  1. I'm hoping they get a big and a scoring wing. They aren't going to find better than AJ Price. They might find a rebounder and a spot up shooter though.I actually like some of the guards that might be there in the second. I like Ray McCallum and Nate Wolters and maybe Isaiah Caanan. Or a big would be nice. One of these big white defensive centers like Colton Iverson or Jeff Withey. A goon. Tony Mitchell could be a nice pick too if he makes it that far. Just for sheer upside. I sort of like Mike Muscala too. He's soft, but he's got skills.

  3. This has been an interesting draft. I was so sure that we wouldn't get a chance at Noel that I was easily grading him above Porter, but when the moment came I wanted Porter more than him. True big men are hard to find, but when one already has knee injuries you get hesitant. Then when you add to it the limitations in his game and our history of player development I said I'd be satisfied with a triple and the potential to steal home than going for the home run and not even getting on base.

  4. Makes perfect sense to me, and just to elaborate look at the team we had back in 1999. That team had Webber and Howard and if we'd have played it right - either by keeping them or finding a more legit trade - we could have actually been a part of building a franchise. That's the thing about having a legit team. Atlanta can have trade talks with other teams because they have something to start with. When your team is filled with D-Leaguer's, you don't get many trade opportunities because nobody wants them (Hint: that's why they were D-Leaguer's). Look at the Denver Nuggets and how they got rid

  6. It really sucks he is still the GM. Otto and Beal were two of the easiest draft picks to make. Ted will probably give him another extension tomorrow.

  7. And with the third pick the Withards select.... Sergey Karasev!! (In EG's dreams anyway)

  9. The worst thing about Dodson is that his middle name is "Dallas." That alone should disqualify him from just about anything relevant to intelligent debate.

  10. It's better for fans during the season to have a team in the playoffs than to be horrible. You'd prefer not to have a team that's barely an 8th seed that gets easily swept however... that doesn't really feel like making the post season in the NBA. Did anyone think this past Redskins season was worse than the two that came before it? I mean all they did was get to the post season and lose right? Right.

  11. Late 20's to early 30's are a 'keeper's prime - best combination of athletic ability married to experience. If you get lucky with injuries and have the right fitness regime, diet and work ethic you can stay at the top level as a 'keeper into your late 30's quite easily. Injuries can cut short a career at any position though.

  13. I get it I'm not high on EG either but I'm only going to beat him up over the bad decision he does make and not rumors. It just doesn't make sense to get all worked up and mad at EG for a bad deal he never even considered or executed. That's why I said "if". If he's allowed to make the trade then I'm done because it proves that there is simply no hope left. It's like going back to the same female who cheats on you over and over again hoping things will be different this time around. At some point you've just got to throw in the towel. Right but at the point you first made that statement

  14. Words almost cannot describe how much I enjoyed this movie. I loved it, (loved it) probably more than the average viewer, because I can directly relate to Cooper's/Lawrence's characters and their struggles. I suffered a nervous breakdown in 2009, after things came to a head in my personal and professional life. I coped with it for 6 months with drug use, and eventually cracked, getting into a scuffle with a neighbor, being handcuffed (not arrested) by police because I was deemed as a danger to myself and those around me, getting transported via ambulance, getting voluntarily committed to a psy

  16. good for this guy - kuato- who posted just below the article on the post website. he gets it. --------------- Shame on the Wapo. This is a manufactured issue at every point. First, this is not a debate. The Washington Redskins is a private business with an 80 year history. It is owned privately and protected constitutionally from public or government interference. The goal of the Wapo's onslaught of "coverage" is a failed attempt at public manipulation - the paper wants to force a shift in public opinion regarding the team's name by trying to create the impression that the word redskin is de
