"The Completely Made Up Adventures of Dick Turpin" on Apple TV.
I like absurd British comedy and I like Noel Fielding, except on British Baking Show, where most people will know him from. He doesn't belong there.
Doing ridiculous comedy like this is where he is best. (If you never saw "The Mighty Boosh"..  oh man.. Vince Noir is a great character)
The show is about a B-, not great, but fun enough as a sitcom.

They revel in it. They absolutely LOVE that intelligent people get all perplexed over their dumb****ery, and it drives them on.
We all know Trump's main hope is to extend it long enough to be elected and then wipe it all away.

But he also hopes that the constant flood of lies and 'unfair!" screams will anger the morons into another insurrection should any of this go against him.

I sincerely hope that at some point the judge pauses the proceeding to ask Trump if he needs a diaper change.

Doesn't matter. These people are all in on the idea that if they can drag it out long enough he will be elected or somehow put in power and they will all be rewarded while the judges are maybe thrown in jail. (or more likely, outed so the mob can 'step in'.)

It's their only chance.

That's exactly what it is.

None of this is buffoonery or incompetence, no matter how much they'd like everyone to believe they make honest mistake after honest mistake.
These are delaying tactics, nothing else. Every single "mistake" is calculated to take advantage of the toothless law and extend the time they have left to breathe.
