  1. Russini on Get Back right now, “What a disaster it’s been in Washington...”. Only for us is benching the lowest rated passer in the league “a disaster”.

  2. Yet people still can’t fathom why he’d be benched. I’m having a hard time with it, to be honest. It’s like people just see Dwayne Haskins, QB, Ohio State, 1st round, college statistics. They don’t see the other issues. They don’t see how they compound each other. They don’t see how Rivera was handed a steaming pile of poo and was told, “Here, make this work, or dont. But whatever you do will be the wrong decision unless that decision and result happens to be that Haskins is our franchise QB. Good luck.” Snyder skates. Again. He drafted this poor guy to this franchise. He did.

  3. The year is 1872. Sheriff Haskins finds himself in the street, staring down the baddest man in the west. Haskins didn't want to be sheriff of this town. He certainly didn't have the experience after drifting in from the east hardly a year ago. But there he was, gun on his hip, staring down The Raven and being the only man stopping The Raven from looting this sad little town. The clock strikes 2 in the afternoon, and they both know its time. Their hands fly to their gun handles fast as lightning. Despite the odds, Dwayne draws first and takes steady aim at his own foot and fires. The shot misse

  5. It's simple. Rivera is a guy who played in the league, played for one of the best teams ever in the '85 Bears and won a Super Bowl with them. He's won as a coach, and has gotten back to the Super Bowl as a coach. He coached one of the leagues most dynamic players in Cam Newton. He's well respected around the league by everyone. He's got cancer and he clearly doesn't give a **** about what anyone thinks, it's probably put things into perspective for him and maybe even others around him. He's sending a message loud and clear to Dan, to the rest of the front office,

  6. Not going to lie, I’d watch Trumps. I know what Biden is going to say, but Trump could randomly declare a member of the audience a Chinese spy.... and I want to make jokes about that in real time.

  7. Stop overreacting to what Pelosi is doing. No one voting for Biden is going to stop and think " ya know, Pelosi is putting something in place to help get rid of Trump if he goes even more bat**** crazy so now I'm not gonna vote."

  10. How about the Trump supporter in Iowa, a local businessman, who was caught stealing Biden signs and charged with misdemeanor theft. There was a short write-up about the charges in the local paper. So the yuck-a-putz doubled down. He was caught on camera at multiple locations stealing the newspapers, presumably so people couldn't read out about his earlier theft charges. So now he's a twice-charged thief. https://www.dickinsoncountynews.com/story/2839758.html

  11. So, Rivera loses Michael Wilbon but wins over the team. I'm guessing that's a trade-off he can live with.

  13. I’ll take it a step further. People are saying the team needed patience with Haskins, and this is why we can’t develop a QB, but what about a coach? We get a good one in Rivera, who walked into this... yes, willingly, but it’s still a **** sandwich, and people expect the guy to turn a quarterback who has had his entire pro experience be a giant negative (both his own issues but mostly the shoddy organizational set up)... And they’re pointing fingers at Rivera saying he’s the issue. It’s the wrong line of logic. This organization, for 20+ years has been plagu

  17. He is three weeks away from losing the election, down by 10 and needs a laser focused message to break through in any capacity. Throwing a bunch of **** his way and triggering his personality disorders is a pretty good tactic. A big difference between 2016 and 2020 is that Trump no longer has Bannon to keep the populist and nativist messaging consistent. You keep his messaging inconsistent by diverting his focus towards pointless things.

  18. The snippet in Califan's post is misleading. The commission would go in effect starting with the next presidency and would not effect the remainder of Trump's current term (it would be valid starting with his second term if there should be one). It is a necessary measure that should've been in place a long time ago and creation of such a procecure by Congress is specifically authorized by the 25th amendment as an additional process on top of that outlined in the 25th amendment.

  19. Feeling like Jon Snow on this forum. Not at all. But the raw talents drafted in the 1st round should at least be given a long enough leash to find out if they will or not. Josh Allen had two full seasons worth of starts before this year. Haskins hasn't even had one.

  20. Okay, we get it. There are plenty of folks in the media that have a better pulse on Dwayne than the folks who are with him on a day to day basis. Sheesh.

  21. Maaaan @ that Dwayne accuracy video posted by SIP. Some of those are just so "this can't be real" and the primary reason why many of us are not shocked about him being benched.

  24. I’m fascinated and amused that the debate has turned to this basic question....”Is Dwayne Haskins the next Drew Brees?” I’m gonna need to think on that for a while. Really tough question!

  25. Anyone who really thinks that this outcome is the best the US could have done.... I'm sorry, I just don't get it. Every other comparable country has handled this vastly better than the US. I urge everyone to read the recent editorial in the New England Journal of Medicine. It is succinct and damning. nejme2029812.pdf

  26. Yeah. I know. Crazy. A former NFL QB versus a former front office guy. One with evidence that they’ve watched the team/Haskins. One without. I’m way out on the ledge here.

  35. Colorado, for example, has complete mail-in voting. Folks who are registered as living in one district but will be out of district on voting day can request an absentee ballot. That's always been the thing. What's different is the GOP is trying to purposefully confuse people on the issue. My problem with this...if all these folks have the internet to fall back on for all of their conspiracy theories, then they can legitimately look up **** about voting too and stop spreading bull****. But that's not what they do.
