As much as I’d love for team the invest at RB in the 2nd, I just can’t see how that would come to fruition given the current roster. Unless they really like a guy. I agree there are some later WRs that are certainly talented, A Miller is getting that Kendall Wright comp from nfl.com. He’s 24... I think he’ll be productive but maybe not for his rookie season given the talent jump. He’s got great hands and is scrappy but yeah he’s running like a 4.53 which is good but not elite... I’m still watching a lot on C Kirk (imagine that) and dude is probably gonna climb big after the combine because he will test very well. Remember McCaffrey last year? Had a great combine and ended up going top ten. if Kirk runs sub 4.4, which is the rumor... Well, you cant coach that, it’s pretty dang rare to my eye. the offense needs effective speed to stretch the field, creating space for the RBs, space for Reed, Doctson, eveything opens up. Impact return game too- special teams/ avg field position was an underrated weaknesss as well. I clearly think he has superstar potential... the SEC was triple covering him most of the time last season... he must be accounted for... AS knows the plays and the ways to utilize a Tyreek piece... it’s a copy cat league. For sure check out Keim’s article on this. The FO really will want the Alex Smith arrival to pan out too, I think, so there is added pressure to have the offense work... they are looking for an offensive weapon at WR2, it’s safe to assume. The only question is, will they invest big with the 1st rounder? Or will they possibly overpay for a FA WR that wasn’t good enough to get a contract from the team they were just on? I mean we’ll see! It also comes down to how ready they think JDoc is. If they need a #1 guy then it might have to be FA. If they feel like JDoc can take that next step, then it’s time to fill that hole in the offense that d Jack left and get that added speed and dynamic playmaker/movable piece. And gamebreaking return man. once again lots of depth to tackle the d line interior in FA or draft. ILB not so much, R Smith may very well not fall to 13 and then what? Maybe we scoop vanden Bosch in the 2nd if we’re lucky? To me the move is z Brown, he had a great season, great speed, pay him but not too much! Safety I see DJ as team leader, Monte as young centerfielder, sua as boxsafety/ nickel LB, yes Sua! Draft depth at safety sure but I don't think S is a top need. I dig Tremon Edwards as S, tremaine’s brother I think. D James is a physical specimen and is assuming he can stay healthy will an all pro safety in a couple of years, and might be BPA at 13.

@fordranger76 yeah I’ve peeped him, yes similar in ways to Kirk, great in space, built like an RB, I can dig it. The question is can he come in and contribute immediately? It’s very possible. He’s had some positive trending on the boards lately. But does he have that breakaway speed?? We’ll see how they all test.

Lovin this big board to get an interesting take on some of the names we are throwing around here per Cagen Cantrell: http://breakingfootball.com/2018-nfl-draft-roquan-smith-tops-latest-top-50-big-board/ *one of the positions he can play is RB. Seriously. Sure, only for a handful of carries- but there are numerous creative possibilities. He appears and moves more like an RB in space to me than a WR.

@fordranger76 really solid stuff. i recall the team sayin, when asked about NT last camp, that they want guys that can play anywhere on the DL, which lends itself to them kicking inside in nickel and being versatile. To me I agree that H Phillips would be a great fit and sort of follow that same mold. Coming from Wisconsin right, his competition level is decent. I worry some about era from the pac 12 in the 1st round, but I don’t have a lot of intel to back that up... VV is all flash and no real production to lean on. Also you have the two guys from Ohio state that can be effective inside, then also like Rasheem green... like I said I dig settle, even Trenton Thompson has shown out well in the sec no less. Ideally I see two DL additions while maybe letting go of McClain which might make sense: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/washington-redskins/positional/ re RB I am totally with you that there is wonderful talent this year and that a great RB could be had in the early rounds. It would be a reach to snag say, Guice in the 1st. If Saq falls then yeah, but that’s Probably not going to happen... 2nd round you have a handful of backs that could be there. I think teams value speed too much to have RJ fall to us in the 2nd, but if that happens we should pull the trigger. then there’s the obligatory conversation re run blocking and our backs. They have had very little room to operate. I think a major acquisition on the interior d line would go a long way for the backs we have. I watched a lot of tape on Perine last year and I do think he can really make a difference. Best 4 minute back in the country they said when he was coming out. i just don’t know if they will go after an RB at all given the signing of Bibbs and the current ‘depth’ they have at the position. I want them to bring someone in tho! I still gotta drop names like John Kelly, and even bo Scar, gimme one of those guys in the 4th. i agree that a trade back would be great. The good news is we’re just in front of the cardinals and someone might want a lamar Jackson or josh Allen and w’re sitting in a great spot. If we fill WR in FA then I would be more for the trade. Like last year, WR might go earlier than folks think.

Or Draft denzel Ward mike Hughes Duke Dawson Darius Phillips or FAs Kyle fuller EJ Gaines Etc

@fordranger76 i am so diggin on pretty much everything you’re saying right now. So the stats you’re producing, that’s like a market share kinda thing right?? Sorry just wanna be clear. I love this approach because these are just like, tangible statistics that are being analyzed... I too have seen that VV just isn’t showing the production. Everyone loves him, he’s flashy and a behemoth, but can he be productive? Interesting to hear and your points re H Phillips as he seems to fit that more versatile guy that the skins like, can rush the passer and play the run, and he has shown his ability to do so by making solo tackles... among other things... I read somewhere that the worst run d was when we were in nickel, so is the biggest need an NT or are we talking about an interior pass rushing specialist a la Jonathan Allen? That seems to be the trend NFL in this passing league... Also notable the value of WRs is greater in said league. R Kelley’s time needs to run it course. I agree completely that he clearly misses open lanes and has poor vision. I mean dang I like the guy but we gotta talk R Kelley. I can see them adding an RB in the later rounds because it’s such a deep class this year. How does Ballage settle in here in the table? So many great late round talents, why not burn a 5 or a 6 on one and see how it goes? nyhiem Hines maybe? He will go earlier, but depth for sure. also in the DT mold Tim Settle is a guy I like to watch. It’ll be interesting to see how Torrian Gray’s VT roots will influence the draft... editing in this gem from Keim on the nickel run D: http://www.espn.com/blog/washington-redskins/post/_/id/35642/jonathan-allen-alex-smith-can-help-redskins-improve-four-ugly-numbers
  8. Here’s a couple important quotes from Gruden that may shed some light on how the team feels about its depth: gruden on Moreau: On Ryan Anderson: http://www.redskins.com/news/article-1/Rookie-Recap-How-The-Washington-Redskins-2017-Draft-Class-Performed/1b8ee1d2-bee0-4281-b01d-7600a7cd10bd also on a side note, do we think we’ll bust out the dreaded franchise tag on another player this year? Z Brown? Breeland? Maybe not Breeland if Jay is saying he thinks Moreau can be a shut down corner. Dang a rang... Was a borderline 1st round projection before he tore his pectoral.

    4.39 Approx 40 per nfldraftscout.com
  10. @Skinsinparadise Right on, Don't get me wrong, folks and fans are free to think and feel what they want about the trade, I didn't love it at first and still dont, but I can understand, a little, with the limited information I have, why it went down the way it did. I think the hype train is leaning more toward the negative aspects of bringing in AS, I tend to feel like he *could* be an upgrade for the team, but that remains to be seen, and until we get into the season it'll all just be speculation. And that's an interesting point about the media saying they are for sure going after a FA deep threat WR. I don't see it really working out that well given the reasons I mentioned, but hey, I'm a redskin fan, I am used to being disappointed. and if that happens, then I will concede I don't know what the team knows and I don't see what the coaches see so there ya go. If I were making decisions though, based on the info I have, which again is limited, I would balance the cap with the value of FAs based on team needs and address everything accordingly, as I have laid out in my approach in these threads. I believe the first step should be someone like Star Lutululei or someone else that can come in and make an impact, and we should more than likely draft a guy as well? I just think the supply of FA in these positions, DT, ILB, CB, makes sense to spend *some* money there. WR is overpriced, I mean P Rich will be about 7 million per year which I think is a lot for him given his track record, but hey, then I hope he comes in and stretches the field and wrecks defenses.
  11. @Skinsinparadise good chat re QB. I understand that redskins nation is upset about how everything went down. And we are right to keep the criticism on the FO and such, but we also have to pick up the pieces and move on. We don’t have all the info right, i mean, keeping Cousins, among other considerations, was going to cost too much. now getting back to FA targets, man I just don’t see how, after we lost two extremely productive WRs, then tried to unsuccessfully replace one with Pryor, that we would turn around and frankly overpay for any of these FA targets. Richardson has some upside I suppose, but also “disappeared” for stretches and battled injuries. They gotta be feeling pretty good about the way Doctson is coming along and to me balancing him with a major upside dynamic speed playmaker in the draft makes by far the most sense. Richardson is not the movable piece Tyreek Hill type. great speed tho- flat 4.4 and decent workout, only 175lbs per playerprofiler.com: https://www.playerprofiler.com/nfl/paul-richardson/ i’d take my chances in the draft on the next ODB. golden Tate with a jet pack. FA could address any of these: DT, OG, ILB, CB. I think logically we’d see them probably sign FA ILB and CB given the market supply. DT too has options, less so at OG. Whatever they don’t scoop in FA of these positions I see a window in the 2nd where many of these needs could be met. RB I don’t think they are going to do much. Might take a late round flyer or UDFA but they have a full room with the Bibbs contract. And I like Bibbs, good size, but he tested slower than Perine at 4.67. I just don’t see them making a huge move there, unless of course, they do. edit: I’m also not one of these folks that thinks the defense is in shambles. I’m considering the brutal situation with injuries this year, I mean, that had to have been league worst in terms of the injury bug. But when healthy, there are playmakers on the defense. Watched the card game from last year and we’re getting great pressure. Preston Smith had a huge game, as did Lanier though he’s not ready just yet to start, he is a solid pass rusher. We have Ryan Anderson waiting in the wings as he develops and dude was a force at Bama, so, I don’t see that many holes in the D. Cut McClain maybe, sign an FA DT and add a young guy in the later rounds as DT is deep!, Fa sign ILB, and maybe a corner though we may turn to the draft for a CB. If Denzel Ward is there when we are picking we might choose him. Still will be legit options in the 4th round for CB as well, and of course we could always resign Breeland if we want. The offense must improve however, and even though we were 12th in passing offense last year, we still need playmaking assets that are young and will bring serious mojo.
  12. @Skinsinparadise I hear ya, it’s definitely jarring, the way the whole thing went down, so sudden. I guess there’s just nothing we can do about it, so I’m just tryna accept it and see the silver lining. Alex Smith is a quality starting QB and that’s rare... and we timed it well in the pre-Garrapolo market. (Now w AJ McCarron on the loose it’s getting interesting.). Clearly the team didn’t believe in any of the young rookie QBs, and that was tough for me because I could see a brand new era forming around some of them. And now we have Alex Smith. Keep in mind he was the #1 overall selection many years ago. Tom Brady is 40. QBs are living longer these days... I think Grudens scheme requires a savvy leader at the helm. The offense would have been shackled and bound with a rookie signal caller. Obviously things went sideways with Cousins and the organization. Our FO is scary but at the same time the team is headed in the right direction, I think. Plus doesn’t Jay have a say in all of this commo? Gotta be honest with you guys, I trust him. I think he’s the best coach we’ve had in some time.
  13. I think signing Alex Smith was a really solid idea though giving up what we gave up is tough, imagine if he had hit he market, probably wouldn’t have landed him. I think AS is an upgrade over Cousins especially if Cousins was giving the mixed signals vibe per CT. This is kinda rumor-ie, petty reporting unfortunately. Josh Norman isn’t going anywhere and if he is, then I’ll believe it when I see it. Sua would make a little more sense but still holding out hope there. tag and trade is at least worth looking into, right? Wouldn’t someone want the exclusive rights to Cousins? It’s not out of the question that there isn’t value there. You may get nothing, but that’s what you’re getting from it anyway sooo.... sure. Tag and trade. No one buying? Ok, worth trying. Have fun with the bidding war! Doug Farrar mirroring my point this eve:

@Skinsinparadise thats good to know re Vea. I mean I like him too, and his talent it there. Just playing devils advocate- i will find some more info on this but there are some that feel his is overrated, and sometimes takes plays off. In his defense I have seen D Payne do that as well. Plus the pac 12, I mean they have good talent, but it's not the SEC. I just wonder how he would do against professional graters. Probably pretty good! My point with avoiding DT in the 1st is just that the team has many needs, and DT is probably the 1st thing they need to fill. There are however deeper options in the draft, there's great depth at DT in the draft and we have the coaching to wait until a later selection (maybe even 2nd), plus many FA options exist. It will depend on how they feel about Vea/Payne if they arent active with the position come next month. I just don't feel like it's the same situation with WRs. Mostly overpriced cast offs dominate the meager WR FA market and we have a big need there as well, to me it almost has to be WR in the 1st, although I will concede that DJ Chark is becoming more and more interesting to me and could be had in the 2nd. DJ Moore is intriguing as well but to me they are not day one contributors but that remains to be seen. Re R Smith and the nickel, he has great speed and great coverage skills (in college), so that should translate. I worry about his size honestly at 220 and change. having that properly rounded QB Mike LB is crucial. again many options in FA as well as we are all discussing. So i like these players, I just think there are a number of ways to go to fill the need and get solid production; with WR, not as many options. I do think Jonathan Allen will have a more impactful career that any of the 1st round DTs (i know not the same position) but still lets not forget we just got "the guy" and he didnt even play 5 games. Will be interesting to see how it all shakes out.

Good intel here. I love me some Ballage, dude could be great. Deep threats yes, but immediate day 1 WR2, probably not. I dig Keke though. lets see how they run... Hard to argue with the Vea and R Smith love. Both are outstanding and will make a difference, and the point about R Smith protecting you in the nickel, is that against the run? Thats where its been the worst run defense correct? so yeah. But also keep in mind Su'a could help us in the nickel as well... I have heard some negatives on Vea though in terms of his production, work ethic, that kind of thing, but i still think he would be great, especially if he can get after the passer which I had also heard some criticism there. But yeah big athletic dude. a presence.

Looking just a little bit more at these nfldrsftscout.com stats and pointing out the anamolous- they have Roquan running a 4.54. If he somehow crushes his 40 at the combine he could break 4.5 and that would be... very rare speed for an ILB. http://www.nfldraftscout.com/members/ratings/tsx_players.php?genpos=ILB&draftyear=2018&sortorder=tsxpos&order=ASC interestingly enough, in comparison, found Zach Brown's draft profile- he ran a 4.5 at 244 lbs. http://www.nfl.com/combine/profiles/zach-brown?id=2532804

@Skinsinparadise word up! The combine will be huge in determining these players' avails for our 2nd. I guess the point is we have multiple possible options in the 2nd to add an dynamic RB; or DT; or OG. Continuing, though, on RB, I have noticed the same trends with the aforementioned RBs. Guice i have seen slip and to be honest i'm not sure why; dude to me is a 1st rounder. According to nfldraftscout.com and their approximated 40 times, this is what is projected, I suppose, for RBs, in terms of... 40 times: Ronald Jones 4.39 K Johnson 4.45 (!) Josh Adams 4.48 Saquan 4.49 Mark Walton 4.49 k Ballage 4.49 Guice 4.52 Penny 4.52 Sony 4.53 (?) J Kelly 4.53 Im really not sure how they get these times but here they are, they even have a high and a low on their individual profiles.

@Skinsinparadise Love the stats on MT/att. There goes Penny. I get it. I mean dude tore up the Senior Bowl...they keep saying he isnt a great receiver and he caught a huge TD so... yeah i wouldnt be mad. And glad to hear re Sony, and good point about Cook and Kamara fumbling too, and how players can change, I have always thought very highly of Sony, dude is a big time SEC player and will be dynamic in the NFL. He's a difference maker. Is it possible that he or RJ or Guice will be there for us in the 2nd?? Or maybe even Penny or K Johnson? any of them could come in and make a difference.

    2018 Comprehensive NFL Draft Thread

I totally agree, I feel the same way myself. If I had my druthers, I would probably lovingly part ways with R Kelly and seek to find a guy the defense really has to account for; a dynamic back that can run good routes. I think between FA and draft, lots of options to upgrade. and I agree I had a similar time being drawn to Dalvin Cook and envisioning him in the B and G... he's already one of the best backs in the NFL. So lets hash it out a little, who has the most elite upside of the RB options: L Bell (psshhh) J McKinnon (a great value), can be a dynamic option Hyde (sure) Crowell? Jeremy Hill? Rookies: S Barkley (the Johnathan Allen of 2018?) Guice: i like this guy, tons of effort; gets that marshawn lynch comp Ronald Jones: super fast and explosive and would be perfect for us; that speed must be accounted for. I think he's my fave of all these possibilities. the next Jamaal Charles, perfect fit as we replicate KC's offense. Sony: dynamic baller from the SEC but fumble problems from what I have read. K Johnson: I dont love him but others do and I think he could be an asset? Looks like he has a great size/speed combination R Penny? Not very dynamic maybe?? Bo Scar: who doesn't want a Derrick Henry clone? I do. dude is kind of a freak of nature lil bit. John Kelly: peep his game tape vs Florida and you will see. Nyheim Hines? Mark Walton? anybody got sleepers they like?
  20. @UK SKINS FAN '74 We're in an ok spot with cap room. We're not the Browns... but thank gawd right?? Am I right?! Lol ok anyway Yeah addng Norwell could create one of the best OLs in the league. We need that interior push big time so that would be money well spent. However, though I do not know the exact figures, thats a lot of dough on OGs with Sherff but it's worth it...? OL could be FA but draft options exist as well. Yeah I think priority #1 is DT and they'll invest. Probably cut McClain right? take a little cap penalty; team is doing well managing cap penalties thus far so it wouldnt hurt too much... So add this and a late round flyer on a project guy for Tomsula to take the reigns in D line interior. and no doubt @oraphus we are dreaming about L Bell but dang... it's the offseason, thats the whole point. Lets just pretend the front office is reading/lurking on these threads and getting great ideas. and I agree @skinny21 that acquiring Bell would be exorbitant... good to consider the cap space share. but can't rule it out... just yet. Would make fans forget a lil bit about Kirk Cousins leaving. Would upstage his FA bidding IMHO.

    2018 Comprehensive NFL Draft Thread

ahem... who??? Christian KirkCousins??? also I have seen Van Der Esch projecting as an OLB, but yeah great speed and size combo, interesting prospect, but crazy early to take him in the 1st it would seem. Many young FA options at ILB exist: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/free-agents/inside-linebacker/ also we're chatting on RBs in FA this year and thinking about 2019 prospects as well, and there's a possibility that a handful of elite names could be there in the 2nd for us in Guice, RJ, or K Johnson, obviously who knows but its possible. Great value on FA RBs, and yeah, if we do anything at all which we may not. I'll say it again I still like Perine and see his potential as the "thunder". also later round RBs: John Kelly (2nd coming of Kamara in some ways) Bo scar K Ballage (highly productive player) a wadley Darrell Williams (excellent in ball security) Ito Smith?? essentially someone on the team will need to be cut I presume to make an RB add: Kelly (maybe) Perine (nope) Thompson (def nope) Bibbs (just signed) Marshall?? also @fordranger76 this is a great list you have. I was checking out something similar last night on all draft prospects putting the emphasis on their production in school and their "market share" and how they compare to the college careers of NFL players that have succeeded. very interesting insights and names you wouldn't really expect. Some of it is dated though from last spring but it still has merit. https://www.youtube.com/user/bigbass141
  22. word up @skinny21 Yeah Pugh would be decent as well, I'm not too versed on FA OGs but yes ideally we could find a decently priced veteran add instead of relying on developing a rookie to start the season... Lots of DB options, so honestly I wouldnt be mad if they let Breeland walk, I mean lets be honest, he hasn't been great here. He's been good but he's also given up some big plays. Might be time for a change there. and if it ends up being a rookie, then we have Moreau who hopefully can step up and yes Dunbar who they obviously believe in. So I guess we're looking for a nickel perhaps?? some names we could draft at CB if we waited until the 4th to do so: Tony Brown Duke Dawson Donte Jackson (speed) Levi Wallace Rashaan Gaulden Darius Phillips MJ Stewart (seems to show great production in school). another thing to consider is Torrian Gray's presence and the propensity for him to want to draft his guys at VT and there are 2 of them in Brandon Facyson and Greg Stroman. anyway back to FA yes there are a number of young ILBs or vet ILBs that can come in and make a difference over a will compton. Not a ton of ILB in the draft. I do love R Smith's speed and tackling prowess as he is a stalker, however he is shy of 230 which is not ideal. I think we also have Su'a and we'll see how that shakes out, he can and has shown to be an asset in coverage, could be nickel LB kinda thing. and I also love the idea of an RB in the draft as there are many. hoenstly its possible one of these guys could fall to us in the 2nd round and I would scoop in this order: Guice Ronald Jones (4.39!) K Johnson Sony anyone else and I dont see it happening, Chubb is great but to me, too similar to Perine. What if we wait here and dig in next year on this position? Honestly Bryce Love is the one that I want 4.36?!?!, or Damien Harris. Lets fuel up the jet for Leveon. why not take the money we wouldve paid Kirk and get AS and LB? that would epic. but also a pipedream lol. Leveon and Christian Kirk would take the offense over the top. also is worth mentioning that the Steelers' cap situation isnt that great: http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/cap/
  23. @skinny21 right on, I also hope to land an RB if for no other reason, there are RBs a plenty in both FA and the draft: L Bell...? mcKinnon Hyde Crowell anyone else in FA I don’t see it happening because they already have so many RBs it would have to be someone that can really come in and make a big difference. I still have mucho faith in Perine. Dude is a great back, he had so little room to move last season, in his first go, I can see him improving and the coaches liking what they see in him. Although a number of great options are there in the draft should we choose to go that route, of which a handful I would love to see on the team. Would have to probably coincide with cutting a current RB. Could be R Kelly unfortunately. Good news is we can get an affordable FA RB. WR I think again is where we would overpay. We have to ask ourselves, why are these other teams letting them walk? Watkins after one season? Richardson I heard disappears and has had trouble staying healthy. Do we really wanna pay significantly for that sort of production? IDK it’s just it making sense to me. If there was a guy there that could really work out it’d say let’s do it but not really. Albert Wilson has great speed and history with AS so if we don’t bring back Grant then I can see that happening. i have seen some analysis talking about DTs in the draft and apparently the top brass of the class is overrated based on their production, and this includes Payne and Vea. Watch Bama in 2016 and you see Johnathan Allen making the plays. Not overrated. We can sign depth here in the later rounds as we have the coaching to develop the position. TE I also think we’re good at though we make try to find a blocking TE or FB in the late rounds: on a side note has anyone seen the tape on standford TE Shultz? Holy moly he can block. and a trade back is very possible if someone wants a Lamar Jackson. There are two other teams in the teens potentially picking WR though, ravens and cowboys, so it’s dicey!
  24. A few general observations re FAs: -a number of DTs are avail and could come in and fill an immediate need. Lots I think. This is first priority. -There are CBs that could work too, though they will be pretty expensive. -ILB has actually a number of young options. (I like ZB a lot, many ILB options means a more reasonable contract... just take him off the field on passing downs for nickel LB Sua Cravens.) -About 4 FA RBs could come in and make a difference. I think 10m per year for Leveon would be worth it, but I don’t have all the numbers really so not sure if we can afford that. -OG market is pretty weak, aside from Norwell and maybe Mewhort, not a lot happening there. -WR class is kinda weak and overpriced. I wouldn’t mind a depth signing but Jarvis or Richardson or Robinson just isn’t the answer I don’t think. Unproven, injury concerns, and lots of money. Based mostly on FA supply and sort of considering cap space though not thoroughly, and based on draft depth and projections per nfldraftscout.com, here’s where I’m at with how to build the team: FA: sign DT- star Lotulelei is best fit I think. But other options are there. Put in a reasonble offer for an OG that would be an immediate upgrade, only about two of them would be worth it. consider making an offer for a FA RB assuming we have the roster space. L Bell would be dream scenario. Try to find the right FA CB as there are a lot, but we shouldn’t overpay. Sign an ILB. Draft: grab a top two WR in the draft rd 1, must be a WR with a high floor and who can contribute day one (nfldraftscout.com has Kirks 40 at a 4.39, not official... but that’s the speed we need, like Tyreek or ODB “highest floor of any WR”... later round WRs will need to develop more to get on the field, we don’t have that luxury). FAs should fill either OG or RB. Whichever position isn’t filled, great depth here for both positions in the 2nd round after which a major drop off in talent. draft a depth CB or maybe one that could rotate in at nickel. Options avail in the 4th for sure or maybe we find one in the 2nd if we’d fill OG and don’t chase an RB either. late rounds consider Blocking TE, OT, S, DT depth- what if we signed Star Lotululei and drafted Lowell Lotulelei and had his big bro whup him into shape!!! based on FA avails and draft depth, this is how is see it all coming together. Yeah I mean the dude is gonna be very good. He was, of course, underutilized with Bama just as OJ Howard was. I think it would be a good fit. However- give me the all around explosive playmaking athletic gamechanging ability of Kirk over him... Between the Lance Z ranking, and other WR rankings coming out saying he's not even in the top 4 WRs in the class????, im confused with it. Last week Todd and Mel say Kirk is top tier, and then their podcast two days ago didnt even say his name as they spoke at length about WR. They also see the Skins going WR in rd 1 which was interesting but didnt mention the name.... Christian KirkCousins.... http://www.espn.com/espnradio/play?id=22421664 Just peep this tape ES from his rookie season when they actually had a decent O. Just- why not: https://youtu.be/XvH6wSvgB9Y Dude makes a rookie mistake and then takes the game over. Lines up in the backfield, sweeps, screens, takes a slant to the house, gets crazy yardage and hype from a great kick return. Look at him tear it up in Dallas!! I honestly think he's like an emergency RB as well, maybe could be more than that. theres a few plays with him between the tackles and it's impressive, though not in this tape. Once again I'll say that I think Kyle Allen has elite arm talent and can be had in the late rounds or maybe even UDFA. And just one more link lol: http://www.southernpigskin.com/sec/christian-kirk-a-rare-superstar/
