Saints have placed WR Keith Kirkwood on injured reserve after he suffered a hamstring injury in pregame warmups Sunday. Kirkwood impressed as an undrafted rookie last year. Austin Carr should now play a more important role. Still no word on severity of Tre’Quan Smith ankle injury
