  2. I think he's a pretty safe bet. The D-League is closer to the NBA than the NCAA is. Rice has been facing the same style of defense and playing in the same offenses he's likely to see in the NBA. I'm pretty sure the three point line is the same too (though I've never really thought about it, just assume it is). He's an athletic shooter which translates fairly directly to the NBA. The question with him is can he stay out of trouble and stay focused living in Chocolate City. I hear from my black single friends that DC can be a much more distracting place than I like to think it is.

  3. Somehow, some way, Ernie Grunfeld has blundered our way into an incredible position. There is so much we did wrong: - Gilbert Arenas extension. - Mike Miller & Randy Foye - We whiffed on the entire 2011 class. - We royally screwed up extending Blatche and had to use our amnesty on him. Still paying him for a while too. - We ended up with a situation where we had to play JaVale McGee and Nick Young big minutes, making us effectively the dumbest team in the NBA. The Shaqtin' A Fool Dynasty. - There was a point when Jordan Big Balls Crawford, who once claimed he could be at least

  5. good for this guy - kuato- who posted just below the article on the post website. he gets it. --------------- Shame on the Wapo. This is a manufactured issue at every point. First, this is not a debate. The Washington Redskins is a private business with an 80 year history. It is owned privately and protected constitutionally from public or government interference. The goal of the Wapo's onslaught of "coverage" is a failed attempt at public manipulation - the paper wants to force a shift in public opinion regarding the team's name by trying to create the impression that the word redskin is de

  7. “We’re more worried about our kids being educated, our people housed, elder care and the survival of our culture. We’ve been in that survival mode for 400 years. We’re not worried about how some ball team is named.” -----------------------------------------------===============G. Anne Richardson, chief of Virginia’s Rappahannock Tribe I don't think the Redskins changing their name, helps any of these problems.

  8. You clearly don't understand how polling works, otherwise you would not have made that statement. Polls have various measures to ensure randomness so that they can use a small portion to represent a whole. Or do you really think you know better than a Nationally accepted poll and its scientifically-backed methods? The Redskins question was reserved only for polled people who identified as Native American. they did not know the question would be asked. The poll was for information about the public meant to help election officials by understanding trends. Out of the total number of responden
