  2. I follow the Bulls a lot. Deng is a very good player, elite defender and rebounder, knows his role and works his ass off in games. That said, the guy needs to get better at 3's. If you're a 1, 2, or 3...you have to be able to shoot from outside or be the superstar creator for your team. Look at the Heat with Lebron and Wade. Wade doesn't quite fit on that team. The offense bogs down a bit with him and Lebron on the court at the same time, and it will only get worse as Wade continues to age. Now Deng was a bit better from 3 the previous year with Rose drawing more attention, and maybe

  3. Kinda sad that Ernie's history prevent us from immediately discounting bull**** trade ideas.

  5. If Ernie makes that trade he should be hunted down by wizards fans and thrown into the Potomac. Swapping Okafor for Deng makes the wizards immediately worse and only reduces the wizards cap number by 200k (essentially nothing). I wouldn't make that trade if it were simply the players involved because Deng just isn't that good, he's not a great three point shooter or an efficient scorer, and the wizards have cheaper options at the 3. Throwing in a 3rd overall pick is madness.

  7. I'd take Bennett over Len Thinking Skins. Sounds simplistic, but when I watched them both this season, there was no question in my mind that Bennett was a better basketball player than Len. By a lot. I think Bennett has been nitpicked to the point where most have forgotten how good he was. Right when the season ended, this is what my board looked like: 1.) Noel 2.) Bennett 3.) Zeller 4.) Porter Len wasn't even in the top 8. I am very suspicious of him. BTW, I just discovered how to edit the quotes. If you want to quote posts while avoided the annoying quote pyramid of a long conve

  8. Passing for now on downloading a poster pic (sorry ren ), but figure I'll put this here---saw WWZ and was impressed, though it hardly remains true to the book's presentation other than in base storyline. For instance, the movie lacked much of the complex international sociopolitical dynamics that dramatically exacerbated the crisis. It really lacked the way Brooks was able to make different personal tales of survivors ring so solidly and complete in such brief time given to them in the book, and make for an effective tapestry whose myriad individual sections do to tell a complete tale of e
