  1. Except, they are. Draft night. You saw his body language. That isn't tangible? Yesterday, after they took that man's pants, you saw his attitude. That isn't tangible? The video with him talking to Thomas Davis and Davis explaining why, in camp, Haskins can't stare down receivers. That's not tangible? Haskins flat out saying he didn't stare down receivers post game against Cleveland, that's not tangible? Him liking pictures on Instagram about Gruden being fired, that's not tangible? The way he sulks on the sidelines, that's

  2. Biden HAS to have a solid job lined up for Mayor Pete. I remember they're were close many months ago.

  3. Jason LaCanfora was just on ranting about this decision, saying they needed to stick with Haskins--like he has a personal stake in Dwayne Haskins. He's literally screaming about it. At no point does he recognize that Haskins is the worst QB in the league. I have never been more in favor of this move.

  4. https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2020/10/08/ron-rivera-dwayne-haskins-decision/ Any pressure Washington Football Team Coach Ron Rivera might be feeling is coming from the men below him, not the man in the suite above him. To replace Dwayne Haskins at quarterback after four games is a mightily defiant move, but it’s where Rivera feels his duty lies: to 52 other players, not to owner Daniel Snyder. This is Rivera’s bid to control the door to his locker room, to make sure the owner’s creeping poison gas doesn’t waft over his team like chloroform and knock it int

  5. There is no question that there has been and is a racial bias around the 'black QB' in the NFL and fans of the NFL. Some of that is couched in the language of 'work ethic' "attitude' and 'intelligence'. I will point out those claims have also been attached to some notable white QBs as well - Jeff George, Ryan Leaf etc - so its not JUST a racial stereotype. Conversely you don't see many claims that Russell Wilson (say) lacks intelligence or does not work hard. There is zero doubt that work ethic and willingness to REALLY work at your game is a critical factor in a QBs c

  6. Mayor Pete is making a case for press secretary. He lacks experience, but he’s very talented and belongs at the federal level. Dems should try to find him a seat in Congress or senate sometime down the road.

  7. gee, remember when der trumpster tweeted "liberate michigan" in caps after those militia nutbags showed up armed at the state capitol? one of the projects i have when i become supreme ruler will be to mobilize all leo agencies (which will be run by diverse and empirically proven intelligent and stable leadership) and provide whatever resource-amplification they need, with everything inc. raptors on the table, to exterminate (with a capital e) all ms-13/cartel/sex-traffickers/militia/proud-boys/'outlaw" biker gangs members and any similar piles of meatsacks also, q-anon

  8. But this isn't Dan or Bruce Allen saying this, it's a guy who has been to the Superbowl as a coach, coordinator, and player and was part of one of the greatest defenses of all time. Are you saying he is lying? What would be his reason to lie? Does he have a vendetta against Dwayne? Why have two coaching staffs back to back wanted nothing to do with Dwayne? At what point does Dwayne hold himself accountable?

  12. So Rivera is racist now? I heard the same **** about Shanahan and Gruden after RG3 and then Bob went and proved he wasn't good enough to be a starter elsewhere. This is a ridiculous narrative to start about a guy who had Cam Newton leading his team for years. Smfh

  17. This narrative that Haskins is owed something is the most embarrassing part. Ron doesn’t owe him a damn thing. He gave him a chance and he couldn’t hack it, all those comments from players and people like Wilbon are ridiculous. I really hope Kyle Allen comes to play. Let’s gooooo

  21. Dear Republicans - Swine Flu in America - killed about 12,469 people - Trump says Biden did horrible - and this is his proof. Flu deaths in America 2019-2020 - 24,000 - 62,000 dead. Let's go with 62,000. I think we've broken 50,000 twice in the past 10 years. But let's be safe. War on Terror - American deaths so far - 7,024 deaths Korean War - 36,574 Vietnam War - 58,220 9/11 attacks - 2,977 Revolutionary War - 4, 435 Let's go ahead and add these together = 183,726 people dead. We can round it up and say 184,000 dead. Or let's just round it up fur

  24. Apologies if this was already posted. New WaPo article: https://www.washingtonpost.com/sports/2020/10/08/dwayne-haskins-benched-washington/ But inside the team’s practice facility, momentum for the move had been growing, a person with knowledge of the situation said, in part because Haskins had fallen into poor study and practice habits. The person said Haskins’ lack of preparation was hurting him in games, leading to overthrown passes and missed opportunities to hit open receivers. The concerns represented a departure from the effort Haskins had shown in winning the

  25. The switch to a virtual format was just the excuse trump needed. his only debate strategy is to talk over everyone so that no one else can present their ideas, because he’s unable to present anything appealing to anyone. virtual debate means they’ll shut his mic off. This means a debate where he has nothing to work with in terms of tactics. Biden should do the debate by himself. Answer every question. Uninterrupted. Show people what an adult looks like. Disagree. im currently recovering from covid. I didn’t hear anything that sounds like

  26. Apples to oranges. Entirely different regime and circumstances. Something I think being missed in all this is just how huge it is. The guy went from both captain and starting QB to sweatpants in 4 weeks. That's not a decision that is made lightly. I guess I just don't understand what folks think Ron's motive in all this is. Do you really think if Dwayne was working as hard as expected, coming to work everyday with a great attitude, that it wouldn't both show up on gameday and in the meeting rooms in Ashburn? If that was happening, we wouldn't be having this conversation.

  27. That's the problem with speaking in the subjunctive. If you're going to say the team couldn't have come back from 17 down with Alex Smith, there's also the possibility the team would have never been 17 down with Alex Smith.

  28. I found this quote to be right on point with how I generally felt about the debate, in general, with the caveat that Pence spent 1.5 hours dodging questions, for the most part. "Without even being in the room on Wednesday, Trump was the loser of the debate. For roughly 90 minutes, the country was reminded what US politics can feel like when he is not center-stage. It's a lot quieter, far more substantive, and decidedly less likely to fuel the divisions that have pushed American democracy to a breaking point." https://www.businessinsider.com/fly-pence-head-biggest-momen
