  1. Dejean has injury concerns too. He's going to go in the 1st round however. Buffalo might be a good spot for him. Their entire secondary has been gutted and Elam has been kind of a bust for them. All top 3 CBs are going to go high. I can see Philly trading up to get one of the top 3 CBs. Fangio defenses require them. He drafted Surtain high for a reason in Denver. Last year, he traded for Ramsay. Rams are going to go CB too. Jags need a CB as well. All of them will be gone before the 20s.
  2. I think Kool-Aid (I'm assuming he's your CB4) is going to be there at 36. He has a Jones fracture that will cause him to fall.
  3. It’s the Chargers. I think Zona stays at 4 and takes MHJ. They already have a boatload of picks in this draft. Bolts have been rumored to want to trade down by everyone. Plus, Harbaugh does JJ a solid by getting him to KOC. Bolts take OT at 11 (probably Fuaga) and WR with the Houston first rounder (Thomas?)
  4. I think that is more of a Shanny thing than Peters to be fair. The Shanny's have very specific OL desires. They don't care about pass-blocking on drop back throws. Only care about athleticism and movement. Heck, Shanny only drafted one above average OL here (HOF Trent). He had his busts too (Adam Gettis, Josh LeReibus) here. I wouldn't necessarily correlate Peters with those picks because: a). Shanny runs that organization and b). he has very specific wants for OL. I don't think we're running anything like a Shanty-type offense with Kliff. Regarding your OL assessments, I think Guyton is going to go early. Latham & Fuaga are probably RT only types (maybe Fuaga could shift). Mims has the injury concerns, but he's going to go in the relatively high (Dallas is his floor IMO). Fashanu has the small hand size, but probably goes to NYJ at 10 because they are desperate for a LT and just traded for Morgan Moses to be their RT. Guyton is a LT prospect with his athleticism. He's going to go high in the teens IMO because he's a straight LT (could see him as high as 14 to NO because Penning has busted and they need a LT badly). I think Fautanu is IOL all day and will be intriguing for someone like Seattle at 16 (although they probably want to trade back as they lack a 2nd rounder and lost first 3rd in the trade with us). Morgan had a bad senior bowl apparently, but rumors are that we like him. I think he's a first rounder for sure and SF probably snatches him up if he falls to 31 as he's a Shanny type athletic tackle for sure.
  5. Pauline has really good NY sources. Anything he says about the Jets is close to gospel.
  6. Haha, you just replied to my earlier post. Yeah, an example of a deep trade up would be the Lions trading up for Jameson Williams a couple of years ago. Detroit traded #32+#34+#66 for #12+#46. Would you trade #36+#40+#67 for a pick in the early teens (to take the LT) and a mid-to latish 2nd rounder? I'm not sure. Ah, I must be mistaken. Was listening to Tony Pauline and he said Rosengarten could play LT because he has experience there.
  7. I think my guy might be Rosengarten. I know he looked bad in the championship game, but he has LT experience and was moved to RT because Penix is a lefty. I think he'll be there for sure at our 2nd rounders. Heck, we could trade back and still get him.
  8. I actually think Rosengarten is an intriguing target in R2. He won't make it to our 3rd round pick IMO. He has LT experience and was moved to RT to protect Penix's blindside. Admittedly, he did not have a great championship game, but I wouldn't hate taking him after a small trade down from one of our 2nds.
  9. I actually think most of the OTs are going to be gone. We won't have a chance at drafting them. Every team needs them... 5). Chargers (RT); 7). Titans (LT); 9). Bears (LT); 10). Jets (LT); 13). Vegas (RT); 14). Saints (LT or RT); 18). Cincy (RT); 20). Pittsburgh (RT); 24). Dallas (LT); 30). Baltimore (RT); 31). SF (RT); 32). KC (LT); We'll be left out of the tackle dance IMO. Everyone will be long gone.
  10. It’s the best for Sam to move on. He’s in a great spot to compete with Gino and show them something. We can get a contributor with the move up from the early fourth to the mid 3rd.
  11. Just saw an ad that former 1st rounder Rod Gardner is on the upcoming season of the Amazing Race. Had no idea what he was up to. He's certainly still in insane shape: https://www.cbs.com/shows/amazing_race/cast/216861/ Edit, don't know if this belongs in this forum or the tailgate.
  12. Right now, I think CB and OT are going to be the picks with round 2. Kool-Aid might make it to our pick at 36. We almost have to take OT with one of our 2nd rounders. We have nothing at the position. I know you are a huge Peyton Wilson fan. Would you take him with our early 3rd or take someone like Ellis instead? Wilson's scary medicals might cause him to fall to our early 4th, but I think he eventually gets taken in between then. His tape is too good for him to fall that far.
  13. Yeah, he's probably a 1st rounder, but I'm not completely on board with it simply because of the injury. He'll go in 20-35 range though.
  14. Yeah, right now, the 1st round locks are: QBs (4): Caleb, Male, Jayden, JJ TE(1): Bowers WR (4): MHJ, Nabers, Odunze, Thomas OT (7): Alt, Fashanu, Fuaga, Latham, Fatanu, Guyton, Mims IOL (2): JPJ, Barton Edge (3): Turner, Verse, Latu DT (1): Murphy CB (3): Arnold, Mitchell, Wiggins S (1): Dejean That's 26 players. Now, guys will rise (like Robinson for example). I do think those 26 are 1st round locks. The only bubble guy is Barton from my list.
  15. Nah, KC desperately needs a LT. You think Reid is going to get Maholmes hit? If not LT, then outside CB is also a major need depending on what happens to Snead. I expect KC to take a T with #32.
