So I am taking them at their word that they are still reserving the best seats for upgrades on the sidelines.

It was a one day offer. I'm guessing the Redskins were trying to measure how much new interest there is after the draft, in particular, drafting Haskins.

Anyone talk to the ticket agents and see when upgrade options go out?

Last year my seat picking time was May 17. I'm pretty early on the list. I think more senior STHs started about May 15. Hopefully I can move back to the Home side this year. I'm about the 35 yard line, lower level on the visitors side.

It was mid to late June in 2017.

Had season tickets for 9 years now and never got invited to the food tasting event.  Thought that was always for Club seat folks.

I'm pretty sure, we always got email invitations to the food tasting event over the past several years. Being in PA, I did not go.
