  1. Although there are some tantalizing interior options in FA and Day 2 of the draft, given resource constraints, I am currently thinking Wylie at LG for 2024 and taking a guy in Day 3 who could step in in 2025 to start. Wylie’s net cap hit is $2M with keeping him vs cutting him (as a pre June 1 cut).
  2. Wasn’t it our very own Trent Green who got hurt in 99 before Kurt took over? Kurt was already an older player by then after having been cut in TC and playing in the AFL and NFL Europe
  3. Before anyone suggests Whitehair, the guy is washed. It'd be like signing Norwell and Turner
  4. It's a no brainer. He is not going to be expensive coming off a partially torn ACL. Need to keep our first team All Pro / special teams leader
  5. 2 of the reasons things failed in Carolina: 1) Tepper had a major hand in pulling the staff together and that included keeping holdovers from the prior staff. He would have 1:1s with those holdovers and undermined Reich 2) They got QB wrong and offense was ultimately anemic. Their defense was actually solid last year given the context of the offense. They are keeping Evero around
  6. Yep. Great get. Apparently he is extremely bright. Assuming Brian Johnson gets poached, my guess is Pritchard moves up to PGC and Blough becomes QB coach
  7. The Eagles used position flex on Cam Jurgens. Was a center at Nebraska and has played guard in the NFL so far. He is going to take over for Kelce next year. I think Barton is a Pro Bowler type at either guard or center. He would be a nice get at 36 and is a Day 1 starter who would solidify the interior.
  8. Kyle doesn’t hire all these stud coaches by blocking them when they want other opportunities. The Cowboys blocking coaches from interviewing here will hurt them as they build out their next staff
  9. Al Shaair fits sooooo well. Won’t break the bank, a Peters find in SF, green dot, plays the pass really well. The last part complements Jamin’s skillset Winfield is a center fielder FS. I would be shocked if he is not tagged. Teams don’t let young first team All Pros walk. Forrest had takeaways a couple years ago but had none this year. It’s a stretch to call him a ballhawk. He can’t really play single high either. I think he is best in the box as a SS @Skinsinparadise was the first guy on his trail but McKinney is an excellent fit
  10. This EDGE class is indeed deep. You get what you pay for with a bunch of these guys. Greenard missed a lot of games. Huff can’t defend the run. Clowney has a troublesome knee. Smith is old. Not saying don’t sign any of these guys but go eyes wide in, which I’m sure they’ll do
  11. Very high chance of Al Shaiir. One of Peters's famous finds as a UDFA. Ok against the run but very good against the pass and wore the green dot in TN this year playing with a lot of bums. TN fans like him and want to keep him. He really complements Jamin well as Jamin's strengths are rushing the passer and playing the run. I also think it is a lock Fowler comes here as a rotational guy. He's now been with Quinn with the Falcons and Cowboys. Someone else suggested Hennessy as a solution at starter. He is a backup
  12. How has Cosmi not been mentioned yet? He had a Pro Bowl caliber season this year. If he can stay healthy (big if), he has a great shot at being an All Pro next year assuming he gets to play next to a better center and RT
  13. This is a departure from what I've said in the past but this is something they could explore. The Quinn hire showed they don't really care what fans think. I would want 3 1sts, their 2nd this year and the underrated franchise LT Kolton Miller (which may not be possible if they are gung ho on a QB). I would also consider 2 1sts + Crosby. I would also want Peters, Quinn and KK to have a QB they really like outside of the top 3 guys. Maybe that is someone like Pratt.
  14. There's three. I have Odunze clearly in that tier too. He too is a rare prospect and he would've been the highest rated guy in that deep 2022 WR draft as an example
  15. Higgins is nowhere near the player Evans is. One guy is a future HOFer, the other has not made a single Pro Bowl.
  16. To the point others have made, I wouldn’t mind Brian Johnson as the QB coach. He did a great job grooming Hurts from a rookie to where he is now. He was just over his head when it came to running the team as an OC
  17. You realize that Lynn was fired midseason by the Lions in his last OC stint and then Ben Johnson took the offense over and turned it around right? Why would you discount Fleury? Doesn’t it tell you something he has gotten considered for multiple OC gigs despite spending most of his career on the defensive side of the ball. I think he could be a more experienced Slowik given the prior experience on the defensive side of the ball and the time spent in football research (many here probably don’t know Slowik worked at PFF for a bit)
  18. The guy to keep an eye on in SF is Brian Fleury. He has already taken interviews for OC gigs despite spending most of his career on the defensive side of the ball. Look at his background - he spent a stint as an exec doing football research for the Dolphins. It is pretty easy to tell he is highly intelligent
