I hate thinking about this conflict so much ( Israel-Palestine) and what the end-state is.

A two-state solution is good on paper, but how do you make it so they are not constantly at war?  Is Israel able to commit to not expanding settlements?  A one-state united solution is good on paper, except the Jewish population immediately is a minority population, and any self-rule would dilute the very nature of why Israel exists.

Many people will say, "the issue is violent, extreme interpretation of Islam".  Which Muslims think means Jews and Christians need to be driven from Muslim lands.  In America and more western countries we don't really talk about this as much as Israelis do.

Is it more of a problem for Jews to be a minority in a unified government than for Muslims to be a minority in a unified government?

It's another night of insomnia. So here I am. I wish I could sleep through the night. Haven't since puberty. You'd think as an elder it would be easier. And I read that us oldsters don't sleep as much. It's already been a couple of hours.

I was dead tired after work today, so I had to take a nap.  Woke up around 11:00.  It'll be awhile before I get to sleep for real.

  3. From the concept album The Zeramin Game.  Takes place in a light-fantasy world of Xia fallen into chaos of a curse.  You have a young outcast, Vi, and his friend who join a band of pirates to seek out the Zera to find his destiny he's seen in his dreams, and an shadowy older fellow who's dedicated his life to freeing the world from Zera's curse.  This song is just before the climactic penultimate track.  Vi headed to the shores of Zera, and Fowlen follows after him trying to prevent the boy from suffering the same fate as his own son.

The story for this album came to the band leader in a dream.  He'd shelved the story for some time intending to write a book, but when he started this band and started writing songs for it, he decided this was the time for him to tell the story.

(Not directed to China, but more as a media problem, our collective 'voice'.)
Part and parcel of the Trump problem, RIGHT THERE.
We don't say what we know to be true, we couch it in language that lets us continue to not say the obvious.

If she does, it will confirm this again. And really, how many times in this whole mess does something need to be 'confirmed' before it becomes FACT?
The right wing media created this entire 'two sets of facts' nonsense, and all the rest played right along with it as if it were somehow legitimate.

    We now gaslight OURSELVES.

Thank you.  I was going to call it out until I read you already did it for me.

    The Eternal Cylinder

I have no idea what the **** I'm playing, seriously, I have no idea what the hell is going on here. I was sold on this game being an “open world/Spore/survival/action game…I’m stuck and it only ten minutes into the ****ing game. I really have no idea what to do and I don’t like using guides, I definitely feel like I shouldn’t need a guide in the first 15 minutes of the game. That being said, the look and music of this game is amazing, once I figure this game out, we might have a gem on our hands.

    Looks weird and interesting.

So in addition to the 3 instances the DA has already reported to the judge, Trump has violated his gag order again:

Trump Breaks Judge’s Gag Order By Citing Fox’s Jesse Watters and His ‘Liberal Activists’ Juror Conspiracy

Donald Trump appeared to violate the gag order set forth by Judge Juan Merchan, who is overseeing the former president’s trial in New York over hush money payments to adult film star Stormy Daniels.

On Wednesday, Trump took to Truth Social and quoted comments made about potential jurors by Fox News host Jesse Watters on The Five Wednesday night.

“They are catching undercover Liberal Activists lying to the Judge in order to get on the Trump Jury,” Trump wrote, quoting the Fox host.

That post appears to be in direct violation of Merchan’s gag order, a reality highlighted by JustSecurity’s Ryan Goodman, who shared screen grabs of both the Truth Social post and a section from the gag order, writing:

The gag order section reads, in part, “Making or directing others to make public statements about any prospective juror or any juror in this criminal proceeding.” The screencap shared by Goodman:

The hearing next Tuesday should be interesting.

I look forward to nothing being done about this.

Is Kiran worth taking at 36 or 40? I've seen him mocked in the 3rd round as well.

It's a bit early for my taste.  Maybe a trade down to later in the 2nd to grab him and pick up more ammo?

Didn't work for that MIT Guard on the Ravens. I don't think he made it to the end of his rookie contract.

MIT's not Ivy League.  There's your problem.

I'd be quite happy with Yales Kiran Amegadjie. I get that he played in the Ivy league but he has tools and what I think is a very high ceiling. I feel he'd be a good get

The thing about the O-line is that's where the smartest players on your team tend to be.  I think I remember a statistical analysis of wonderlic scores by position (whatever happened to the wonderlic?), and the top three positions were, in order: Left Tackle, Center, Quarterback.

Side note: Packers drafted J.C. Tretter out of the Ivy Leagues (Cornell) to play Center 11 years ago and he made a nice career for himself.  Eventually became president of the NFLPA.  Did too good of a job in that role and got black-balled by NFL owners so they could get rid of him.
