  1. That whole franchise is one of the few the makes less sense then ours does.
  2. Not at all, people dont die until they are forgotten. That's why its so important that no one has killed him yet and made him into more of a cult figure then he already is. He loves the attention, so curious what will happen when MAGA starts to separate from giving Trump fallacio in order to get what it wants. The Trump clones already exist, they are the ones winning elections with his playbook, we saw that in 2018 and him calling out Republicans who lost who didnt want to be a Trump clone.
  3. Pretty much, by most definitions, hes already lost it. Really dont care, if he breaks a law, can we stop him, that's the test of our institutions. Hes gonna act like an ass until hes dead in the ground, he will NEVER shut up.
  4. Guess you'd have to define "losing it". He can temper tantrum all he wants up until the point he actually commits an illegal act. Theres a lot that goes into thise sworn to protector the dictator actually doing it, I'm not sold how much if any of that Trump has in his favor inside the White House that can actually protect him. Bolton is not taking or firing bullets for Trump, Mattis is who Trump needs and most likely to tell him no in the administration at this rate.
  5. I'm down. May want to give it more time to see if we can get some more east coast or midwest states so not everyone has to come out west (do want to come out to Colorado, though) Feeling nothing actually is probably the key. Not getting high had me curious, though I'd have to make sure as some samples are still tainted with enough THC to fail a test, that's how unregulated it is. But weed helps mediumize what im going through, like if I smoke nonstop all day the effects I'm treating with medication do feel muffled, it helps no question, huge reason why I keep doing it. If I can get that same nothingness and mediumness, which to me would be huge, ya, means I dont have to get high to get help I need, I wont have to give that trade off, even if I enjoy it.
  6. We should all be happy the Secret Service hasnt taken to the late Praetorian Guard approach to dealing with this situation already. By a lot of accounts we look like we are failing this outright test of our democracy, I'd argue after the midterm results we are passing.
  7. Ya, part of my dream is not taking prescription meds unless I have to, but I can't be high all day in order to pull it off. Goin to talk to physchatrist about it, see what she says, too, especially with different levels and in reference to what I'm already taking
  8. I'm not concerned about general bone spurs running a hostage situation, cat too scared to visit troops in a warzone has too small a penis to be talking about any sort of in house armed conflict or coup. Most branches are sworn to protect the United States from agents both foreign and domestic, plus required to adhere to established law. Too many people threaten to resign when he brings up ideas that would get him kicked out off office, I eont believe very much of anyone will have his back in there if he finally flips his **** and tries to fulfill his dictorial dreams.
  9. Does what Wall did this past offseason calling on front office to get younger bug man after his year long spat with Gortat not count? Maybe Beal was the most direct by pointing at Ernie, so in that you maybe right. This isnt so much to me as real first to call out front office, more first tocall out Ernie in a way that could affect his cloak of invisible disaster. You might as well blow it up if Beal is traded, you can't save this team without its second best player. @stevemcqueen1 is right, that is a horrible trade possibility with Charlotte, a division rival, and I'd go ai far as to say we wont get equal value in any trade for Beal so ultra not worth it.
  10. Jus got back from Cali, had an interesting experience with CBD oil. Do any of y'all have any positive or negative experience with it? Did some reading, supposed to have some benefits to smoking without the THC, though very unregulated and new so limited research to support my theory this is worth me looking into. Happy medium between what I'm doing and what I'm risking.
  11. Id rather have Zion then Otto, but can't support losing to get him. I hate loses, it breeds bad habits and tension. How we gonna explain in Teds take to now tank after accumulating this roster this season, underachieving like this? The culture of losing needs to change or the new players will lose two. Do have a list of potentional gms we can pull from?
  12. Okay, maybe I need a reminder, but why is Netflix jumping ship on marvel again?
  13. Would be nice. Putting this out there but definetly the case can be made he already is, even without a ring.
  14. A lot of people are going to miss this because of everything else you post and say so im going to quote it for you. Different perspective of what we've done while still wanting the same thing for our future. That's going to be a process and will never be perfect. I still dont agree with your stance not to name a moral leader, there's nothing to compare to in this case for reference except your opinion, there's very few places to go from at that point in the discussion.
  15. I already asked that and he said it doesnt matter to this discussion.
  16. Ted's other teams may be the worst thing that coulda happened to us. The combination of content arrogance that this ship will just keep hitting icebergs and make it to shore anyway is maddening. For all we know they get hot at the right time and do damage in the playoffs. This "should I be happy in the heat in the moment" is scarily similar to what I'm going through with the redskins right now. I'm still going to make a "It Starts at the Top" shirt and where to the game night before the eagles game. I'm not going to root against them, I can't do it, y'all do it for me. Trust the Process to whom?
  17. That was a yes or no question, not a fit in your answer to get around the fact people disagree with you. A lot of people disagree with you, here and abroad, that we were never moral leaders. You didn't address our contributions to the UN or our aid to humanitarian causes at all. How many international natural disasters has our military shows up, something I don't recall militaries being used for prior to that on the level that we do? Define compromised? Like we looked out for ourselves at same time as our part of the deal to push for the democratic and capitalistic society we for the most part take for granted today? Oh yea, what we did to Iran was messed up with the coups, and even tough there's no way Obama coulda fixed the damage done by that, insisting on the Iran Deal instead of invading (which Israel and Saudi Arabia wanted) was the right message to send to countries we don't get along with. I don't always agree with you, I don't always disagree with you, I can't co-sign to this one. Think you should start a separate thread on this topic, I don't think the world needs us like it did immediately after world war 2 so our relationship with the world should be re-evaluated. But not in this thread, this is an immigration thread. US has earned the right for people to be angry at them, I just don't get what you are shooting for in general, not just here. Can't change the past Benning, most of us here either know it or running from it. Now what? if that's how you really feel, I can understand why, but now what?
  18. I wish that if a company knows this is the direction they want to go along with rest of the industry to not just throw the people they don't want anymore to the wolves. I'd like to see something where companies that lay people off due to going in a new direction technology wise either pay to train them for the new technology instead or assist in their retraining for a new industry. Government should also see this coming and not just sit on their hands like they did with coal industry.
  19. Yep, free pick with no local team Any word if that even bothers Ted like it bothers Snyder?
  20. See Beal said he wanted to say, that's encouraging. Along with not being blown out already.
  21. I didn't say it couldn't, you're saying we never were, which I don't agree with. We have obviously made mistakes, things we should not have done. Are you arguing that everything we've down wrong negates everything we've done right? You also didn't answer my question on who the moral leader was in the 20th century even if we aren't right now under Trump. Maybe we are talking about two different things, in that you are saying that we weren't moral leaders and I'm saying that a lot of the world still looked at us that way, especially in comparison to other countries like Russia and China. Let's be clear before we get off topic that as of right now we are setting a terrible example in regards to dealing with these people seeking asylum. But we were also instrumental in the creation of the international system setup via the United Nations for asylum in the first place.
  22. 24/7? Please, in that case none of us qualify, not even you.
  23. There's a difference between being hypocritial at points in our history and saying we never were moral leaders. Thats too far and a lot of people overseas don't feel THAT way about us, more somewhere in the middle. Stuff like the civil rights movement and civil rights act were and still are a big deal. To say we never were a moral leaders begs the question if there ever was one, another reason I get where you are coming from, but thats too far.
